The food was good. Went in the morning for breakfast during the week. Wasn't busy. They had good plate sizes and lots of food to choose from. The waitress was rude though, watching us looking for a place to sit. There are several rooms and a sign that says choose your place to sit. No signs that said certain areas weren't open, and she rolled eyes and mocked us with another customer when looking for seating in another room that was partly dark. This was our first time there. We had no idea we had to stay within a specific area. So maybe make it more obvious to newcomers that breakfast is served within the first 2 smaller rooms.

One has to come hungry for breakfast. I ordered a pancake with a side of bacon. The pancake was the size of the platter, very fluffy, and most delicious. The bacon was fried just right with 4 pieces instead of just 2 or 3. I won't eat again till late evening. The restaurant is very clean and well run. Our waitresses were so friendly and efficient. What a wonderful way to end 2024 .

First time at Pappa's. Thought I would try the Beer Battered Cod. Basket or dinner? Hmm...tough choice but I went full on dinner mode. Worth it. Four large pieces of cod, baked potato and cole slaw. Tasty from start to finish. Menu also included Haddock and Perch.
Nice open seating areas with several rooms plus a bar and everything was clean. Along with a friendly staff, dining at Papa's is definitely worth return trips.

By far the best breakfast I ever had. I took my son and he got so full his stomach hurts and he had a kids meal. That was enough for an adult to eat. I had rib eye steak breakfast and requested for it to be diced up and they accepted my request which was very kind of the chef. But only thing I didn't like is my waitress. She kept being in a rush at my table. Couldn't even get all my words out. No smile or nothing. But i notice with everyone else she was smiling and waited to people finished talking. I had to Keep trying to get her attention because she never let me finished what I was saying. But when she start being nice and asking my son age is when I ask her where do I write tip at. Her whole demeanor change. I don't know if she stereotype me but big change in person. Will go back for food and hopefully a better waitress

This is a newer place for Friday fish fry we’ve tried and it was excellent. Haddock was 4 big pieces , American fries were baby reds and delicious.
Service was great . Definitely a Neenah secret. Bar was very cool.
Only thing they could do woukd be to dim the lights a bit for dinner service . Not a supper club but for two dinners and 2 old fashioneds was $50 great deal!

We were able to go here for Friday fish fry with a group of ~10. Pappa's now has a bar and dinner. It was a ghost town when we went, which may be better than going to a busy supper club. We did have my 93 year old grandfather, so this was a nice refreshing pace. Service was instant. Food is still very well priced. Fish was much better than anticipated. Not supper club great, but for the price and the service it was amazing. I will likely be returning if I am in a large group and it is getting late to make the venture to a more popular bar for Friday fish.

My mother and I eat here at least once per week. We both love the breakfast and she loves the Friday Fish Fry (I can't eat seafood). We both frequently order Pappa's Favorite and omelets for breakfast. I particularly enjoy the soup selection, salads, burgers, and my favorite comfort foods: grilled cheese and French toast (not together). The addition of Pappa's Pub has been great. I love the mimosas and sangrias, mom loves the wine and old fashioneds. Can be pretty crazy on weekends, especially when the church crowd arrives on Sundays. Even still, the service is excellent and there's usually not a long wait. My only complaint is that I can no longer get breakfast for dinner, which is a favorite for me.

After moving up to Neenah, my husband & I talked about checking out Pappa's for breakfast. Unfortunately things changed. But, this last Sunday, my mother-in-law, brother-in-law and I made plans to try it out. Outstanding! We each had the Golden Omelette from the recommendation of our waitress, Sandra. First time eating here. My neighbors love it so had to check it out. It was Sunday at noon so it was completely packed (always a good sign 🙂). We found an empty table, just needed bussed, which one of the workers did right away. The menu is 4 pages of delectable sounding food plus the specials of the day on the board so it took awhile to decide. I never mind having too many great choices! We had the Chorizo Skillet and the Biscuits & Gravy Skillet. Both were amazing! Being from the south I am pretty particular about biscuits & gravy and these met every expectation. The chorizo skillet was excellent, eggs perfectly cooked, and the sourdough toast was SO good! Thick bread lightly crusty on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. 🥰 The prices are reasonable and the portions are HUGE. Staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. Our server, Sandra, was so sweet and attentive despite a packed house, more waiting and short staffed. I would highly recommend this place and be sure to tip your servers well because they are working their tails off and still smiling and making time for each person. Very impressed!

I normally come here for breakfast. Decided to come for dinner. Not too impressed with the menu selection. There's more adult beverages to choose than food items. Ordered the alfredo with chicken. I know they always say, "Don't veer too far from what restaurants are known for." The alfredo tasted like box alfredo you can make at home. To pay $15 for what had no flavor was very disappointing.
Needless to say, if I go back.. it will only be for their breakfast menu.
