I had gotten 2 bowls of loaded baked potato soup and a sandwich. My total came out to be $30. Considering the rating, I assumed $30 was appropriate. But everything was bland. Sandwich was decent. But the soup had absolutely no flavor. You’re better off buying canned soup for 50 cents at Walmart. I called back offering to bring back my soup for a refund or to substitute for a different soup, but was declined. Will not be buying from here again. Food and Service was terrible.

Good food, great service! We like to do mini family vacations (a day or two) in La Crosse. This is a great place to stop for lunch. We stopped in Friday and Saturday for lunch. We got the last parking spot Friday, but Saturday we had to park a half block away. But there were enough tables both days.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring a serious matter to your attention regarding incidents of racial discrimination and physical threats towards one of our hardworking employees. During our recent visit to the premises, we were deeply disturbed by the inappropriate remarks and aggressive behavior displayed by both customers and some staff members.

It was disheartening to witness customers and a few staff members getting extremely close to the targeted employee and even swinging at him while he was diligently performing his duties of serving food. Moreover, we strongly suspect that someone may have intentionally stabbed or poked him with an object. These acts of physical aggression are unacceptable and pose a grave danger to his safety.

In addition to the alarming behavior from customers and staff, we were equally appalled by the dialogue from one of the head store managers. The inappropriate remarks made by the manager caused extreme distress to the hardworking employee, to the point where he cried multiple times. Of particular concern was a statement made by the manager, uttering the phrase "Aim at Traxz" in a random and seemingly fictionist manner. This raises serious red flags and necessitates immediate attention.

We urge you to carefully monitor the premises, especially through the use of security cameras, to gather evidence of these incidents. The mental health of the black targeted employee is severely affected by the ongoing racist treatment and it is imperative that we take immediate action to ensure his safety and wellbeing, as his life may be in danger.

During our visit, we witnessed several customers collectively threatening the employee while casting glances towards him and approaching him from behind as he went about his work. These disturbing actions not only cast a negative light on the company's reputation but also create an uncomfortable environment for all involved.

Please address this matter urgently and take appropriate disciplinary measures against the individuals involved. Compensation for the targeted black hard worker. It is crucial that we demonstrate our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where all employees are treated with equal respect and dignity.

We implore you to prioritize the safety and well-being of our hardworking employee and take immediate steps to rectify this situation. We will closely monitor the progress made in resolving this matter and expect a prompt response outlining the actions taken.

Regardless of the culture of the business and delicious food. The experience was uncomfortable to hear and to see how they interact with the black staff member.

I was traveling through La Crosse for a night on business, looking for dinner at a local spot in town and stopped into a few places... but wasn't feeling their vibe.

However, luckily my journey it led me to Pickerman's! There were 4 friendly and helpful employees ready to serve me a good meal.

They suggested the Broccoli Cheddar soup and it is fantastic. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed the Cajun Chicken sandwich.

They graciously accommodated our bus full of high school soccer players and we're extremely easy to book a catering order of 3 inch subs. Even though we originally planned to have the food delivered, we called an hour ahead and decided to dine in. Staff was flexible and extremely kind.
