It's sad, another example of a business having a good product and bad lazy service. The food is good but it doesn't make up for poor service and there are many taco trucks.
I arrived and ordered my food. I was given a pager and told to wait. Waited more than a half hour. Went to check on my food wondering what was taking so long. They tell me oh your food has been done.
I could understand if they were busy, something getting missed but I was the only one there!! If this is the detail they are able to achieve, they I don't want to think their food safety practices.

We recently booked one of their trucks for our wedding and it was even better than we expected! We have previously had their food so we knew it would be a hit and everyone loved the Korean Beef Bowl (almost too much, to the point the rice kept running low). Everytime I go, they greet me with such warmth and hospitality especially if the owners are operating the truck that day. I've literally never had bad food there. Mustve eaten there more than 30 times, and not to say they haven't gotten something wrong here or there, mistakes happen. I can overlook mistakes when your food quality is top notch. Every item I've had is stellar. I'd put this taco truck against any in the world and I'm sure they come out on top cause that Kroean BBq taco is to die for. Love the food here. It is always quite delicious, and authentic. We have had the gyros, chicken and steak burritos, and the Korean barbecue tacos and the street corn. All are amazing. Really great spread of options for a good truck. There are actually quite a few vegan and gluten free options to choose from.

I had the three vegan tacos- the tofu and avocado one was my favorite. There was also a bean one that I thought was black beans but was refried beans. It wasn't my favorite but the flavors were still great. The Korean taco though was absolutely delicious. My husband had a barbacoa burrito and said it was phenomenal.

We also got one side of rice and one side of elote corn (which can also be made vegan). I would not get either again. The rice was mushy, and I make better Mexican rice at home. The elote corn was fine, but it seemed pricey at $5 for what you got.

Those two sides aside (ha) we were overall happy with the food and would go get burritos and tacos again. You can order online for a quicker pick up, or you can order there for a short wait.

Tried Phoenix Mobile at the Waukesha Farmers market. I am usually fairly wary about food trucks, but just biked 10 miles and was famished. My son had the shrimp tacos and I had the gyro. It was my first time trying Phoenix Mobile Grill and it did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious! What I love is that you have the opportunity to put in an online order for pick up, it made the experience that much better and quicker!
I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and the Mexican corn without the chili powder.

Dude!!! So good!!! The prices are on point with any other option you may have. The food however is outstanding. The gyros were great, well seasoned compared to other options in the area and much more flavor. The tacos though...these are amazing. The salsa Verde is top notch IMO, with hints of cilatro and garlic, the salsa Roja is fabulous as well. There is no skimping on flavor here. I am only saddened I have not tried this place previously. Always drive by the truck and always unsure about it as I'm not usually looking to stop for food, well that was obviously a mistake. The food there is probably some of the best food and drinks I've had. Korean BBQ tacos are unreal and will definitely become a more routine customer after tonight. Street corn was amazing and extremely flavorful.

Everything they make is spectacular! We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and loved everything we have eaten. My husband found this food truck when I was on a strict diet while nursing my son with food allergies (dairy and soy allergies). It is near impossible to go out to restaurants when you’re avoiding certain foods. He read the story and background of the owners of this truck so we gave it a try. We have always been huge fans of tacos, so we tried the steak and pastor tacos. Of course they were amazing and allergy friendly, as we requested. We spoke with the owner and she knew exactly what we could safely eat on their menu. I am now able to eat normal again but my now toddler still has allergies. We are so happy to have Phoenix mobile grill as an option for dinner because we know and trust that their food will be safe for our son and that it will be the most delicious food we eat. It’s hard to limit our favorite items to a list because I would tell you the entire menu but our usual go to items are tacos (Korean beef, steak, Al pastor, and shrimp) and their gyros are amazing as well! I recommend this place to everyone because they are so yummy and the service is great! But especially for allergy friendly food- you really can’t beat this place!

We have ordered here likely a dozen times now. EVERYTHING is dynamite! I don't know how anything they make could be bad. Every taco is almost mind blowingly good. Service always with a smile. This is my first time trying Phoenix mobile grill. By looking at the reviews, I was shocked to see a food truck with a 5 star rating in Waukesha. I also visited their online website to get a look at the menu before arriving. I was amazed by the unique dishes they make but also common Mexican dishes other food trucks have. Actions speak louder than words, so I had to see for myself what the Waukesha community is talking about. For takeout, I ordered, 10 carne asada tacos, 2 elotes, 2 coconut horchatas & 1 horchata for myself, my mother and brother. The tacos have an excellent taste. The tortillas are big, meat is tender, well cooked, and well served. Not to mention, they do give you enough limes and salsas!! I do like how they noted the drinks with what it is. We definitely enjoyed the coconut horchata more than the original. 10/10. Lastly, the corn is delicious. It has lime added on before so it blends in well with everything else. I give this place a 10/10 because they know what they’re doing! My mom and brother also give this place a 10/10. this will be my favorite spot to get tacos from now on and the beverages. Superb!

I agree with all the 5 star reviews, this is THE BEST FOOD TRUCK I've ever ordered from. Today I got a steak burrito. I cannot explain how they got that tortilla so golden and yet it was soft, cut in 2 pieces and the burrito was juicy and delicious. I might seriously drive 20 min to get there for dinner tomorrow! Yum! I had to try the Korean taco 🌮 due to rave reviews and it did not disappoint. A little sweet, a hint of spice, and a whole lot of savory flavor bomb…delicious. I found myself a new favorite lunch spot! The extremely friendly lady suggested their Korean tacos and also said their gyros were delicious - I'm a huge fan of gyros so I went with that and I was not disappointed! Huge portions of meat (make sure to get extra tzatziki sauce which was also perfect) - the feta cheese blocks was a nice touch and I appreciate how they Sliced the onions nice and thin!
