I’m sure the pizza is good, wouldn’t know, walked in to have a drink and order something to go and got told it would be at least an hour and a half wait. Walking out and saw the same lady seat a couple at a table. Place had like 8 people in it. Sugar River it is.

I have been to Petrosinos multiple times now and every time I am impressed by the high quality of their ingredients and their dedication to delicious, authentic food. All their pizza dough is made from scratch daily-hand tossed to order, New York style-and you can definitely taste the difference! High quality cheese, made from scratch pesto (best I have had in Green County), great wine, and a warm inviting ambience. Must eats include the “Pearls of Sicily” appetizer, the Caesar salad, any pizza (we love the “Made Man,” the “Mafia Princess,” and the “Caprese”), and the Limocello cake. This family run business features a fun “mafia” theme with historical tidbits and photos throughout the restaurant and an Italian themes playlist to round out the ambience. Fresh, high quality, delicious Italian food and a fun theme- what more can you ask for?

Small businesses bring uniqueness, character, economic growth, and have a relationship with locals that can’t be duplicated by big businesses. I rate the lost star for a rule that you’ll rarely, if ever, encounter at another restaurant in rural SW Wisco. Petrosino’s prioritizes their dine-in customer orders, first. Period. Despite your order being told to pick up at a specific time. Which was already over a hour, but that’s not a big deal to me. The staff has been informed ‘if the order is dine-in that pizza is baked, served first and those customers are priority.’
I could absolutely understand this ‘rule’ applying to patrons that had reservations to dine-in and they were made prior to walking in your doors. As a full-time working mom of two young children…the majority of our Friday night ‘dining out’ experiences turn into an unpleasant experience for everyone involved. There’s risk of my 1 night out of the week reprieve from prepping, cooking, and serving dinner to be spoiled. Sometimes it’s best if we just keep our three ring circus at home.
I’ve grown up in the restaurant/bar industry for 40+ years. I’ve also been employed in different roles within the food industry. I never seen this rule applied to all dine in patrons. We don’t live in NYC.
Your profit is your food not the person ordering two glasses of wine with their Za. Especially when you’re not running on a fully staffed kitchen…So why?
We rarely drink alcohol, so even if we dined inside - my bill wouldn’t increase with an exception of a couple extra bucks for my husband’s soda. I tip 20% of my bill, regardless.
I waited 30 minutes past the pick up time I was told. It was a few minutes short of two hours by the time I was home and taking a bite of food. I wasn’t the only one waiting to pick up either. Just happy I was first in that line.
I was not offered a voucher for 10% off next pizza, $5 off the bill, nor a drink on the house while I waited.
(I was asked if I wanted a drink while I waited but it wasn’t offered/clarified/stated it was lieu of the inconvenience caused.) Food for thought as some customers won’t return and I wasn’t the only pick up customer waiting in house.

The faces behind the bar and on your seven/eight booth floor… are kind, friendly and welcoming. I have zero complaints about the staff who are providing the actual services. I love the quaint, relaxing ambiance of your facility. The pizza is something I’ve been craving since last Friday night.

Amazing real deal New York style pizza! Love the old school family recipe sauce, top quality meats and cheeses, signature Italian spice blend, and that crust! Suprimo! Classy, clean atmosphere, with excellent attention to details. Small town family business with big city quality and taste exceeding all expectations. Petrosino's is a wonderful addition to the town of New Glarus. The pizza dough is homemade, as is the sauce, and is New York-style pizza. The Gotti pizza I had tonight was delicious and cooked to perfection. Petrosino's has a warm atmosphere and the staff was welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Excellent pizza, best crust we have had in a long time. Ordered “The Gotti” (red sauce cheese pizza) and added Italian sausage and pepperoni. Had an order of the wings tossed in garlic parmesan. Very meaty and tasty, we were told they are air fried. Friendly staff and owners, great service at 5:30 on a Thursday. They were getting busy when we were leaving. Guessing Fridays and Saturdays will be busier… so be mindful of that. We plan to go back and try some other pizzas on the menu, we stuck with a basic pizza for our first visit. Great addition to the New Glarus restaurant options for the locals. The owners did a nice job with the space after it was craft beer bar.

Walk into a well-curated interior with a beautiful bar, surrounded by tables and booths. We settled into a booth and perused the menu of 15" pizzas and other options. My eye kept going back to The Easton Wise Guy pizza, described as an "upside-down Sicilian pizza". They were a bit busy so we started with a house salad. The owner and pizza chef, originally from the Bronx, came out to tell us the pizza was on the way, and he was very excited for us to try it because he added a special cheese. The pizza was definitely worth the wait, with a perfectly chewy crust that has an audible, crisp bite, loaded with delicious, garlic-laden sauce and generous portions of cheese, including romano and our specially-added treat: imported pecorino sheep-milk cheese that amped the flavor up to mind-blowing. It was delicious hot, and after it started to cool a bit, I asked myself if it was even better. Your brain just says, "take another bite!" The chef stopped by again to see how we liked it, and it was fun to chat with him, as well as the other staff there. We sort of knew the place hadn't been open long, but I was surprised to find out they'd only been open for 5 or 6 weeks, (i.e. June 2025). It was an honor and a pleasure to partake in Petrosino's piquant pickings so near to their premier. I look forward to going again.
