I love the grilled salmon dinner. The salmon is slightly seared, just a little crispy on the outside. Comes with choice of 2 sides.
I always get 1 side of broccoli, which is a generous amount, good quality, cooked just right... & served with a container of whipped butter. There you have my confession, I'm a salmon & broccoli lover.
For my other side, sometimes I get the salad. It's served with cucumber & tomato slices, & large enough that many people would think is plenty for 2 people to share as a dinner side.
The other options of soup or potatoes for sides are good, too. But I don't eat them often. I try to healthy.
Btw, I was there at an early breakfast time, but their full menu is available all the time. No problem to order a dinner.

I took my friend here yesterday for brunch and it was a mainly disappointing mixed bag. 1) The coffee tasted burnt. 2) Our server did not actually listen to and/or clarify my order which resulted in me not getting what I wanted. When I asked for it to be corrected the server continued to argue with me about it. I wanted the chicken fried STEAK and eggs, but received the chicken fried CHICKEN, because all the server listened to was "chicken fried" while the beef is "country fried". 3) The most disappointing part is that the CHICKEN was delicious and appeared scratch breaded, while the STEAK was clearly a pre-prackaged, frozen mediocrity.
My friend summed it up best when they said, "Don't bring your loved ones here."

Hello everyone. This place does not disappoint! Everything I've had has always been great! I've always left this place being full. The staff is a kind and considerate bunch of good people! I recommend stopping in for breakfast when you could eat a horse. When I lived nearby I was a regular. It's simply a great place to eat.

This place is doing it right! The food delectable! Customer service warm and welcoming! Cannot wait to go back. We had the waffle combo, Reuben with fries and Cheese burger kids meal. I am 9 months pregnant and took myself on a little breakfast date here yesterday for some Me time. i was greeted with smiles and each staff member was so kind and attentive. My server Celena made sure I got exactly what I wanted (a veggie skillet) and even offered to add more veggies- it was absolutely delicious. my food came out so quickly and you could tell that all the customers in there were having a lovely morning, just like me :)

The food was pretty good. I had a bacon cheeseburger. The burger tasted grilled which was nice and It was good quality beef. The bacon wasn't chewy. I got the fries. I was shocked at how high the prices had gone up from my last time there so I had to stick with water. Parkway used to be known for good quality, large portions, and reasonable prices. Short answer EAT HERE! I haven't given 5 stars before now. So, let me tell you. Food, im not sure how they got our food done ao fast! My order was literally perfect!(I'm picky as HELL!) My food not only looked like a picture but was also, very delicious! I haven't had biscuits and gravy at a restaurant that were good. These definitely are. The gravy was great and the biscuits were perfect. The eggs were just the way i try to make them myself. They really were busy when we went in and i don't know how they still managed to be so precise. Looks, the place was very nice looking everything was in great shape and very clean(including the restroom). Service, we were greated right away and shown to our table by a friendly smiling man. Our server was a very friendly and competent young lady, service with a great attitude and a smiling face, she was great! This upgraded family restaurant is the place to go. Reminds me of how family restaurants used to be. Thanks to the owners and the staff. Finally a real 5 star place! Hopefully I'll be back to try lunch or dinner 🍽 and see if my high expectations and pickiness prevail or if I'm won over again.

I previously ordered food from them on doordash and it was fine it was pretty alright. Today my friend and I decided to dine in. We got seated and we waited about 15 minutes and no one had taken our order yet. Then a new group came in and we’re seated and their order got taken literally within 5 minutes of them being there. It seemed like they overlooked us or maybe they were just focusing on their regulars. I’m not sure what the case was but it was really disappointing to drive all the way there just to have to leave with no food. I didn’t have time to sit and wait any longer which is why we had to leave and I felt uncomfortable when they served someone else before us when we had already been there for so long. They were generally nice I guess, but I think if you aren’t in the senior citizen age you probably wouldn’t enjoy this place. They don’t seem to care about young people. Their service needs some improvement

OWNER YELLS AT MY NEICE WITH AUTISM. Went with my niece we weren’t satisfied with our order , barely touched it and tried to get something else. Staff tried to accommodate us at first but then owner/ manager came in refusing to change our order, yelling and humiliating her saying she shouldn’t have ordered it and just don’t get it next time. This is it, y'all. THE breakfast place in Madison. No frills, no thrills, come get you some breakfast. The price, quality, and portions cannot be beat. Two people with full breakfasts and sides and drinks for $35? Shoot, it's $30 over at Micky D's for two combos; forgot all of that.

Come get some corned beef hash egg benedicts or even a burger for breakfast. I would recommend coming before 9AM to beat the brunch crowd. But even when they're parked, the wait times are never too bad.

If you go here enough and with some consistency, they'll even remember your order! Fantastic staff that are so friendly and accommodating. 10/10, all around.

I ordered the Gyro pan handle actually two of them one for myself and one for my daughter. After placing the order through a delivery service I called and asked if they could replace the feta cheese with american cheese. The staff member that answered the call was very polite and said yes we can do that. When I received my order not only was there feta cheese but the hash browns looked as if they cut them up and boiled them definately wasn't hash browns . It was suppose to have scrambled eggs on top but instead I got what appeared to be eggs that was just cracked in the skillet and mixed around with eggshells included. The Gyro meat was very dry.So yes I'm very disappointed because what if my 10 year old would have gotten the one with eggs shells in it I wouldn't be surprised because they was the exact same order. This place use to be great a year ago .I'm not sure what happened or who is in that kitchen but they need to be removed asap. When I spend 40 or more dollars for some breakfast food I expect to get what I paid for and what is pictured. This is not the same food that I was ordering a year ago. I'm very disgusted and disappointed.This is ridiculous and should have not happened .I will not be ordering from here again.

It was very busy we were there. We had not been there in a longggg time and were very happy to see our favorite waitress still there and have her wait on us. It did not take long for our food to arrive after ordering even though they were busy. My only complaint was that the hashbrowns in my panhandle breakfast skillet were over cooked . The best onion rings I have ever had. The second best ruben I have ever had (best ruben is from Ellis Deli; which closed many years ago). Pickles that are as if they were from a garden. The server admitted that she forgot the ice in the drink of the person I was with before we could even open our mouths. The place was packed. You would think that would ruin the atmosphere, but it didn't because of the efficiency of the team members.

It doesn't look like much from the outside. But the food is amazing! My husband and I stopped for a bite to eat before making our 2 hour trek home.
One-way in and out made it a little tight, but worth it.

The burger Was so flavorful and had the perfect char. I ordered it medium rare and it was so juicy! I thought I was at a burger joint.🤤

Parkway family restaurant is a very amazing to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at. Small parking lot but don't let that stop you from enjoy some amazing food. I had a customized omelet combo that included pancakes for breakfast and it was very very delicious. My wife had a bacon chickem sandwich with fries and it was amazing, some of the best cooked bacon I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was definitely on point and polite. The restrooms were very clean (cleaned with bleach)! There is a ramp for a wheelchair also. Overall my experience at Parkway Family Restaurant earned 5 stars from my wife and I. My wife and I will be back there in the future. Thank you oh so very much for everything!
