I love coming here. Very welcoming, great coffees and they do have a gluten free option regarding baked goods (usually just one). They of course have almond milk, oat milk and coconut milk. The chai tea is really good- better than the coffee chain ones. The staff is patient and the aesthetic of the cafe is very modern hipster. It's a great place to get coffee with a friend or to do some work on your laptop (bring headphones if you don't like lots of chatter).

We came here to grab coffee to go and ended up also ordering a couple of breakfast sandwiches.

What we liked: The atmosphere; it was nice and open with plenty of seating inside and out. Seems like a great place to come with friends or bring a book and relax solo for a while.

The breakfast sandwiches, overall good. A little more on the greasy side than I prefer, but flavor was on point.

What we didn’t like: First and foremost, what we came for, the coffee. My husband and I both ordered different latte options. We agreed that neither was very good. The maple latte lacked maple… zero hint of maple anywhere in there. The busy beaver latte tasted more bitter than anything and there was perhaps a hint of cardamom there, though not much. Disappointing, because both sounded delicious when reading the menu!

Second, the gentleman taking our order at the front. He was perfectly pleasant at first, but, this being our first time coming to Paradigm and having zero knowledge of the place prior to actually walking through the door, we did not realize it was a purely vegetarian establishment. I asked if there were any meat options included for the breakfast bagel and when I asked this question, the gentleman‘s face and attitude completely turned sour out of nowhere and he responded with a bit of an attitude and an annoyed stare “We don’t have meat.”

Okay…I’m sorry. I didn’t realize. It was very offputting. Taking that kind of attitude with customers, especially new ones, is a great way to ensure that you don’t get repeat business.

Overall, I would give this place another try in the future. I really did like the vibe, but I’d stay clear of the coffee drinks and go for tea instead. Oh… and I certainly wouldn’t want to offend anybody by asking about meat…LOL.

I really was impressed with the look of this place not to mention the vegan options! The open air concept, plants and wood decor is something I absolutely love. The food and drink is ordered from the counter - you will find a menu right by the case that is filled with incredible vegan pastries and desserts. I had a lemon cardamom cookie, a rhubarb and strawberry muffin, The TLT (tempeh BLT) and their breakfast bagel (you choose your bagel flavor). The food was delicious! My friend was impressed by her breakfast burrito and the cinnamon rolls she got. Also, she had some delectable corn chips that seemed homemade. Our drinks were nice, too. We will definitely be returning!

I was visiting a friend in the area and was looking for a place to get breakfast. I'm so happy we found Paradigm! I loved the vibe and the decor. I had an Iced Chai and the Betty Burrito. It was really good. My friend ordered a Mocha and the Bagel Sandwich. We also shared a chocolate donut. Yum! They make fresh cinnamon rolls on Saturdays and donuts on Sundays. The staff was friendly. If I lived closer, I'd be there all the time.

I just had breakfast at paradigm and while they exhibit excellency across many fields It is my personal opinion that their apple turnovers may be the best in town. The tea is well made and the staff is delightful.
My only complaint, as a largely nocturnal individual I found the amount of sunlight provided by the largely glass southern wall to be nearly blinding, but that is because of my own personal medical condition rather than any fault of the ownership. Who seem like lovely people and have been advocates of civil rights initiatives right here in our beautiful city of sheboygan.

Paradigm is iconic. Amazing baked goods, great coffee drinks and tasty food. Vegans and GF folks have great options. Large, sunny and relaxed space, which expands outdoors during warmer months. We usually visit in the morning, but they also have a great selection of beer, wine, cider and N/A drinks. Strong community focus, including live music. Food here was fantastic. I love the accletic vibe of the place. The aesthetic is fantastic, the bikes and all the art was awesome. But if you come across a table that has lots of carvings on it(that totally fits their vibe and looks normal) don’t carve on it because it would be very “f’d” up to do. My husband and I really enjoyed this place. He had the Egg Over a Hotcake (but substituted tempeh tofu for the egg), and I had the Willikers, which is a tofu sandwich on ciabatta with a pesto mayo and greens. Did not get pics of either, bc we snarfed them down pretty quickly. We then ordered coffee and rhubarb coffee cake (pictured), which was pretty fab. We also loved the chill vibe (music & decor). We will be back!

I LOVE THIS CAFE !! the space is amazing and inviting, i love the welcoming atmosphere as well as the whole aesthetic of the place. TONS of various seating options and the customer service was very friendly and efficient. the menu has a great variety and is decently priced, with lots of great vegan options (that actually tasted amazing!!). I enjoyed a Busy Beaver latte and a bagel with avocado that was amazingly soft and delicious. The atmosphere was nice! However, the drinks take forever and the actual coffee itself tasted burnt and gross. I understand this isn't starbucks and I don't mind waiting, but come on, 20 minutes for an iced latte? There was barley anyone in the store, the baristas were just talking the whole time. That being said, their pastries are fantastic and the staff are overall polite. I don't think I'll be back, waiting 20 minutes for an iced latte that does not taste good AND paying $8 for it doesn't seem worth it. Bakery was wonderful! I tried 4 items during an event that lasted hours and each one was delicious--not just "mm calories" delicious, but in terms of flavor complexity. The people seem awesome, too!

The vibe was excellent and seemed pique hipster in a good way. Gastropub meets Scandinavian bike cafe? A great spot for light bites and talking with friends.
