My mom, whos the cooker, my dad the owner—We love working here. Sometimes I don’t, sometimes I do! Food is amazing, my mother makes delicious meals. I love the pad thai, Drunken noodle, Phò, Spicy Crispy noodle, Red curry, YUM. I recommend those if you want to try here.

Me and my family try the best they can to make good reputation for here. I don’t work as much but you’ll see me working on Friday, Saturday. reminder—If you see my face looking mad or pissy don’t complain about it because its how my natural face is 😓🤣 I try the best I can to smile and show some sweet face on me. Sometimes I don’t 🫩

My second time there, third time for Wife. Enjoyed the freshness of the vegetables and the quality of the protein available. We live in Milwaukee and use to travel to Racine for Thai food, but that place closed a year ago and my Wife found this place recently. We will make this a monthly ritual to come down to Kenosha for our Thai food.

This restaurant is not family friendly or dine in friendly. The server was a girl with a nasty attitude. She was immediately pissed off after seeing a big group. Our friends had children with them & they were playing inside. She came in very aggressive way and signaled with her finger on mouth to tell me to get the kids quiet. No please or nothing. Literally there was no one else inside the restaurant other than us. If you have children avoid this place as they don’t like children and you shouldn’t be treated this way as Children will not behave like an adult. Later she bought all plates/cutlery and told me its for the entire table and left, like I was suppose to get up give everyone their plates/cutlery. For a moment I got confused who was the server. Bartender notice her behavior and he then gave everyone their plates. I did let him know about her attitude. And most of all their food was not even good. Fried rice tasted nothing like fried rice and it looked they used frozen veggies. Shrimp paradise and tom yum soup was really bad. So overall spend your money on elsewhere for better food and good service.

Definitely a Keeper! My wife and I had an early dinner there on a Thursday at about 3:30pm. The first impression was good: the decoration was elegant without overdoing it. A well-stocked bar stands on the right, with seven tables lining the outside windows (all well-shaded from the setting sun). Two large TVs above the bar and on the back wall provide soft music alongside silent entertainment. Blue plastic sheets complement the white linen tablecloths, aside from woven placemats. Seating is comfortable and there’s plenty of room (all tables seat 4). There was only another table aside ours. Chan was our very gracious and attentive server. The restaurant's name is pronounced "Pah-Kao," meaning a festive family meal.

Ice-water was served immediately upon our sitting at the table. We ordered a Pha Kao Thai appetizers platter alongside Thai iced tea and a glass a Cabernet Sauvignon (Château St. Michel). We recommend all three choices which were served promptly. We liked the folded paper flowers atop the straws. This was a nice touch. Few restaurants in this category go through this extra detail and effort. For entrees we ordered Pad Ginger Chicken and Chicken Drunken Noodles. These two were perfect. We asked for “spicy hot” and, by Gosh, got what were wished for. I’d rate this as “runny nose spicy.” Portion sizes are adequate. We both took part of our dinner back home. For dessert, we enjoyed the delicious mango dish with cinnamon ice cream over a layer of sweet, sticky rice, and a few cookies. Empty dishes were taken away as dinner went on. It's a detail that many restaurants fail to pay attention too, and we do appreciate the extra effort. All of this came under $100 for two, including tax (tip’s up to you of course).

I’ve eaten at Thai restaurants across the States. I’ve read the Yelp and Google reviews for this restaurant. The not so good reviews are mostly not regarding the food, though legitimate.
I just gotta say the food is terrific, the atmosphere is very nice, and the service is exceptional.
It’s not downtown and in Kenosha, that’s a negative but you Have to drive just to Hwy 31 and you have great Thai food. Give it a chance and tell your friends.

My family just ate here for dinner and it was amazing. The service was nice and attentive. The food was so good. Tried this place for the first time tonight and wasn’t very impressed. My food was pretty bland, though my partner enjoyed his. It was odd there was no air conditioning on an 88 degree day. It was super hot inside, but had a fan blowing in the back of the restaurant. When I was handed my credit card slip, it stuck to the bar top because the bar top was sticky. Hopefully they’re just getting the kinks out of starting a new place. The staff was nice.

I loved coming here because it’s a nice family vibe. I came here before and had a great experience. Today my visit was horrible. We come in and the young girl working the front doesn’t even say anything to us, just gives us a blank stare and says just 4? We say yes and she seats us and walks away. Within the first minute I’m already contemplating if we should just go. Then she takes her time and finally brings waters, then walks away again. Horrible mean look on her face. Trust me I get it you’re young and probably don’t want to be at work, but like .. come on. Then we wait a good 10 mins and she starts taking other people’s order that came AFTER us. People like that ruin it for establishments like this. Felt so unwelcomed. Trying to support a local spot and that’s what we get in return? I was young once too, but being rude to guest that are coming to spend money in your establishment is such a no no. I don’t know if I ever want to come back after this , I’ve never walked out of an establishment before so I was shocked today was the first day.

I chose to fly in to Milwaukee airport and drive to Chicago specifically to stop and eat here because the food is that amazing. The sign on the door says they are open until 9:30. However at 8:15 when I arrived I was told that they were closing at 830 and unless I wanted takeout I couldn’t eat there. I told them I was traveling and couldn’t do takeout but it didn’t matter. No food for me. So very disappointing!

I went here to eat. The soup was not like other authentic Thai soups I have eaten, the Tom Yum soup lacked lemongrass, it has tomatoes, and the mushrooms were cut too big, no cilantro was present in the dish, and only 2 overcooked shrimps with the tail on. I had to order white rice separately which should come with the soup. The drink I ordered looked like a half of shot of rum and the rest of the cup filled with soda. The spring rolls were okay. But the mango sticky rice was amazing!!! The customer service is non existent, no hello how can I help you, no welcomes at all, and no thank you for coming, come again please. Based on this experience I won't be eating here again I will be taking a ride to Illinois where the customer service is amazing all the time and you are truly welcomed. There is a place on Green Bay Road in North Chicago that is Amazing( Tokyo Saim), Schaumburg, and Chicago that are authentic Thai restaurants.

We live in St Louis, MO and come to Kenosha, WI 1-2 times a year to visit family. We always look for restaurants with outstanding food. Pha Khao Thai-Lao restaurant caught my eyes while I was searching for a place to eat. It has very good reviews, and it has what we wanted to eat. So we went in for dinner, and we were not disappointed. We have eaten at many Thai restaurants, and this was one of the best. We ordered Pad Thai, Sausage, Papaya salad, Pho noodle soup and mango sticky rice. Every dish was tasty. It is also a nice place. We were wondering why we did not find this place before. it is because it has just opened for about one year. We will be back next time we are in Kenosha.

So delicious!! My husband and I came in for lunch and everything we got was so so good. We got the Thai egg rolls, Tom Kha soup, shrimp pad Thai and manamasa (sp?) curry with chicken and everything was 10/10. The peanut sauce was next level too. And our server was excellent! She was super friendly, prompt, and gave us recommendations based on our tastes. And the bathroom was super clean and decorated nicely! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I tried this place tonight on a whim and it was wonderful! I'm currently writing this review (which I don't normally do) as we are enjoying our meal because we feel it is that good. The atmosphere was very calm with music playing in the background and the whole ambience was relaxed and comfortable, our server greeted us right away and can best be described as a sweetheart and most of all the food was amazing. We used to have a favorite Thai restaurant but this restaurant has definitely taken it's place! We'll be back again and again after that!

My husband and I had a lunch date here. The food was wonderful! We started with the Thai egg rolls, and they were so fresh and hot we actually had to wait for them to cool before we could eat them. They were absolutely delicious! Our meals were also so good.
When we got our starters water they had these adorable roses in top made from the straw wrappers. My glass of water was never empty. They refilled that before I could even ask for more.
The only problem we had was our meats got swapped in our orders but as soon as that was noticed it was remade and the wait was extremely short on that.

Stopped in for the first time today for a light lunch.
My fiance and I split a papaya salad ( large portion, we took leftovers home!) , satay chicken, and a mango sticky rice.
The papaya salad was spicy, crunchy, and very fresh tasting, the satay chicken had a great grilled flavor, and the mango sticky rice was amazing. Not too sweet.
The Thai iced tea tasted very good with the papaya salad.
The place was clean, service prompt and professional.
We will definitely be back to try some entrees soon !

My wife and I are in for lunch, got 2 thai beers, pad Thai, and spicy basil rice with shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious. The rice had the right amount of spice that made you come back for seconds. The pad Thai has a vinegar note that is very pleasant. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice with ice cream and holy cow was out kinda blown. Such an odd mixture of ingredients but it works in so many ways, absolutely delicious!

The food service and serving size was more than plenty with us taking leftovers home. This place has only been open for 4 months but they are killing it. We are no longer going to Pimmys which is overpriced and not as tasty.

The only con was I'm not sure if the air conditioning was working the day we went but it was quite hot and steamy in the restaurant.

Will never come back to this establishment. This evening I went in with my boyfriend to the counter to order food to go. The man behind the bar didn't acknowledge us once mind you several people have come in and gotten menus the man goes and sits back down doesn't ask if he can help us and ignores us the whole time. He saw us so it wasn't a mistake. We finally asked are you gonna help us? He then proceeded to ignore us and just looked back down at what he was doing.
