My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant that I've been too, and I eat Chinese all over while traveling. Peking slices steak is great, love the egg drop or sizzling rice soup, and the best egg rolls I've had. Still the best. Large lunch portions with a soup for $11. Food comes out quick and hot. Much better than the small fast food chinese spots.

I stopped in for lunch at 1:30 on a Tuesday and the food server basically told me that if I wasn’t done by two, I’d have to leave anyways. I worked in Restaurants for two decades and never would I tell a customer that. If you want people out of the building by two, stop serving at one. I decided to leave and not spend my money there even though I probably would’ve been done eating by two because I was only going to get an appetizer. It’s so sad because I used to love Peking and now I probably will never go there again.

Almost perfect. Waitstaff had forgotten to put our order in and blamed it on the cook. We were there for awhile watching people get seated after us order, eat and leave before we even had gotten our food. First time we have ever had a bad experience there. Food was Awesome as always. I understand, I went there during lunchtime, they were busy but the hostess took my drink order and the busboy took my order and brought me my food and cleaned my table. why would I leave a tip for the waitress? We truly enjoyed our first visit. I have been wanting to eat here since I was a child, but never had the opportunity. My husband and I recently moved to a Janesville and decided to go. We had the dinner for two and it was delicious and a great way to try new things. There were two choices and we chose the higher priced one for $40 total. Tons of variety on the appetizer plate, delicious sizzling rice soup, a generous portion of Mongolian beef, and perfectly fried sweet-and-sour shrimp. Our meal was fresh and the beef was tender. We loved that they used fresh vegetables in our dishes. We also enjoyed that the servers knew the customers, it was nice to see that they had an investment in the patrons. We will be back.

Very disappointed. I had Cashew chicken. The chunks of "chicken" was mainly coating. The little bit of chicken there was were tough, chewy and grizzly. Very few cashews or vegetables. I really wanted to like this place, service was great and the building itself was fun in a classic American Chinese restaurant sense. The food left much to be desired.

The fried race was flavorless. While large, the egg roll tasted like oil and beef (the hot mustard was really good). The sweet and sour pork wasn't bad, pieces were large, well coated and crispy but forgettable. The Peking steak slices were okay but super salty.

OMG! I am eating leftovers from last night from here And they are equally as good right now!!!! That never happens with leftovers in my opinion! The meat is always tender and juicy. The white meat in the s&s chic is incredible! I have never had an item on the menu I didn’t like. I’m a very picky eater!
The service while dining in is phenomenal! I always feel valued and well taken care of. The menu prices and the amount of food you get in an entree is ridiculous. It looks like I hadn’t eaten anything by the end the dinner because it was still so piled with food. And believe me I ate until I couldn’t fit any more!

Food quality has drastically declined. The last several times I’ve eaten /ordered from there has been a HUGE disappointment. Fried rice used to be the best around now it’s barely even “fried” it looks like dirty white rice and has ZERO flavor. Todays order was steak fried rice and the steak was absolute mush and was incredibly disgusting. Sweet & sour chicken which was rubbery and the breading was slimy. I am currently 43 and have literally been eating here since I was a toddler and I will NEVER order from here again.

First time customer on a Saturday night. Pick up process easy, on time, and cashier very friendly and professional. Restaurant was half full. Food fresh and hot, packaged well. Mongolian beef was okay with lots of green onions and not white onions which was impressive. Menu said fried rice noodles, which are common with Mongolian Beef, but order came with dry cantonese noodles which was a huge disappointment. Garlic chicken was tasty and made with dark meat chicken which my family prefers; a big plus. Cashew pork was not good. Pork chunks were large and very tough, almost inedible, and gravy was tasteless. Rice was in a large container and more than enough for the three entrees.
Also ordered Crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Well cooked and crispy, large size, but flavor was off; tangy and no sign of anything but cream cheese in the filling. Our family is easy to please with Rangoon and none of the 4 of us cared for it.
$48 for 3 entrees and an appetizer, affordable. Fast friendly service. Hot food. I give the taste a 3, the rest a 4 to 5. Will we go back? Not sure. Will have to try other area asian restaurants to compare.

My husband and I went for dinner tonight(12/15/22)and were VERY disappointed with our experience. His dinner was fine but mine was not. I ordered the teriyaki chicken. I was first told that it would be served with 2 full uncut chicken breasts. I asked if they could cut it for me and was told no. I was told the everything else on the menu, meat wise, was cut up. To me that is ridiculous! If a customer asks for something as simple as that, one would think they would strive to make the guest happy. I asked for the chicken to be plated by itself so I could cut it myself. This chicken was DISGUSTING. The waitress came over to ask us how our meal was and I told her I did not care for it. She said she was sorry and that was it. I literally took 3 bites of it. I wasn't asked if I would like something else and it wasn't taken off our bill. When we went to pay the lady didn't even bother to ask how our dinner was. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion. While I don't expect free food, I expect good food and when it isn't, I expect it to be corrected or made right in some way, as would anyone. We will NOT be returning.
