Great place for a good time and for great beer. My wife and I visited fm out of town and made a stop as we were sampling the local beer scene.
This is the place to visit. Terrific location, ambiance, and the beer....the beer we tasted was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!!
The Trappist Triple, one of my favorite types of beers, challenged some of the best trappists I have tasted in the past. The Anniversary Quad Bourbon Barrel Belgian had me looking to share it with a juicy steak. It was delicious. The same goes for Got Stout. Very robust in taste. Lastly the Campfire Song was refreshing and a pleasure to drink.
Thanks to the staff for the service and to the brew master...Right On. Keep up the great work. We will return. Cheers!!!

Walked from our hotel, got in line to order and they said they were out of almost all food. What a disappointment. I would suggest putting a sign on the door so people don’t waste their time

Update: we actually came in around 4:30 and asked how and where to order - the lady said order all food and drinks at the counter and they will bring it to us. My husband went up to order and only came back with beer because you were out of most food items.

Celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary here last night. What a beautiful day and fun place! The patio was clean and open, but I was chilly so we found a great space inside to partake. :) Thanks for the good food & drink, and for the welcoming & hospitable team! First time stopping in and I was very impressed by the quality of the beers and food!

Tasting is 5 beers for $20 which is a little steep but everything I tried I enjoyed and the pours are decent.

I ordered the chicken tenders and French fry combo. Both were great and did not taste like the typical frozen apps you’d expect when ordering tendies. The chicken tenders tasted REAL and the ranch they come with was also fresh and perfectly balanced. The French fry combo had regular and sweet potato fries. The SP fries are always a gamble but these were delicious - not too thick so they still had crunch. The sauce is amazing!

I tasted the following beers and they were all very well done in my opinion. Everyone has their own palette but even the styles I don’t usually drink tasted good. I tried the following beers:
1. Udderly Peachy (Nitro)
Peach Milkshake IPA - I’ve never tried a nitro milkshake IPA, but this was great.
2.
Southside Amber Lager
Lager - Vienna - this was my favorite! Such a unique flavor. It is extremely well done
3.
Schnitzky
Wheat Beer - Hefeweizen - This was another unique style that had good flavor as well. Definitely got the clove/banana on this.
4.
Jake's Malt Lemonade
Malt Lemonade - very well balanced on the lemonade flavor. Unlike a summer shandy, you could definitely house 5 of these and not have a sour stomach.
5.
Bar Oil
Schwarzbier - usually such a dark bier you expect it to hang around on the palette after your first sip but this had a nice smooth finish that doesn’t hang around too long.

My favorite was the southside amber lager but I would order each of these again if I had to. Overall a very cool stop on the way up to door county. Love the historical buildings and this definitely kept all of the character and added a lot more!

Overall we enjoyed our experience. Since we were visiting several places in Manitowoc we arrived at opening time and did not get to enjoy the live band. Order at the counter, no table service. Limited menu but the food was good.

Constructively, if you open at 12 noon the pizza oven should be warmed up and ready to go. Since it wasn’t we waited for 30-45 minutes for 3 orders to be done. The pizza was good but if you want fresh mushrooms you won’t find them here, they use canned. All of us felt the pizzas could have used a touch more time in the oven to finish the cheese.

A very nice selection of craft brews!
We tried 4 of them and our favs were Reigning Blood and School Milkshake.

There is a raised band stand in side and spacious outdoor patio with a nice view of the river.

This appears to be an old factory and it’s cool inside. The wooden floor must have 1000’s of stories and the exposed brick and electrical motors are awesome. You’ll be able to see the brewing vessels both upstairs and thru an in floor window exposing the basement.

I recently visited the PetSkull Brewing Company at 1015 Buffalo St, in Manitowoc, WI. After visiting downtown Manitowoc, I stepped into the Brewery and pulled up a seat and enjoyed my afternoon here. I sampled several of the beer made there and people watched. It's a very nice building and had an outdoor seating area where bands could perform. It's a good place to visit and worth another visit.

I like the location of this brewery, and the outdoor patio is fantastic. There seems to be a lot of live music too! I liked all the beers I sampled. The lime and salt lager was my favorite. Unfortunately i stopped in 20m before closing time. I chugged my flight and got out of there before even the last of the patrons, but i assume going right before close is what created a less than ideal experience. The staff seemed annoyed and the place was dirty. Couldn’t find a clean spot to sit. The beer was alright. Nothing that stood out as the best craft beer i’ve ever had. The environment was fine. I liked the music. I would perhaps go again at a better window of time, but i wasn’t impressed by any means.

Went there today 11-18-23. I met the owner and complimented him on a really nice looking bar. I told him I was never there before and asked him about a few beers. He said it's almost nine o'clock and at this time of night we only serve short beers. So I picked out a beer and said give me two of these. They were 4oz. and this fool charged me $8. This is one of my favorite breweries period.
I often make the trip 30 minutes out of town to go here. The staff and ownership are wonderful. The beer is great and there is so much entertainment.

Three bands in the same week is not uncommon. They're very well set up for music here. They have a great outside space for summer time and they have a really nice stage setup in the winter time. It makes it very versatile for bands to play at.

I've enjoyed watching many bands here and been there many times.

The bar food is on point and often has specific event based foods. They have some culinary talents here and used to have a full service menu. They retain those abilities and apply them as specific events and with the bar food they put out.

This is a stop not to be missed.

Victoria and Landon deserve 10 stars for going above and beyond for me last weekend. My friend's last name is Schnitzka, & his nickname is Schnitzky. I drove 2hrs to get beer and apparel with his name on it for his birthday, and the staff at Petskull dug out a ladder to get the last L available for me. Thank you for helping me make his birthday special, he was over the moon excited.

I gave him a Schnitzky beer in a coozie, he tasted it without checking the brand and was immediately impressed. He loves German beers, and when I told him about the Schnitzky callout at the bar, he said "We HAVE to go there!". I suspect you'll see us soon 😉

The food was great, unique and made to order.
However, when I asked for a slice of lemon for their Hefewiesen they refused. They had lemon for the fish dishes, so it was not that they did not have it. Some rule they had and after dumping $45 bucks, that just seems simply rude to the guests. I'd pay extra if that was offered. I guess the customer is not always right at the Petskull. Had I gotten my slice, this would be a 5 star review.

First time visit, When you enter grab a menu and find a seat. When ready then go to the bar and order your food and drink. You get your beer and a token with a number on it to put on your table so the server can find you to bring your food. Service was quick. I am not an expert on cajun food but what I had was really good. I had the Mighty Mick and my wife had the Muffalata. Large portions. Didn't try it this time but the half pound pretzel looked amazing. if your a beer person this is your place. Large selection for any taste. Excellent brew pub. Wide variety of styles on tap - everything I tried was good. Gumbo was excellent, as were the tots and okra (never expected to get fried okra in WI, let alone really good fried okra). Looking forward to my next visit.

Great food, including many gluten-free options! Great atmosphere in an historic building with tons of character! Great beer selection! My only suggestion is to add a cider or two for us gluten-free folks. Not all of us like seltzer or wine. Will definitely keep coming back!!

I took a random visit to manitowoc with my onewheel. Came across this place while riding. Charged up and tried their Blueberry lemonade there, real tasty. Need to come back to try more of their beer and food options.

Typical micro brew. Has like 20 microw brews on tap. Nice outdoor patio. My friends and I wanted to have a cigar and a few beers, but even outside is non-smoking unless you go to a certain area with no seating on the other side. The bar a block away has a decent outdoor patio you can smoke on. So we took our business there.

Went here 2/26 for the Marti Gras day. Place does not have enough seating for something like this. It is seat yourself, then go to the bar to order drinks and food. But when people are sitting there for 2+ hours, don't expect to order food and sit down and eat. Food itself is new since first time there, it is better than average. Beer is expensive in my opinion. $6 a pint, where a block away you can get mixed drinks for $5 a pint.

I was disappointed that this was my first time there. Great atmosphere, lots of great tasting brew to choose from, the the pop-up menu had us wanting to come try more food.

We had a private tour this morning. Paul Hoffman, the owner, said he was testing it out on us. By all means go for it! It was an amazing tour! I appreciated Paul's enthusiasm, humor and knowledge and I learned a lot! And the beer? My sample at the end was amazing. Petskull is a fantastic addition to the downtown Manitowoc location as well as the community. I highly recommend you stop in. I look forward to more to come.

Came here right before the parade on Wednesday night. Excellent beer selection and variety. Great bartenders. The outside area had a couple fire pits, which is nice because we love to sit outside with our pup!

Outstanding microbrewery with great tasting beers in a roomy rustic building. The new location provides a very nice ambiance for enjoying their extensive range of beers.

A five-beer flight (or two) is a great way to experience the concoctions they brew. Order at the bar and sit there or find a table. Highly recommend.

Walked in bartender was serving 2 pints to another patron sat down at the bar ordered a superior beer bartender said its almost closing time we are only doing short pours i said whats a short pour he said 5 oz i said how much time do i have he said 15 min i said i can drink a pint in 15 min he served me a 5 oz drank it and had another all in all i had 10 oz of beer for $8 when i could've had a a pinnt for the same price totally disappointed
