My husband and I have a boat slip up the street and decided to check this place out. We're pretty particular when it comes to pizza and find that most places leave much to be desired. Park Avenue Pizza actually does pizza right! We like to come around lunch on a Saturday or Sunday, which is a really quite time. Typically there's one person working the bar and the dining area, which has been fine because this has never impacted the great service we keep receiving. We always order the cheesy garlic bread and a BYO pizza with artichoke, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, red onion and extra cheese (this is personal preference, not because they don't put enough cheese to begin with). The bread is super fluffy and has that dreamy cheese pull! The pizza is consistently amazing! I love that they offer a variety of toppings that goes a little beyond the basics. We haven't tried any of the other food because the pizza is just too good.

It was late Sunday night, our stomachs were growling, and every restaurant in town seemed to be on a break from feeding humans. Just when we thought we'd have to survive on dreams and disappointment — boom! We found this place. Total coincidence, total lifesaver. The pizza? A cheesy, crispy miracle. These folks clearly know their way around dough and toppings.
Moral of the story? When the night is dark and the hunger is real, keep the faith — and maybe keep this spot saved in your maps. We walked in hangry and left full and happy.

Great pizza, homemade. Excellent fish fry, just the way we like it. I'm not a real food critic but I believe these are one of the better ones around. We go early so there is no wait for table, but takes a little to get served, 30 to 40 or so minutes. But that's made from scratch per order.

This was my second time here in a year with the same group of friends. First time around I think we would have rated everything with all 5 stars, unfortunately this time around we all left at the end of the night and have no intention of returning. Our food was great, the service just ok-we felt rushed through out the entire evening although it was very busy between 6-8pm. However the clincher for us was when our waitress and other staff kept looking in on us between 8:45-9:20, started vacuuming and clearly trying to hint to us that they were closing. We checked the hours on Google as we were sitting there and they close at 10. We felt uneasy so decided we should leave, it was apparent they wanted us gone. As we left we one of us asked what time they closed and one of their waitresses replied, “10 o’clock, no worries.” But at this point we were already on our way out. Another friend asked a different waitress the same question not realizing we had just asked and sadly her reply was beyond rude, “Well we close at 10 but we start to clean up and close up early if no one is in here.”
If no one is in here? Excuse us? We are four paying customers; eating, drinking, tipping, paying! Sure we had cashed out but we were still talking, laughing and enjoying our night out. We still had 40 minutes! All of this could have been handled in such a better way. If they wanted to close early all they had to do was approach us, ask/tell us; the not so subtle peeking around the corner multiple times, starting to vacuum, etc were simply necessary, but the moment that sealed the ‘no return’ deal for us when we were referred to as “no one in here.” Please know that I work in retail & customer service and I have to be very disappointed to complain and extremely pissed off to waste my time leaving a review. I know what it’s like to want to close the doors and go home ON TIME and have to stay after hours of people are shopping, but to tell a party of 4 “no one is in here so we’re closing up early.” WOW! Just WOW! Well go find good pizza somewhere else.

We really liked the food and service, a little dingy as far as atmosphere goes but ok. The only thing that was a negative was the large garden salad was listed on menu as $12.95 but was $14.35 on bill. I let it go because I was with other people. Hopefully they will correct that.

Buckle up, horrible experience ahead. we were gifted a gift certificate to try Park Avenue pizza as a Christmas gift. I called in an order and BEFORE I even started my order I let the woman on the phone know that I had this gift certificate that doesn’t expire until January of next year and that’s how we were going to pay, on the phone she told me that was fine and to just present it when we came to pick up the order…imagine my surprise when we arrived to pick up our food when an older woman looked at my partner in the face and told him “ you cannot use this to pay …it’s dine in only LEARN HOW TO READ” it was so incredibly rude and embarrassing especially since I made them aware on the phone beforehand of the gift certificate and that was told that it was fine to use it to pay, because of that we refused to take our food because who talks to people like that? Then we were followed outside, and were threatened by the owner and this older lady that they would call the police and that we have to buy the food, mind you we did not even take the food so there was no stealing involved. They refused to take accountability for their part while we did take accountability and apologized for not reading the fine print and that there was a misunderstanding. There is no excuse to talk to people so rudely because of a mistake made on their part and our part and to be threatened and followed outside. That company has the money since the gift certificate was pre paid for and obviously we will not be returning to use it. We were bullied out of this establishment. The cook also came outside in his apron and that is NOT food safe and that contaminates the apron so I can’t imagine what other food safety practices are neglected if simple things like that are also so easily broken.

Food was great! The bartender/server, Lisa, was extremely rude and seemed to be annoyed by us being there. As soon as we walked in she said “I just sat down” and groaned about getting up to do her job. She was very short with her words and sighed quite a few times in annoyance of us just sitting there browsing the menu on what to eat. Someone told me about this place and how good they are. We sat right away, which was awesome, and had a great feel to the place. We were greeted by our waiter, and he seemed young and nice. We ordered our drinks and everything seemed fine, we did not have water while we waited, after a long while he finally came back with our drinks and to order food. Then this is when things took a turn, we waited a long time for our food, almost 45 mins... it was a sandwich and shrimp alfredo. Granted, it was a saturday, so the place was busy. We took that into account. Our waiter never checked in on us to see if we needed another drink or anything. We had to flag him down a few times. The food was alright, the sandwich was cold and the alfredo was hot. The shrimp was not good, so even though the pasta came with a lot of shrimp, it did not taste good. So I ate around it and just ate the noodles. My mistake was because upon leaving, I felt ill. Finally, we had to hunt down our waiter just so we could pay and leave. We explained to our waiter why we were upset. He just shrugged it off, took our money, and we left. Overall, it was not a place I would go out of my way to go to again.

Not good at all! Was there for 20min waiting on a takeout order they said would be done, felt like 16 year olds where running it. They didn't give us the salad, or the appetizer we ordered. Payed 35$ to not get half the food for 2 people so we had to go get more food. In addition, the food we did get smelled and tasted rancid. Ether the milk or cheese went bad, my boyfriend was throwing up 5 min after eating it. We will never be coming back here again. Every time I am in Pewaukee, Park Avenue Pizza is a must stop. The crust is original and I cannot find anything like it anywhere! Combined with their tangy sauce and generous cheese, it's always something I look forward to when travelling to Wisconsin. It's a family owned business and the people at Park Avenue make you feel at home. The restaurant itself used to be a movie theater, so it has a unique vibe. Came here with just over an hour left before closing on our last night at a hotel/waterpark in touristy Pewaukee.

Anywhere my family & I go for a vacation or quick getaway, my wife knows at some point we're gonna be having pizza and obviously in the land of cheese it's definitely happening.

With a time crunch at hand and with 2 of the higher or highest rated pizza joints in town closing at 9pm, this was the closer drive for us but I'm sure glad I chose this place.

I knew I was gonna love it from the 1st glance outside. Once inside and seeing all the classic cinema posters and memorabilia, I fell in love with the vibe.

At still reasonable prices, Park Avenue has a good all around menu and drink menu, clean/sanitized dining room and our server Abby/Abbey did exceptional.

The pizza here is dee-lish, I think the Fourteen seasons may have made the pizza a bit salty for my wife but I still very much enjoyed it and my boys enjoyed their sausage pizza.

We live more than a 60-mile haul south in Lake County IL and we loved this 2-night quick getaway in Pewaukee. I'm guessing the lake makes it a boaters' paradise during the warm months.

Pewaukee seems to be full of surprises as far as the places and restaurants we visited. If ever in the area again, I could definitely go for some PAPC pizza!

We ordered the broasted chicken for takeout tonight . When placing the order at 5:00pm, we were told that they did not have any more chicken breasts so it would have to be wings and drumsticks only. We received our order ($80.00 worth of food .. (2) 10 piece bucket dinners and our chicken tasted like cod. Clearly the chicken was cooked in the same oil as they make the fried fish. It was so gross that we ended up throwing most away.

This review is long overdue. When it's good it's good, but when it's bad it's very bad. Owners get angry and defensive easily. Also, buffalo wings come with cayenne pepper sauce and were likely invented in Buffalo New York. Buffalo wings aren't named for the sauce but they're named Buffalo for the same reason buffalo wings are. Where they came from. Fried wings have been around for about as long as this country has, frying them doesn't make them buffalo. It's a weird hill to die on. Let's pretend y'all were right, NOW, the term buffalo wings is associated with cayenne pepper sauce and you're just setting yourself up for failure. Honestly, I haven't been here in a long time because of my past experience so I don't even know if it's still an issue. But I saw a post that reminded me of my experience, so here I am.

The three of us walked in for dine in and waited at the hostess stand. The girl eventually came and said it would be 20 minutes until you can order your food but you can sit now. So, we went to a bar table and waited, and watched three separate parties (total of 6 people) get drinks and one person ordered food immediately. Had a fantastic pizza Friday night! Crispy and thin crust.called The Company President. Mozzarella, sausage, red onion, green pepper, mushrooms, black olive, and pepperoni. We also enjoyed the beer battered fried mushrooms.

The band stopped in here after a long day of recording, and we were so glad we did. The pizza here is excellent. Made from scratch. Also, great selection of burgers and pasta.

Usually get takeout, but dined inside... Very nice place. Had appetizer platter #2, it was good and filling... Also had a delicious large pizza... Definitely will return, gotta try the Alfredo and fried chicken 😉
