Love the course. Place is kept neat and clean. Owner is really awesome, comes out and chats with us.
It has decent difficulty, laid out well.
I'd say it's a full 18 hole for anyone handicapped, paths are concrete, some might be a little tricky going up or down , but recommend playing.
Waterfall and flowing water is really nice as well.

Full transparency. This is a FIB review. Papa Bears has an excellent Friday night fish fry. All you can eat!!! These are rare where I come from. This place is what FIBs would think of as a typical Wisconsin bar. Although that may be true, it's also worth mentioning the friendly staff, clean bathrooms and amazing food. Try the Boom Boom Shrimp.

I've fallen for the various "best fish fry" lists, usually crowded places with overcooked fish. Papa Bears wasn't on any list, but it's the best fish fry I've ever had. My wife and I stopped at Papa Bears for dinner with modest- maybe even low expectations. The exterior of the building is nothing fancy and it's possible to drive by without giving it a second look. Similarly, the inside is small and humble. However, what we believed would be a disappointing dining experience ended there.

We were greeted by the owner (Papa Bear) with very warm/friendly conversation and we felt welcome almost immediately. While sipping drinks at the bar, we ordered our food- the Bang Bang Shrimp and Beef Tenderloin tips. Both were absolutely fantastic with the shrimp being off-the-chart tasty. Much to our surprise, the food quality and taste can probably rival almost any restaurant or supper club. This is clearly not just another bar offering the standard "bar food" of a greasy burger and deep fried whatever.

Although the establishment may give the impression of a 'less than memorable' dining experience, the food and service will not disappoint! Needless to say, we will return.

When I place the order for my food they told me it would take 20 to 25 minutes ended up being 50 minutes. It is obvious that they made everybody else's food in the bar and my food was never made. Doesn't take 50 minutes to make poppers and a burger. Not happy with the service

The food tonight was excellent! We had the Tenderloin Tips with onions and mushrooms. The cook, Ron, made them medium rate to perfection. It was awesome! I've been a fan of this place since I moved back to the area 3.5 years ago. Been getting takeout since the pandemic started. Sometimes it takes a little while to get your food but it's still faster than delivery in a big city, and they have parking by the walkup window. Always delicious. Hope things get back to normal some time soon so it's safe to have fish fry in the dining room.
