Literally sat there for 10 min without a single server coming. Just wanted pie. Two separate sets of patrons told us we should leave before leaving themselves. There were 3 other tables in front of us that had not had service either. This is the second time I’ve gone with absent service. The owner should be embarrassed. Went in at around 8:50 pm, had to wait 20 minutes to get a seat while there were only 2 tables occupied. No body came out in that time frame... All while you can hear them gossiping and laughing about one of their coworkers in the back. We only got seated because another customer called the restaurant after waiting to pay for roughly 5 minutes and loudly pretended to answer the phone (was great, only reason the "Atmosphere" got 2 stars. NOT because of the employees). The food was decent, though the scrambled eggs tasted like plain egg whites (literally nothing else) and instead of the sausage links I ordered, I got bacon instead.

The food sucks there and from someone that used to work there, most items come frozen or dried and need to be rehydrated. The baked goods and already frozen or the batter comes in a bucket that is scooped into tins and baked. Most things aren't made fresh at all. Will never eat there or work there again.

This morning, my husband and I stopped for breakfast at Perkins Restaurant #2475 in Wisconsin Rapids. We were greeted by a young waitress with a sweet smile and a bow in her hair named Abigail. This girl was the nicest, most polite and efficient waitress I think I've ever seen! I watched as she waited on other tables in her section and her cheerful personality never wavered, her smile never faltered. Professional and personable, and yet very sincere. It was so refreshing to see someone in the service industry be so genuinely friendly, especially someone that young! Whether it was great parenting, great training, or just her innate character, Perkins has struck gold with this young lady!
If you find yourself in need of a great meal and a reminder of what kindness and excellent customer service is, head to Perkins in Wisconsin Rapids and ask to be seated in Abigail's section!

A busy Friday night and they had 2 servers, of course, ours was the slow one. Ordered a burger with just fried onions. Came out with lettuce, tomato, raw onion, and cheese. Had to wait quite awhile to get our take home pie slices and the check. French silk pie was just bad, no whipped cream, just a heavy, thick, super thick glob and a pudding filling. The coconut cream pie was too sweet to eat. Definitely not a good dining experience.

Took forever to get a table. Just 3 of us waiting. Should have been the first clue to leave. Others waiting behind us left.
Food was served but we never got silverware. Couldn't get our Waitresses attention, so we got up and found our own silverware so we could eat.

People got sick of waiting and they got up and left. More left than what stayed to eat.
Checking out was 20 min and we WERE the ones getting checked out!
Waitresses were arguing next to our table about which waitress should take the table behind us. 2 Waitresses for the whole place on a Friday at 6pm.
One worker sat in a booth in the front and did nothing while 2 tried to cover everyone who did decide to stay.
The one sitting only got up up to run the check out and did something wrong because one waitress stood next to her yelling at her for " messing it up".
One young man stood outside and played on his phone instead of working.
We seldom go because the service is never good. All different staff again and not a clue what to do with any efficiency.
Be a long time before we go again.
Nobody has all evening to wait to eat n listen to all the loud bickering between the staff.

I grew up with Perkins, and many locations have really gone downhill over the years. However, this location still seems to be good. Staff was friendly, food came out as advertised. Matt wanted to do one of the skillets as an omelet and the waitress (Michelle, I believe) did a fantastic job getting the details just right and the cook did an amazing job and presentation was beautiful. Came here tonight around 7pm with my boyfriend and had a great time. The food was amazing. Our waitress was extremely nice and there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant. The wait was not long at all, but the we were given free chocolate milk for the wait. They were also out of rice for my boyfriends meal, so they substituted with fries. Then, when we went to pay for our meals, the host charged us for a cheaper meal because of the fish (I don't remember why exactly). Originally or bill was $54 but he brought it down to $38. Overall, they made up for the changes and we were still very happy with our visit.

This entire experience was sub-par. Food took 30 plus minutes to come out with a max of 3 tables of people at the time. Dirty tables, my daughters soda glass had lipstick on it. Our appetizer came out the same time as our food. You could tell the food sat under the warmer for some time as the eggs had a crust on them from sitting out after getting cooked.
Our waitress was very nice when she actually did come to our table. Once to take our order, once to bring our food and once to drop off the bill. Never checked to see how food was or if we needed refills on our drinks.

I had flown into Vespar, WI to visit my daughter, son in law and my wonderful 1 1/2 year old granddaughter. I took them out to breakfast. I've been to Perkins all over the US and always have a great experience. Here was no different. Actually, this is the first time I'd been with a very young child. The staff was magnificent. The server was there just enough to serve us and take the necessary family pictures and the food was AWESOME.Really great experience. Our server made sure that Wee Billie, my granddaughter, had plenty of crayons to amuse herself and us and the coffee was kept hot and full. There is something special about a Perkins breakfast. The food was great, the restaurant was very clean-including under the table which us important with a toddler around, and very professional and happy to be there staff.
Once again Perkins goes above and beyond and allowed us to create another great memory with my granddaughter while eating a delicious meal.

I ate there twice in the last few weeks. Once on a Sunday morning two weeks ago and tonight.

The Sunday I was there, I was by myself. The restaurant was only about half-full and for the most part, everyone was very friendly. The host was fantastic, my server was pretty good, the customers around me were friendly and we were all talking together which was fun. The food, when it finally came out, was pretty good. They STILL can't make simple scrambled eggs though! They always come out frapped and dry which I hate. It also took just under an hour to get my food!!!!! THAT alone is unacceptable! The waitress even said they had to let the bread rise after I asked if they had to wait for the hens to lay some eggs. I was in a hurry and it should NEVER have taken that long to cook eggs.

Then there was tonight... There were three of us and we walked in with someone I knew who sat alone by herself. She got her food, ate it, and left BEFORE we even got our food! There was a family of 5 who came in 20 minutes AFTER us, and a group of four who came in about 30 minutes AFTER us, and they all ordered, ate, and left BEFORE we got our food!!! We had to ask another waitress where our food was, for some more drinks, more napkins, etc. and we STILL waited for another 20 minutes for our food!!! NOT OK!!! We were ALL hungry!!! My mom is used to eating at a certain time every day and by the time we got our food it was two and a half hours after she's used to eating. There was NO ONE else in the restaurant!!!!! There is NO excuse for making us wait that long or making us wait until everyone else in the place who came in AFTER us ate and left!!!

The floor was dirty and very sticky, the music horrible, and the table was dirty!

We all agreed we never need to go back!!!!

Hands down the best Perkins around, the customer service is top notch and the place is super clean. My family is always going here because the staff are super friendly and they really connect with their customers.
