Stopped in on a Tuesday with our family. It was quite slow which was fine with us. Immediate seating and prompt service. I got the masticiolli with meat sauce, husband got chicken tetrazzini, and kiddos got bbq chicken wings. All were very happy with our meals. They are basic, hearty, home cooked Italian style plates. Prices were slightly high - but the portions are huge. I shared my pasta with my daughter and still have a full meal, if not more, as leftovers. Also, I’m happy to pay a little extra when supporting a small local business. We will definitely be back to try some more items from the menu!

Worst pizza ever!!!! We called in a carry out for a pizza and mozzarella sticks. We were told the total was 26.50. When we went to pick it up we were told the total was 46 plus dollars. After arguing about the discrepancy of the price she told us the prices and menu haven't been updated in 20 years!! After we settle on the price, we got home and come to find out, the pizza was burnt, no sauce, and poorly made. In the end I would never go here again and I would never recommend this place. I can make a better pizza at home. I'm surprised this place is still in business with the quality of service they have to offer.

This has got to be the worst place for service and food that I've ever gone to. This place wasn't busy by a long shot and it took 30 minutes for us to get our appetizers not to mention that they brought our main dishes out not even 5 minutes after serving us our appetizers. I don't know what staff were doing but there were customers getting up and serving drinks and food...seriously?!?! It took 20 minutes before they even brought out the side salad!!! My food was so horrible I couldn't eat it...the pasta was so over cooked that it completely fell apart as soon as you put your fork in it...the sauce was like water downed spaghetti sauce...there was no flavor to this at all...I didn't even take it home cause I wouldn't even feed it to a dog it's that terrible. My fiancée sandwich was terrible as well.

Where to start…slow service, the restaurant appears to be run by Mom (at the bar, handling orders, running bills, bussing tables) and her son. The salad with my entrée had croutons which were the size of stuffing mix, one tomato wedge. Soup was watery, not sure what it was because the waiter (age 13?) didn’t mention it and had to be reminded of the order. We ordered the calamari appetizer; very bland, the marinara sauce was watery and didn't have much flavor.
Mostaciolli was undercooked, same dull, watery sauce as the appetizer. The garlic bread was the highlight.
Our waiter/kid was seen eating in the dining room (he’s the only waiter), corrects customers English and pokes at you when you don’t finish the lackluster meal.
The pasta dishes were overpriced; $18.50 for a dish of Mostaciolli with 3 meatballs. If you like Italian, I suggest making the trek to Grazi's in Stevens Point. It's worth the drive--trust me.
Frankly, I’ve had better sauce made commercially in a jar.
The décor has not been updated in decades.
Oh, they don’t take credit cards—only check or cash--but you can use their ATM in the back (for a fee).

Service was horrendously slow. I assume they are short staved as there was a child serving as a waiter. The Surf and Turf pizza was a confused mess of grease. The garlic bread was clearly just some thickly sliced white bread white some sort of garlic liquid poured on top, resulting in a strangely soggy yet crunchy opening to the meal I'd not soon try again. The restaurant itself was clean enough however it was loud and oddly uncomfortable. Would absolutely not recommend.

Had a great time with some regulars, the bartender, and the owner, chatting about this&that. I had high Hope's for this place after driving by on my morning commute countless times. I don't typically write reviews. However, I want to spare the readers of this review the awkward situation I was in when I sat down, looked at the menu and saw how expensive it was. I thought to myself that if the lasagna was 19 dollars for a serving it must be really good. Unfortunately I was wrong. This place needs some help! Overpriced, understaffed, old fashioned place, it's a shame I really hope the owner can get the wait staff some much needed help and just a few decor items and a coat of different paint would make a world of difference. Long story short for a beer and water 20 minutes for a 4 piece order of garlic bread and additional 25 and the place was not that busy. Also dont try to go in the front door they close down the entire front and only serve out of the back dining room apparently. Sad story because it seems like this place would have a lot of history but it needs some major TLC!

Terrible service! Disgusting pizza....two people at our table ordered gluten free pizza and both pizzas were served with burned, black crusts! We waited for over an hour for our food and there were only a few people in the place. We had to ask to have our drinks refilled and waitress never checked with us to see if we needed anything else. One person ordered mozzarella sticks and she received five sticks for $9.50 which were nothing more than frozen out of a bag or box. When the two people asked to talk to the manager about the burned and dried out gluten free pizzas, he stood there and sarcastically said, so what do you want me to do about it? He then came up with the excuse that gluten free pizza has to bake longer! He told my friend that he would take off $5 a pizza and then they only got $2 each taken off the bills. The one person could not even eat 1/4 of her pizza! We will never eat there again!

BEEN HERE TWICE... THE FIRST & LAST TIME. We arrive and order. Main meal with a salad & drink. We get our drinks... then wait 20 minutes. She brings out the main course... no salad. Ate there tonight. The Italian food was amazing. The only problem was that it took an hour, for our two dishes of food to come out. 30 minutes for our soup and salad. Our 2 month old was starting to throw a fit so when the food finally came, it was boxed up and we left. Waiter must have forgotten to place our order. Great food just a mistake I think. The best pizza in town. Their Pizzas are made from scratch including the dough. The Italian meals are also great and are made from scratch. The place has a friendly atmosphere. It even has a bar and Pat's Pad for parties. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Went here for a special night with my wife. It seems fancy, but don't let that fool you. I got the chicken cacciatore which was the special, as well as on the menu. The serving portions for my wife and I were large and the food was delicious. My chicken was extremely tender and falling off the bone. The server was personable and friendly. The restaurant itself is lauded by locals. I would go back again but not for an anniversary night. It would be good for a regular weekend date.
