Got an order to go. The staff was super accommodating. My sides were very good.
But the potato skins had BBQ sauce on them, and it overwhelmed the taste. It was skins with sauce, no matter what else was there.

---Went again. The burnt ends were fantastic. Curly fries were good. My cousin liked the coleslaw. The tri tip sandwich was good, the brisket was ok.
Also, the ribs were dry. I'm not a huge fan of putting your own sauce on, but that was ok. The ribs were just super dry. My wife said they were like jerky. They weren't that bad, but we're on the well done side.

I can forgive them for the skins, they are what they said they'd be, I was hoping for less. The ribs though... I'll get the brisket next time.

The waitress couldn’t explain with something on the menu was so instead of going and finding out, she just stood there so I ordered it and it turned out to be horrible and not worth the price had been explained I would not have ordered it. I did talk with the manager on the way out. He was not apologetic at all. He explained the differences between the two dishes and I told him he needs to tell his waitress if she doesn’t know what something is, she should go ask somebody and he said thank you for your suggestion that was it. I will not return to that restaurant. I was highly disappointed in my meal

We spent 4 days in Sheboygan, and ate here 3 times. The age range in our group of 7 was 3 years old, to 73 years old. There was something for everyone. The pork sandwiches, burgers, and wings were great. One evening we carried out pizza and it was delicious. Servers were helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed, even though we were Cubs fans and the Brewers were on every TV.

Absolutely loved the delicious bbq! Had a sweet waitress as well. Strange thing happened tho- my little sister ordered off the kids menu and when the order rang up at the end, the charged her full priced for an adult menu. When I told them it was a kids meal, the manager asked to compromise and have her still pay half of an adult price rather than own up to the waitress’ mistake of writing her order wrong. Absolutely terrible experience. Went here Monday night, had 2 drinks, with a LOT of food, and were cut off for zero reason and forced to leave. We were acting completely normal and sober, and were cut off with zero explanation or actually talking to us - TERRIBLE customer service - a manager never came out - just a snotty bartender with braids and glasses. I was in Sheboygan on business. Wanted some good BBQ food. Found PJ's on the riverfront so I thought this should be great. The view was fantastic. The waitress took my order for some Kansas City burnt ends. 35 minutes later the manager comes out to apologize they didn't tell anyone they were all out of my order. He leaves me a menu. Another 15 minutes later I get up to leave, and the manager catches me half way across the restaurant to apologize again. He offered me another meal at half price. I decided to try their jalapeno sausage meal to go. It was getting dark outside so I wanted to get back to the hotel. The waitress brings my check and I paid the bill. I then waited another 15 minutes and again the manager sees me still sitting around. He goes to the back. 5 mins later the waitress brings my food out. I was there for close to an hour. I got back to the hotel room to find no plasticware or bbq sauce in the bag, just dry sausage. I found some plasticware in the hotel's breakfast room. Still no BBQ sauce so i used ketchup. At least I had a great view of the riverfront for an hour. Probably the main reason this place still has customers. This was a 1 star night, as their communications broke down this time i guess. 5 Stars for the location.

I'm from St. Louis, so I am used to having BBQ. This place has good options and offers fare I'd expect to see in a BBQ joint. Loved the southwest chx salad. Good ranch and ingredients. Smoked turkey was decent. The burnt ends were chewy and overcooked. I will admit, I don't like KC style burnt ends that much. But these felt like the bottom of the barrel. With the quality of everything else, I feel like this wasn't up to par with the rest of the meal. Even the corn bread was good. This hits the right notes for your standard fare BBQ place. It's not going to blow you away with a unique chef-inspired twist on a classic dish. But if you want BBQ, you'll be happy with the food. The location makes it stand out. It's a great setting on the water. Our service for a table of 8 was very good. We were pleased we chose PJ's BBQ & Pizza.

I’ve been here a few times and their pork is consistently great! One visit, we drove out specifically for one of their amazing sandwiches. It was busy, so we waited about 20 minutes for a table—only to sit down and be told they were out of pork. That was a bit upsetting, especially since that’s what the place is known for. I wish they had mentioned it before seating us, so we didn’t waste time waiting. Thankfully, we gave it another shot a couple of weeks later, and they had the pork back. I finally got my sandwich, and it was just as good as I remembered! Will be back in the future.

This location is on the waterfront. (Lake Michigan) just a cool spot where you can dine inside or by the dock.
If you like seafood, I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp tacos. My goodness, these were amazing. Flour tortilla, sweet lil bed of crunchy slaw, and crazy good battered shrimp that have an amazing secret sauce! There are small chunks of pineapple that adds the perfect blend of flavors, topped with green onions. I wouldn't change a THING! Holy smokes, it was good. Their fries and cheese curds are so tasty.
I ordered the cobbler and it was decent. I would recommend asking for No buttercream icing. It does not belong. Man, I'm craving the tacos again now. We love this place very much.

I recently visited Parker John's BBQ & Pizza in Sheboygan and was unfortunately underwhelmed by my experience. I ordered the Texas Two Step dinner, which came with a hefty price tag of $39.99.

Sadly, the brisket was a major letdown - it was dry and lacked the tender, fall-apart texture I've come to expect from good BBQ. For a dish at this price point, I expected a much higher quality.

While I appreciate the variety of options on the menu, my experience with the Texas Two Step dinner fell short. Perhaps other menu items would be a better choice, but for now, I'd caution others to think twice before ordering this particular dish.

Fun environment and great food. Huge servings means plenty of leftovers. This was a great place to go with our toddler as there were tons of cool things to look at around the restaurant and it was loud enough to cover any whines and meltdowns.

I will start with the good. Amazing views!! And we did have a good server, Nick. He was attentive and timely. Same can be said for the bartender. Food is average, we had a BLT pizza and it wasn't anything to write home about. Cheese curds were good, fried pickles were really good. But here's what really irritated me. I called about 2 weeks in advance to see if they took reservations as were showing up with a large party. I was told no but call ahead and we can get you on the list. Ok fine, so I did. I called about an hour ahead and assumed they put us on the list, I did give them our arrival time. I was wrong. My sister arrived first and they got an attitude with her when she asked for my name. Keep in mind we all arrived at the time we stated we were going to. We were told 30 minutes but it was almost an hour. When I arrived (about 2 minutes after my sister) and was told what my sister was, I asked to speak to a manager. Upon telling her why I was upset she copped an attitude and basically said sorry we don't take reservations. That was not even my complaint! It was the fact that I was lied to several times by their staff which is unprofessional and shows a lack of proper training. I would not return based on crappy management, lying employees and mediocre food.

Late lunch, so plenty of space to sit. Good service, huge salads! We all took home a second meal!
