Owners of this restaurant is super awesome and know how to run business. All staffs are great and run smooth to take order.

Owner does show respect to Veterans and appreciate . He does give a nice Veterans coin for those who serve in army. Every year they do fundraising for veterans and pick winner for raffle.
So I have been hearing past few year winners said “There is CATCH!” If you win then they will make you BUY EVERYBODY a drink. How stupid is that. Rip off.

Their foods are way too delicious and cook ever perfect. I love their chicken, wrap and burgers!

First time here. Staff was friendly enough.. However, patrons are allowed to throw their losing pulltabs all over the floor even in the path of people coming and going. For someone who recently had knee replacement surgery, I found this very unsafe and inconsiderate. Will most likely not return.

The food tasted decent, but most of our orders were wrong and it took far longer than it should have for a few plates. The staff was nice to some of us, blew off my wife a couple times, and sarcastically questioned my drink order.

When we arrived there were a lot of people at the bar, but we were practically the only party in the dining room. By the time we had finally eaten, a large number of other dining parties had come and gone. There were used lotto tickets all over the floor, even though nobody was opening.

We would definitely not go again.

My wife and I stopped here while waiting for the shop to finish our car work. She and I are both veterans so it was a nice surprise this is a veteran-supportive establishment.
We both had the chili which was excellent. She had seafood tacos which she liked and I had a bacon blue burger which was very good.
Highly recommend, will come back.

Fantastic place. Chicken was phenomenal, perfectly crispy and perfectly cooked. Got pulltabs and won a little bit. Bartender was fast and nice. Food wait was normal and well worth it. Great place because of their support for US veterans. They host an event (or maybe multiple?) every year with lots of money going towards US veterans. Great food, great people, great cause. Would definitely return!

It seemed more like a clubhouse. Regulars all know one another and everyone stares when someone thats new comes in. The food is good. Waitresses are attentive. Sit at a table because if you sit at the bar you will likely be in one of the regular's spots. Their Reuben's and French Dips are good.

Pearly Gates has very good food and a broad menu. The drinks are solid and they definitely give a good pour. You won't find this is a place to go for craft beer. It's going to have a few basics on tap and some bottles and cans of course.

It has a solid liquor bar they're not at all light on the poor as mentioned.

The characteristics that stand out most significantly of this place as far as atmosphere is its extremely pro veteran. They have many organized events that support veterans and you'll find that this is a favorite spot for military, police, firefighters, etc. Looking for a place to chill for a while.

They do have some live music on occasion. New Year's, for example ,they'll typically have a band and do an early New Year's celebration with an early countdown. The live music is classic rock.

If you know, you know. Pearly Gates is the hidden gem of Green Bay's East side. A Veteran's Bar & Grill that is very active in the community. Probably the cleanest, most well-run restaurants you will ever step foot into. Jeff takes a lot of pride it making this way.
This is one of my favorite places to stop in GB. The burgers at Pearly are simply awesome. Legit hand-pattied, juices running down your chin awesome. If you order yours med-rare, you get it med-rare.
Their salads, chili, chicken dinner, & specials are great as well.
Just a really great place to check out. And once you do, you'll be back!

Came in to the bar, there was no sign about seating and no where to sit. No biggie, we wait and soon find 2 spots at the bar. Only one bartender, felt bad for her as she ran to keep up. She came took our drink order and I asked if we could order food at the bar. "Yep" and handed us menus to look over. We are ready to order when I notice a gentleman talking to another customer about thier table. The party has added 2 more people and needs a bigger table so they have to move. I mentioned that we were waiting to order when I was told we could not order food at the bar and had to be moved to a table. Luckily enough we could take the table that just opened.
I'm frustrated with 1 how rude he was about having to sit at a table and 2 the waitress told we could order food at the bar when we got to the table. Just hang a sign! Maybe tell guest sitting is limited and please add your name to a list for a table instead of rudely ordering a customer to a table after they waited at the bar.
Oh and the gentleman that told us to get to a table, found out he was the owner.

The Pearly Gates was great. It is a bar so that is the overall vibe vs a restaurant. The menu offers more than standard bar food, however we stuck to burgers and sandwiches which were very good. When we walked in the bar stools were mostly full, and people were chatting and laughing. Very Cheers-ish. We took a table and were waited on immediately. Wish I could recall the waitress's name because she was awesome! Her genuine smile and cheerful demeanor made the service so pleasant.

The food was okay. I had a Reuben sandwich. It was fresh and hot, and not soggy as they sometimes are. My only complaint was that the Swiss cheese was gummy and weird, like a Kraft single but white. On the other hand, the wine was generously poured and the prices were reasonable.
