We love to stop here when we visit the cute town of Hartford, from the Racine area. Food has always been consistently good, then a coffee drink and maybe a homemade scone for the road. I was offered something else but at this point I didn't want any meat from there, seeing as waitress told me the chicken was chewy because that's what they get delivered to them.

I recently received a gift card from a friend because she no longer wanted it, so I drove out of my way early before work for a coffee. When paying with my gc, the barista told me they "no longer accept gift cards from previous owners." I was shocked, and had to pay with cash ($8 !!!). As someone who's been in customer service (and barista-d), I believe they should have honored it. Someone previously paid for that! Where did that money go? The coffee and atmosphere are fine, but I was disappointed in the quality of service.☹️

Perc Place has a unique and homey atmosphere. I have gone there many times for breakfast and lunch, and I have always loved the creative food dishes. The portions are also large.
They have a coffee bar as well, where you can order specialty coffee's while dining or just stopping in for a good cup of coffee. Perc Place is a "must dine" when in Hartford, WI.

Used Perc Place as the venue for a Bridal Shower. The staff was very attentive to the wishes of the bride, working closely with me on the menu and even requesting a copy of her wedding invitation to decorate the event space in theme! I made a severely bad call today. I challenged someone who clearly was up for a challenge. And I got my butt handed to me by the culinary team at Perc Place.

We had important guests in town this morning and they requested a return to Perc for breakfast. The kids destroyed their pancakes with chocolate chips and berries. The parents joined the clean plate club of pancakes and French toast and eggs on the side. Heck, even the baby cleaned her plate of berries and eggs and sausage and had space to eat 5 spoon fulls of ketchup (don’t argue with a 2 year old who is on a mission). And then there was me. Who said to Maria: make whatever you want and I’m in. Well, somewhere between 5 and 12 eggs in to an omelette along with bacon, sausage slices, chorizo, jalepeno peppers, bell peppers, onion and every single cheese known to man later….I was defeated by the secret “kitchen sink omelette”. 8 hours later and 1.5 laps around Shalom and I’m still full as heck.
Perc place is now legendary to our family from Alabama. It’s a must try if you haven’t.

And I need to thank our server but I can’t for the life of me remember it now. She rolled with our large tables needs and soft spoken or loud spoken kids like a champ.

The decorations and atmosphere are fun, but the coffee is awful, the service is substandard, and the prices are ridiculous. The staff got our drink orders wrong, but they still charged us for them, when we turned them away after only taking a sip or two. I asked for a cappuccino with sugar free vanilla flavoring and whole milk. I told the waiter to be sure that the barista only adds a little sugar free vanilla syrup so that it was just enough to taste. Unfortunately, it came back cloyingly sweet and I doubt it was sugar free. It was awful. It tasted like pure syrup. After taking a sip, I asked the waiter to add coffee to it to dilute it, but it was still far too sweet, so I turned it away. I also ordered a diet dirty chi and ended up with another cloyingly sugary drink that tasted horrible. I specifically asked for it to be sugar free and to hold back on the sweetener, but they didn’t. I am pretty sure there was regular sugar in it too. As a prediabetic, I am supposed to avoid sugars and I pretty much eat a ketogenic diet, so I had to turn away that drink, as well. It was pretty awful and undrinkable anyway. For my breakfast, I ordered an omelet, but I told them to hold the toast and fruit that typically comes that breakfast, because—again—I avoid sugars and carbohydrates. I was nevertheless charged for the whole meal. Basically, I got a sixteen dollar omelet. The omelet was good, but charging someone for food that was not ordered is unethical. No restaurant should charge you for food that you didn’t order or food and drinks that it screwed up. My cousin ordered two eggs over easy with toast, but one of the egg yolks was cooked all the way through. She didn’t eat that egg, but took, it home for her dog. She did talk to one of the servers about it, but the staff did nothing. The sum total of our breakfast with gratuity was sixty dollars. That is ridiculous for two substandard breakfasts with coffee that we didn't drink. I tried to talk to the waiter about the drinks, but he decided to lecture us on how cappuccino is supposed to taste, as if we two senior citizens have never drank coffer or been in a coffee house in our entire lives. Seriously—I have had much better coffee and breakfasts at greasy spoons, and the prices were much more reasonable. Apart from the ambiance, our experience at this place was not good. We aren’t fancy or demanding people. It is just that the food, drinks, service, and prices were just that bad. I don't mind throwing down some extra dough for a high quality meal and a nice atmosphere , but this was a rip off . We will not be returning.

My mom and I went to Perc Place for lunch today, it was my first time there. We both had the Chai tea and sandwiches. Hands down, it was the best Chai tea I have ever had. I could drink it every day. We had the turkey artichoke panini and the Reuben sandwich. They were both delicious! Our server was also great- very welcoming and polite. Ever since changing owners I feel as though quality has gone down, I’ve never had to actually get up and leave a restaurant or any type of food place but on Sunday me and my significant other went to enjoy some delicious breakfast instead what we got was over an hour wait for food and when we got up and left the owner begged us to at least take the food that we’ve been waiting over an hour for and the best she could do for us was a 10 percent discount when we finally got home and tried the food, it was lukewarm almost cold and missing items. The heart is gone. My daughter has Down’s syndrome and worked there for a couple years washing dishes when Cynthia was the owner. A great place for brunch or a coffee. Full service coffee bar and good meals. Very busy for Sunday brunch, a few larger tables for families, and a kid’s reading/ Lego nook in the back if your little one gets fussy. Their monte Christo is incredible. They layer the bread with tart raspberry jam and the fry the sandwich in fluffy pancake batter. Yum. Good selection of seasonal offerings, I am looking forward to fall and all the pumpkin desserts coming available. First timer. Been meaning to try perc place and don’t know why I waited so long. Great atmosphere and food. It’s clear they have staff shortages and they were very up front about it. I’m very understanding with scenarios like that. All of the staff were working very hard to make up for it.

Go there now. But be patient and respectful with them.

Yummy! The menu is small but the food is great. Coffee goes with every meal. I had the Reuben. It was good. It came with horse radish. The house coffee was good.

My son and I decided to give this place a try for lunch on Tuesday. We were extremely disappointed! The coffee was extremely weak and milky. The food was pretty much inedible. Neither of us like to waste food so we forced most of it down. The only thing we ordered and liked were the plantains. The staff were extremely friendly. For what this place is charging the quality is very much lacking.

I have never had a bad meal at Perc Place! The variety of food options are incredible. The freshest ingredients are always used. The service is always outstanding! I cannot say enough about Perc Place. If you haven't ever been there you need to go.... now!!!

Heard great things about Perc Place, so we thought we'd go for breakfast and we were NOT disappointed! The atmosphere is truly one of a kind and the food was terrific! Everyone is so friendly there and the service is extremely timely. We will most definitely be back soon!

Felt like a scam lol my aunt is obsessed with crystals so seeing those being sold put me off the place for the entire time i was there. Also the essential oils being praised as medicine made me laugh.

We had reservations for noon on Mother's Day. Didn't get seated until 1 and had to wait outside. After being seated, the waitress didn't come to the table for another 15 minutes. Ordered our food. She brought us our drinks and disappeared. Had to ask for a refill on coffee from another waitress since we couldn't find ours. Food finally served at 1:45 to our table and it was cold. Worst mothers day lunch I've had. I will never be back.

Its a little pricy but I've never been disappointed by their food. Large portions thats a little more gourmet (not diner food). About half the staff are upbeat and happy and the other half are definitely not 😂 I've been here many times.

Food is great. Pricey, but very quality. The coffee is awesome. They serve door county and collectivo. They have a slew of drink suggestions that are super fun. Great place to make your regular coffee shop. Great for kids too as they have a little nook on the back with books and legos.
