I've been a fan of Philly's for decades and was disappointed when they weren't in business a few years back. The bread here is truly some of the best you'll get on a sandwich. Philly's is the one stop I need to make every time I'm in town, and I highly recommend them.

The gyro and philly cheesesteak subs are amazing. Also i’ve heard people rave about the potato soup. Great selection of drinks and chips too. All the food is consistently fresh and the place is always very clean and smells clean. Atmosphere isn’t the best but that’s okay, I usually just grab and go.

Delicious!! Had a seafood sub. Thinly sliced onions and green peppers.. attention to the thin veggie slices is appreciated. Was going to eat half now and half later but couldn't stop. Love the 4" sub option as well.! Whether for kids or seniors or adults needing a quick bite, such a smart option.🤌will be back!

If you are looking for a nice sandwich and recieve good value per dollar this is the place. It was a bit busy while we stopped in but was well worth the wait. The things I noticed that most chains(subway, etc) don't watch for was quality ingredients in the well along with a clean work area. None of the lettuce was wilted and the ingredients area was very clean. Definitely will be back.

Terrible Service and Poor Hygiene – Won't Be Back

I had my first experience at Philly's Subs, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The service was awful right from the start. When my friend asked about cheese options, the man making her sub didn’t say a word—he just jabbed his finger at the glass and grunted. Then, things got worse. The girl putting the toppings on my friend’s sub blew her nose and didn’t wash her hands before continuing to wrap the sandwich. To top it off, she didn’t wash her hands after handling the food and went straight to put on gloves for my sandwich.

Honestly, the lack of hygiene and poor service made the entire experience disgusting and not worth the risk. I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places that offer better food and cleanliness.

Came from Rhinelander to run some errands and decided to stop for a sandwich. Definitely made the right decision as the subs were amazing! Hubby had the Philly Cheese Steak and I had the Gyro sub. Both were delish and the girls preparing the subs were very knowledgeable and very friendly! We will definitely be back to try some of the other sandwiches! 🙂 Keep up the good work! 👍

My wife and I have visited Philly's twice in the past week. 4 different subs, all delicious. The mushroom brie bisque is excellent. The bread is so delicious, eat your heart out other sub places.

The mushroom bisque soup was awesome. The wheat bread was soft and flavorful - tasted fresh and was not an after thought.

So happy Philly's is back! The bread is the same and amazing! Fresh ingredients and nice staff, only improvement would be to get a TV or music playing in there! Best subs in Wausau. I even bought a bag of bread!
