The hotel room was incredibly spacious and clean. Overall, I would say it was a very average, clean, well-kept hotel. It’s nothing too fancy and is nicely located near highways and main county roads. It’s tucked away and quiet while still being accessible. I enjoyed my experience here and will stay again in the future.

I stayed in room 118. Major complaint was the mold on the windows / curtains. Minor complaints, the walls (all of them) shake when an exterior door closes, the faucet sprays water from the handle, the shower head is set at 5 feet tall and the beds are bricks.

I really enjoy playing this course. It's pretty well maintained. The greens are fantastic. Nice and fast. Played it twice this week. There were a couple spots on a fairway or 2 that I think could have been roped off and repaired but not a big deal. The only issue I really have is the website is awful. They need to hire someone else to design a good website. Something more user friendly and one that makes it easier to make online tee times. But as far as the course, I really enjoy playing there

In my room, there was ants and random pieces of food everywhere!!!! The other people kept slamming their doors and had been loud! I have bug bites ALL over me. The only thing that was enjoyable was the amazing breakfast

The hotel claims to have "free wifi" but my computer (2022 MacBook Pro) can't connect to it telling me "try moving closer to the wireless router". I called the front desk to inquire... and the lady at the desk told me that lots of guests have this issue and "laptops don't work very well on our wifi" (she kept telling me that over and over and over again).

From my hotel stays over the last few months here, I know that the Wi-Fi works very well near the lobby, but that doesn't help me stream Netflix on my computer in any of the 9 rooms closest to the pool. So I asked to switch to a room closer to the office. The attendant then started asking me how old my computer was (implying that my computer might be too old to be compatible with their Wi-Fi), but she had nothing more to say when she found out I had the 2022 MacBook pro. I had to politely insist on a room change (I was very polite, always had a smile on my face cause we all know "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar")

Also, room 326 is next to the ice machine. No, you can't hear people geting ice, the soundproofing is plenty good for that...but worse, the motor on the ice machine is so loud that you can here it's "whining" through the wall ALL. NIGHT. LONG.

She said they had no other king size rooms closer to the office, (although she did say they had a room with a hot tub, but that wasn't in my price point, so my compensation for having to switch rooms was being downgraded to a queen!

In this new room, the analog controls of the heater/air conditioner are such that you can't just set it at any particular temperature (e.g. 70°). These dials are similar to adjusting the temperature in a car that's 10 years old or older... You just kind of guess where you think you'll want the dial set.... and if it's too hot then adjust it again...and again, ugh...

I travel to the area multiple times per month for work, this will be my last stay at this location.

I've been to Par4 many times, with family in Waupaca and a holiday home owned by my parents that we visit year round. So we aren't exactly local but frequent visitors. We've had some fine experiences and food but recently received some of the worst service we've experience anywhere. To start, we weren't greeted or welcomed when we sat at the bar... fine, I've worked in plenty of service jobs and I'm forgiving of bad days, busy days or whatever the situation, generally. But things only got worse. We had to ask for everything outside of initial drinks... menu, order food, bill... bar tenders (there were two and, in our opinion, it was only moderately busy at best) many times stood right in front of us or were back and forth in front of us never asking if we wanted another drink or any other food. Instead, they would put away glasses in front of us or grab our empty app plates without asking if we needed anything (or even looking at us). We were actually planning to have dinner and more drinks but we were so frustrated with the inattentive service that we instead got our bill as soon as we were able to get someone to bring it and went elsewhere. Felt like they didn't want our business so we aren't inclined to give it. Also, some places the exceptional food might make us overlook such a bad experience, but the food isn't anything special. Not that it would be ok anyway. But it also isn't the first time I've had a not great experience... just the notably worst one and the straw that broke our backs. We won't be back without family dragging us there.

We had dinner here last weekend and the food was great! They seemed really busy with a pool and cribbage tournament going on, but the service was good even considering this. I thought the menu was big but the prices were reasonable. Four ate dinner and all had a drink and the bill was just over $100. Can’t wait to go back!

Disappointing. Nice comfortable setting but poor quality food . We came here 2 yrs ago & it was good but now I’d think twice before returning. The appetizer was flavorless which was seafood stuffed mushrooms (mushrooms were old & dry) Also ordered blackened rib eye sandwich which was grizzly & chewy. The side of Mac & cheese was also flavorless,we thought they forgot the cheese . We did enjoy their broccoli/cheese soup..

The only good thing to say about this place was that the breakfast was good and the pool was empty. Room was dirty upon arrival, hair everywhere (sink, on beds, etc). Security concerns with cards being issued to non-room guests. Paid almost $300 a night to stay in what felt like a 1 star motel with a decent breakfast.

My husband and I have a tee time 5 mins from now. We walked into bar to grab a drink. Went in from back patio door, there were people shooting pool (the table is literally right in front of the door which is an absolute terrible spot) so that’s the 1st impression, then my husband and I went to bar…. Not one word from the woman behind the bar nor did she even look our direction. Yes she was doing something with paperwork (right in front of us) but being acknowledged is key in this industry. 3 mins sitting there with zero acknowledgment from her. Around the corner a male bartender came… someone sat down next to us and was served immediately. At this point, we left upset. No drinks and bad impression
