The service is ALWAYS fantastic... And the food is unique and yummy! The burgers are really good with a bagel bun! Go. And. Eat. Chicken wings (Parmesan garlic!). Chicken strips with honey mustard dip.❤️
I must say, they prepare food FROM SCRATCH. Real food!
Oh.... And the drinks are very refreshing.🙂

Park Island bar and grill is a great option for lunch and dinner if near Nelson Lake. The chicken wings were perfectly fried. Looks like their fish fry is very popular as well and can't wait to try when in the Hayward area again.

Park Island is not far from our cabin. It’s accessible by car / truck, UTV (plenty of parking for all) and boat! They have outdoor seating with a view of Nelson Lake. Their service rocks, and their fish fry is one of the best around!

This resort is just down from our cabin, so I can only speak to the restaurant and bar having never actually stayed at the resort. Even though I really want to keep this place a secret, it's just too good not to share. You'll find the BBQ pulled pork sandwich absolutely delicious - outside of actually being at a smokehouse, they do a fantastic job! The steak salad is something to write home about, generous portions, and always very fresh. Eaten here dozens of times, never once a bad experience. Set yourself up with a true Wisconsin brandy old fashioned, kick back on the deck, and enjoy! Can be sometimes very busy, but if you can find a spot it's worth the wait.

It’s 2022, and I’m at the point where I am rating places based on the quality of servers. And Park Island has a top notch bartender that was on her A game. She kept the entire bar and patio well hydrated. We had cheese curds and burgers. A WI staple. And it’s a staple for a reason, since they are so darn tasty.

My husband and I recently stayed for a week in a motel unit here. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My husband caught a bass every morning from the dock. The views were breathtaking!
One of our favorite parts of this beautiful property was the bar and grill. The food and drinks were excellent! The owners have created a wonderful atmosphere there were locals and visitors can grab a drink, watch the game and just relax.
We will definitely be back!

The owners are nice but if you're looking for a family friendly beach this isn't the place. People park right on the "beach" area, so if you have little kids this isn't the beach area for you.

Maybe no air or else it was working as hard as possible! High in 90s and place was packed on July 4th!!!! Food came out very fast! Will definitely go back!!

Have been going there with family for years.No major problems. This year we had no hot water for three days.Upon arriving our boat wasn't ready like other years.While there the cabin was pressure washed on two days.Did't make for a nice vacation.

Owners are really nice to work with, but the rooms could use some serious updating/cleaning. Don't expect to get a good night's sleep as most of the beds are about 3 inches thick and there is no A/C. I do not plan on returning.
