We picked up a to go order last week. It was our first time here.

Steak, taco dinner: everything you would expect. The steak was super tender, which was a huge plus. However, the beans that came on the side were extremely runny.

Chorizo burrito: this thing was massive! My husband and I just stared at it, made eye contact, and started laughing. However, it was very good.

Chicken Quesadilla dinner: also quite large, as this was for my 6 year old daughter. Very good but very juicy.

Would definitely order again.

Place is clean. Definitely less homey than the other location on 3 mile.sat down, meal doesn't come with chips and salsa. The consomme in my birria ramen was a lot more watery. The tacos weren't full. Sour cream, salsa, everything costs, compared to other location. Wish the experience was consistent, but I will be choosing the three mile location every time now.

I came here cause he other location was closed, but I will be patient from now on. The food here isn't nearly as tasty. The birria was too lean here in my opinion. This experience felt more like fast food. Wasn't served water, even.

You also have to order at the front, and not from your table sitting down. I'm supposed to tip before service is given?

Nice place with great food. We stopped in as “passer bus” and we will be back. Portions are generous and prices seemed fair. We saw that you could dine in or they have some outdoor tables, if you’d like to hang and catch some rays or a summer breeze.
We were surprised by the size and stuffings of each dish. Food was prepared fresh and pretty quickly.
Everything looked clean and there was a nice variety for the size of the place. We will be back and you should try it too.

Today I ordered 3 dinners. I did not get the rice and beans on one plate. They wanted me to come back in subzero weather to prove I didn't get rice and beans. I told them I would not because it's freezing out. They didn't offer any other option than to bring it back. The employee knew exactly what was missing when I called and told me the kitchen didn't get the dinner order but the cashier sure did. The food is always good though. Just check your order before you leave.

Their tacos are a bit pricey but they’re good. I’ve only tried the hard shell ground beef(American style) and always add sour cream to the tacos and jalapeños on the side. They never disappoint, just make sure you order them fresh. I usually get 4 ground beef tacos. I don’t get the meal with rice and beans and still it’s usually around $13 in comparison with another local restaurant (Mi Jacalito) where I can get 5 ground beef tacos WITH sour cream for around $10. To be fair the Mi Jacilito has been around longer. As far as taste goes I’d say Picos taste a fresher. They put a lot of meat and cheese in the tacos which I can appreciate. I would eat them again.

I had an online order which they forgot half of and I had to drive all the way back to get the rest of my order only to sit down and chomp on a piece of plastic. I called to complain about my overall experience and was passed around on the phone. Only to be asked to drive back and provide the food with the plastic. Normally I would have gone back but I already had to go back for the half of my order they forgot. I asked if I could send a picture but they didn’t answer and kept asking me to drive back. I was then told they could void my order and give me my money back but then told me they couldn’t actually do that but could give me credit for the elotes fries for tomorrow night. I’m disappointed because besides the plastic and half the food missing it was pretty good.

First time going there today, my sister is a die hard fan but I was not, the place in general was great, great place, great server, the short petite lady was wonderful, the only problem was the food, you can have the best atmosphere and service but that only equals 1 star for me the other 4 are for the food, it came out Luke warm, and the steak was the driest meat I’ve ever had in my life, I’ve had beef jerky with more moisture, I don’t know if it was just the last of the batch of meat they made up that’s been sitting there a while but it was hard and dry, my sister got the birria and it looked juicy so I’m thinking it was just old dried out meat from the morning or something atleast I hope that’s the case and not from the previous day cause that was anything but fresh, maybe next time I’ll try again but that was over 25 dollars in dry tacos I was not happy or satisfied with this visit not a great first impression, I hate giving bad reviews if it’s better next time I’ll take this down

This was my first and last time going to pico's. First of all the staff seemed a little overwhelmed and all over the place. It took them a while to take my order and they forgot one of my items so I had to go back and get it. I really should have been smart and try a small portion of food before going all out and placing a big order. I ordered $77 worth of food which was a bad decision. In my opinion it was way too much money because the food was average at best. The steak taco's had greasy shells and the meat was hard and they barely put any cilantro or lettuce on them.The beans had no flavor and neither did the rice. The best thing that we ordered was the birria ramen. The california burrito was alright but we will not be returning. I wish I could have gotten my money back.The staff was really young and seemed like they couldn't keep up with the orders. I'll stick to El Pueblito for my taco's! Everyone's experience is different so I'm just telling everyone how mine went so if you want to try them by all means do so. I'm not trying to be negative I wish Pico's the best but they won't be getting my business ever again!

Great tacos, I get the birria tacos. If its the end of the day you might get the fattier bits of birria that have fallen to the bottom, but usually its fantastic mid-day. I also usually have to ask for more limes and napkins as they tend to forget when you're going through the drive thru. Reasonably priced. This area doesn't have a ton of great, affordable taco joints so this is a nice place to have when you just need a quick taco or 3.

I go here several times a week for lunch. I love when they have gauc sauce. You'd think if people are coming because they love a particular product they'd make sure they have it to offer. I ask every day and some evening if they have it but they continue to say no. Ok so say you don't make it anymore then !

Um yes ... then I noticed I got only tacos ... I said I ordered a taco dinner . Another cashier tried to come and help add rice and beans to my already charged card..NEW CASHIER HAD ATTITUDE . They then charged my card an additional $3.15 but no utensils ... again I asked for utensils ...

I am writing regarding the service at the Pico’s on Spring Street. I called and spoke with a young, very nasty girl. My order was not complete when I got home ( this is the third time this has happened). I was told that they no longer give credits and that I would have to come back within a day to pick up our rice and beans. I asked if she could write my name down and I could get the rice and beans the next time we placed an order. She told me that I would have to do this in the next day. I ordered the 3 beef hard shell American street tacos that were $9. I then upgraded the order for $3 more it included rice, beans and a soda. The tacos were ok. I felt the beef could use more seasoning. I ordered nachos and cheese as well. It came with a nice size bag of nachos, however I was extremely disappointed with the side of cheese. It was a small little cup, definitely not enough for the bag of chips. A larger amount of cheese would have been great!

I have supported this since the pandemic swallowed the globe. Even when I lived in a apartment in Caledonia. But this establishment on 3 mile is just. 5 minutes from my house and this establishment is a extension from the 3 mile location.
My favorite item is the flautas. Chicken flautas. Meaty and good sized flatutas in crispy tortillas packed with flavor. This is the meal you need when you want a real Mexican meal.

The quesabirria and steak taco was very very good but I was pretty disappointed in the queso and chips, for $6 I got a small reheated side of cheese mix that was not a normal queso blanco consistency like the girl described it as and had a little too much spice for my taste. So listen this place is decent dissatisfied with my steak fries but that’s what I get for not asking questions and not going with my first mind next time I’ll go to latapatia. The margarita was just a slushy but good not like typical Mexican margaritas. May or may not return.

I ordered the chicken street tacos and chips and queso. The chicken in the tacos was a little on the salty side, but I thought the tacos were still good. I was disappointed by the queso and chips. The chips were very hard and the queso had an odd consistency, like it seemed like cotija cheese was mixed in with a liquid queso blanco and the cotija cheese just didn't mix in well so it tasted gritty. I didn't know that refills were included with the meal, so I ended up throwing my cup away and then learned after doing that I could have gotten a refill, but the staff were nice and gave me a new beverage. The restaurant and food was just okay to me; some people love it here but I just thought it was okay.

The food is pretty good to be honest however the the prices are fair for the most part but that's not the reason this place has 3 stars from me the reason is that 1st of all the people who work there are kind of rude I gave them my name and they gave me a strange and mean look cuz I'm a Trans woman and the 2nd reason is the damn portions are unbelievable I ordered a breakfast borito from there and yes it was good but It was so big I couldn't even cut it let alone fit it in my mouth

The food was pretty good. Some of the menu items were quite unique, like fries in barretos not my cup of tea, but to each their own. Staff was nice the atmosphere felt Sterile and chilly.

Came here because we love the Picos Taco truck but the restaurant was a bummer. Order was taken wrong over the drive through so I had to go in. Was charged more than i should have been... $4 for a taco instead of the $2.50 to add on a taco to a meal that I originally asked for. The people did not understand and kept saying you can only get the 2.50 taco if you get the meal..... which I already did. By the time the messed up part of the order was ready 15 min later the original part of the order was already soggy and gross. So after all was said and done I spent almost $40 for soggy tacos and crunchy old rice.

Have been frequenting the north side Picos for a few years now. Thought I give the new location a try. The loaded steak fries were really good! Salsa is much better at this location. Good luck with the new restaurant!

So I bragged about this location. But after last friday on 9/30/22. I got the worst service. I asked a question and the employee must have misinterpreted my question. I asked why she is serving 2 other drinks. But has to ask the cook to serve my beer. Granted I was told a person has to be 18 to serve . So why would she ask the cook to serve me. . I will NO LONG BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO THIS PLACE .
