Was a wonderful experience. We went here and place was really clean and well maintained. Was greeted right away.. Had an absolutely amazing waitress named alexzandria. She really took great care of us she checked on us regularly. And took special interest in making sure my order was correct even with the special request that I made.. While our food wasn't the worst, the restaurant itself was disgusting. Floors were filthy, the carpet looks like it was never deep cleaned and they could definitely vacuum. Even my 12 year old noticed how dusty everything was. I'm afraid to see the kitchen. And I hate to say this because I love their eggs Benedict and baked goods.
The coffee pitcher was crusty with what I assume to be old coffee and one of our mugs was brought out stained up. I don't think she would have brought out another "clean" mug if I hadn't asked. The coffee itself was just brown water, little to no coffee what so ever.
I ordered my meal with a "mammoth" muffin, but it was definitely not the size they used to be and I wouldn't refer to it as a Mammoth by any means. It also was dry and overall the worst one I've had there, and I love their bakery. Do better Stevens Point Perkins!

The wife and I opted for a late lunch at Perkins, and we were the only customers in-shop at the time.

Our server was exceptionally friendly and mentioned they had a busy morning and sold lots of pie. I ordered the Hungry Man bfast with a pumpkin cream cheese muffin, which was excellent. My wife was satisfied with her burger.

I also took a parking lot photo because I like how the flag looks.

After years of not dining at Perkins due to poor service and low quality food, we decided to try again. Between a waitress and a waiter, we finally managed to get some water and coffee. We both ordered an omelet with hashbrowns... he had toast, I had a muffin. It took way longer than it should have for 2 basic breakfast plates to be cooked. The waiter apologized for the wait a couple times stating they are "so busy". We counted 7 tables total in the whole dining room... that's not busy. Finally get our food and it's all luke warm at best. The center of the muffin was raw and doughy. Fast forwatd to the afternoon / next morning.... we both felt very bloated with upset/ off feeling stomachs. Neither of us had any desire to eat dinner later that day or breakfast the next morning. We will not be going back. They don't deserve the 1 star they got.

My husband and I had dinner there 11/19/24 for the first time in a long time due to poor/insufficient service and food quality. Last night we found nothing had changed! Hardly any customers in the restaurant but service was poor and slow (one wait person and hostess combination only). I lost track of how many times she apologized for the job she was doing. I came specifically to try the newly advertised ribs and they were mediocre at best..underdone and fatty. I'm glad I didn't get the full rack! Also, ordered iced tea and was served watered down something that did not taste or resemble iced tea. Mashed potatoes were not hot and not good real potatoes

Our waitress was a bit dingy, my husband asked if there was any chicken noodle soup left, she didn’t know but would check & let him know either way, she forgot til we asked again.😕 I did the buy 3 get 3 muffin deal, our waitress got out a bakery box but when I said I wanted 3 Pumpkin Cream ones she said they would get messed up in the box so all 6 muffins went in wax bags 🤔 I’ve worked in bakeries for 35 years & those muffins should have fit in the box without a problem AND when she packaged them she didn’t use gloves 🤭 My husband got hash browns with his meal & they were quite crispy. Almost every time we go they forget part of our order but we go anyway cuz I ❤️ the Brioche French Toast 🤷‍♀️
We went again this morning at 8 am & were the only customers in the building, ordered 2 Brioche French Toast platters which were so over cooked I needed a knife to cut thru the crust!($13.49 ea), I got a SMALL milk ($3.49!!!), a soda which was Flat ($3.49), an order of Hash Browns ($4.19) & a slice of Carrot Cake ($6.99) for Jeff’s Birthday yesterday. Our total was $46.88 + a $10 tip so for $56 it was a joke! Now we know why their parking lot is ALWAYS empty! We will not be going again!

We arrived at 1130pm after fireworks here in stevens point, WI. There was 1 waitress trying her hardest with 10 tables when we walked in. Service is crazy slow even though the place was 1/4 full. Wouldn’t take food order after bringing drinks even though we were ready. She said no I’ll come back. Had to wait 10 mins for waitress to stop cleaning tables before coming back to take our order. Stopped in with my dad as we were passing through town for a quick lunch. It was not quick at all. We sat for very long time before one server came to take a drink order and said the other server would be by to get a food order. The coffee caraffe the brought me was dirty and sticky. There were no sugar packets on the table, only splenda and other artificial sweetners - I had to go grab sugars from another table. They never refilled my dad's water. The service was painfully slow and the servers did not seem remotely interested in what they were doing. We had to ask for utensils after the food came and wait for several minutes as our food cooled before the server brought them. The food was fine, but that is the only positive thing I can say about the experience. Overall it was kind of gross. The carpet was dirty - the whole place was just raggedy. If I were Perkins corporate, I'd come for that place with a wrecking ball.

Took my students for state solo ensemble and waited over an hour and a half for our food. Some came out cold, drinks were never refilled, our waitress failed to check-in us at all during this hour and a half. We mentioned the long wait and two to three dollars was taken off a few tickets. Ordered the steak skillet and the breakfast skillet. Food was cold.. cheese wasn't melted, bacon and eggs cold. Gravy was cold. Steak skillet seemed like it was out of a cold pot roast or a can. Food was dry, skillet platter pan seemed only for decor... the handle was cold as it wasn't even warmed up or cooked on the skillet pan. Waiter asked how's the food, I told him it was cold..he said he is sorry. Next time don't ask if you don't plan to do anything about it. Place was empty, I should of listen the negatives reviews more seriously. I was fortune enough to give him only 5% tip. Now I'm writing this, I shouldn't have given him any tip. Never coming to this place again. This was the first time on 5 years.

Went to perkins they were NOT busy. Hostess brought us our drinks and never had a waitress come back to take our order. The waitresses were to busy bitching to each other about their schedule and complaining about the people who were high maintenance and only left them a quarter tip. This was all taking place right in front of all the customers in the restaurant so everyone heard them. After about 15 to 20 mins we still haven't had a waitress come to take our order we asked for a bill for the 1 soda and left. The people that came in just before us were eating their meal already and the 1 waitress was talking to her friends. Won't be back. Hope the manager sees this and fixes the issues or they might be the next restaurant out of business. No stars given these guys.

It's one of my favorite brunch spots, they know how to do good eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, etc. Their cranberry muffins are amazing, and their French silk pie is my absolute favorite French silk pie ever. They weren't bad, the waitress was very nice and the food came out very quick. Though to be fair, the restaurant was pretty empty. I had the chicken melt, which was a little underwhelming. The chicken didn't taste like it was seasoned, the only real flavor came from the cheese. Granted, the sandwich does come with bacon, which I asked for them to leave out, so that's partially on me. The fry portions felt a little small for the price of the dish, though. It's not a bad restaurant, though, I just feel like the quality of the dishes are a little low for the prices. The plastic was also in the middle of the eggs where they flip it to make them over easy and ripped the egg apart and separated from the egg so I kindly ask if I could get some different eggs made and she just kinda blatantly said "ok but it is part of the eggs because of how they are made" so the food was great the atmosphere was awesome just misconception and miscommunication of the staff and rudeness of a waitress that caused my problems with it.

Currently waiting over 45 min for my food at Perkins. There are 3 servers and minimal customers. Zero smiles on most of the staff. It's dirty and unkempt. My waitress seems bothered by asking for more drinks. I'm afraid to ask for anything else. My father just got up to see if there were cooks. What happened to Perkins? This used to be a nice place to eat. There used to be great service...I'm hoping the food hasn't suffered as much as the quality of the experience so far. Still waiting....not impressed. Update: food arrived. Omelets were cold and rubbery as we had to wait for the deepfried breakfast potatoes. The BLT cane without tomato. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Came in to a waitress that gave attitude and rolled her eyes as she turned away. Dropped our incorrect food off and didn't check back once. Saw her on her cell phone in back area and had to ask her to check us out. Told us that it was only her and cook there and that she was "over the night.". Worst Customerr service I have ever had.

The chicken tender platter with mashed potatoes and broccoli were adequate portions, and surprisingly fresh and of good quality. I was pleased with this choice. Server was friendly, professional, and accurate!
