SLOW service. Foot was crap. Waiters never refilled our waters (family of 6). We had to ask for a pitcher of water. We had a spill of water while the waiter was taking our order and she didnt even go get rags to help out. She ignored the mess and took our orders. After wards she brought rags over but didnt even clean it her self or help out. I had to clean it up. Pretty awful experience and the table was wobbly thats annoying.

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding the behavior of one of your employees at the Superior Perkins location.
On 09/30/2025, I experienced an incident with an employee named Stephanie Sanda, who loudly and aggressively verbally assaulted me at the checkout counter. Specifically, she told me to leave the establishment and never return. Her manner was unprofessional and disrespectful. The verbal attack was of a personal nature and had nothing to do with my dining experience.
I want to also mention that I was previously her landlord a couple of years ago, and I am unsure why she believed it was appropriate to confront a customer—especially in front of children and other customers—with such a tirade of accusations. When I calmly requested for a manager to intervene, she claimed she was "acting as management," which is concerning.
This incident negatively impacted my dining experience and did not meet the standards of quality and customer service I expect from your establishment. Superior Perkins is one of my favorite places to dine. I visit weekly with my family, and we have always enjoyed the excellent service from staff.
Additionally, Stephanie stated that we are “not allowed” in the Perkins establishment, which raises the question of whether there is any legal basis for such a claim. I am willing to take further action, including filing a police report and obtaining a restraining order if necessary, as her level of verbal assault reached that severity.
Fortunately, other wait staff and customers intervened and asked her to stop.
I hope you will investigate this matter to ensure a better experience for future guests. Please feel free to contact me if you need any additional details.

Ordered and they never gave my mammoth cinnamon apple muffins to my delivery person. Then the person I talked to a Perkins tried to blame my delivery person. Perkins had the order sealed shut. 10/15 tables were dirty when we walked in, only 1 couple seated and 3 or 4 employees wandering around. Ordered a skillet and got a half-assed, small, pile of stuff that looked like they scraped it out of the corners of the grill. Another member of my party ordered the salmon and the asparagus was literally shriveled and barely discernable as asparagus in the first place.
Asked why the tables werent cleaned and they just told us the bus boy was new. Waitress was friendly, but inattentive and unconcerned when my other party member mentioned the state of the asparagus. Ive been here several times and each time has been worse than the last.
Worst part is that other people who came in after us ordered skillets and they actually looked great. Im unsure what happened or why our party had such awful food as we were not rude and there were only 4 of us at a very un-busy time.

We stopped in for our annual dinner on the way home from fishing in Canada. Worst experience with a Perkins ever. Most items out of stock and server was very inattentive. The food items that were finally delivered were sub par. The manager verbally passed the blame on a line prep person who has been out for 4 days. Someone else should be running the location and certainly the prep work should be done by someone else if the prep person is out. To top it off, was offered warm pie and “bottomless” soda, but the refill I asked for was never delivered.

Although their own website has an option for delivery, they don't actually offer it -- something we found out after looking through the entire menu and adding everything we wanted to the cart just to click "place order" and get an error notice. I then called to place an order for delivery and the employee told me they don't do delivery, even though it's on their website. She said they work with DoorDash, but that was closing soon and she said I couldn't even do that (it was 7:30 p.m. and the restaurant states they close at 10 p.m.).

Looked up Perkins Superior on line. Perkins Superior came up hit website and came up fine. Placed an order for delivery. Received the confirmation, but had a question. The confirmation had the superior Perkins phone number on it so i called. The lady who answered said they had no order for me? I said I have the confirmation. She gave the phone to the manager who said the same thing except she added the order was placed through a third party. I said it doesn’t say that, it only says Perkins Superior website. She yes but we only make the food we don’t run the website. I said but you need to handle it because it’s your website. She nope not my problem it’s yours. You should help out since it’s your website, she said nope it’s third party contact them. Wouldn’t help I. Anyway. Not even give a number just look on the order it should have it. I said the number is yours, and nowhere does it say it was third party. That’s all they would do just say not their problem it’s mine. I called corporate office and they saw the order and took care of the problem and issued a refund. They were very helpful but superior Perkins worthless.

Well, I can say that it's one of the better Perkins in the area and I've been to them all. I still feel west Duluth is the best one but Superior is a close second. Don't bother with the one on London Road. That place is trash and should be closed down. Superior has got a good Perkins though! Their food is good, good portions, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Great views of the lake and plenty of room between tables. I do recommend this Perkins to anyone!

Very sub-par food. Very tasteless, overcooked and barely warm. Handicapp accessibility was terrible ! Sidewalk was all bumpy, w/c wheels kept getting stuck. Doorway was almost impossible to manage. Nothing special. I had the daily special as the gentleman that held the door told me was wonderful. it was excessively salty. And the did not have the cake I wanted to kill the salt. I am getting so frustrated with Perkins I don't want to go back anymore. The food is average in taste although it is often not served hot. My real problem is that serving sizes keep getting smaller while prices go higher. And on my last trip I paid with THEIR gift card and they charged me a processing fee as if it was a credit card. I won't go back and I won't give their gift cards anymore.
3 Months Later:
Friends wanted to go to Perkins so I decided to give it another try. The food was very good (strawberry cheesecake pancakes!) and we're served hot. Excellent service from the waitress. Price was reasonable for this dish ($9.99). Enjoyed the meal a lot!

The service was fair, though I would encourage the servers to get work in Minnesota where the base pay is better. Their credit card machine doesn't work, but they said they have an ATM with no fees to use if you don't have cash with you. The ATM wasn't working either, and, oh yeah, the machine charges $3.50 to use.

Not a huge fan of Perkins kitchen food. Being I know most of it is microwave cooking. Prepped for speed cooking, not quality cookin. That being said, the deserts are their own category. Food was fine, Atmosphere met expectations, but the service was awful. I ordered a half sandwich, soup, and dessert. Our server, Madison, brought our food out in a timely manner but did not bring the pie which I had requested. After our meal was mostly finished, she came back to check on how our food was. At this point the service was acceptable but it was about to turn for the worse. I ordered my dessert. After waiting for 5 minutes, I noticed her talking with another table. She proceeded to talk (not taking an order just talking) to the other table for AT LEAST an additional 10 minutes. I literally had to ask another server for my dessert and a refill. The other server delivered my refill but stated that she would let Madison know. when Madison finally did deliver my dessert she brought the wrong one. She knew she had an order to fulfill but decided to ignore it and visit with another customer. For me it was unacceptable. I felt that it was disrespectful and inconsiderate. After receiving the wrong dessert I was so frustrated with having lost 15-20 minutes of my life while a server talked to another customer that I didn't even bother to send it back.
