I came in to get something to eat and was told I could sit wherever I wanted to since I was dining in. I sit down then the woman working the back counter asked me to move because they wanted to leave the table for more people. If that was the case then why not state that instead of getting comfortable just be asked to move. So I decided to go to the Charcoal place a couple places down and give them my business instead. Never will I step foot in this establishment again

We like it so much we tell all of our friends to go here. It is a small place and can get busy but it's worth the wait . They also have a few Bakery items for sale. Employees are usually friendly.

Kind of rough service, great food!

We got there and there were a lot of open tables, one of the wait staff told us to seat ourselves. We did, choosing a 2-top. A woman came and got our drink order and told us our actual waitress would be with us in a minute. I feel like we were in the middle of a fight over who’s table it was. We waited and 3 tables filled in around us. A waitress showed up, was very friendly and chatty to all of them and then turned to look at us and say “someone already got your drink order, right?” We agreed and asked a menu question. She came back with all the other tables drinks, took their food orders and then came back and got our food order. Someone else finally brought us water, then coffee. She brought the other tables their food, Eventually, a different person brought our food. The other tables were all paid and gone with friendly chatter by the time our bill was dropped off with a “meet you at the front.” She didn’t.

It was delicious. The veggie breakfast burrito was probably the best I’ve ever had, the potatoes, the cornbread pancake were great. The specialty coffee was really good. The service really made it uncomfortable.

Excellent food. Great cornbread pancakes & fresh corned beef hash. My wife's only complaint was the latte she ordered was actually a cappuccino, according to her as she used to work in a local coffee shop before we moved to Oshkosh. As for me I couldn't tell the difference.

The people here are so friendly and accommodating. We had a dog with us so they set up their outdoor patio for us and was very flexible. Their homemade kombucha made even my boyfriend who doesn't care for those things say it's good. They gave generous samples of the kombucha when I was having a hard time deciding.

This restaurant surprised us a little bit because we saw Mediterranean on the description online but it's more of a hybrid Mediterranean they serve quesadillas and mac and cheese as well as cheeseburgers and some other stuff but they are definitely using some Mediterranean ingredients. The hot spiced chai is incredible you will love it. The staff members seem to be either family members or possibly from the same ethnic background they are very nice people and they definitely have great food and drinks here. You will have an awesome time be warned it stays packed around lunch hour because for good reason it is one of the best places. We got there before noon and the food came out very quick too.

This is wonderful small cafe with a great breakfast and lunch menu plus 3-4 daily specials on the chalkboard. Both of us went 'south of the border' with our selections last week. My chicken tortilla soup was perfect! Not too spicy but rich with flavor. My cousin ordered breakfast burritos and raved about them. We also bought a large Scotcheroo bar as we checked out...a little something sweet to enjoy later. Each bar was about the size of 1/6th of a 13x9 pan, nice and thick...and only $4.00. It's no wonder it's one of those places that I choose to return to again and again.

My husband picked this place out to try for lunch, and I am so glad he did! The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing.

My husband ordered eggs benedict and commented that the dish is the epitome of what an eggs benedict should be. He also got a side of mac & cheese which was yummy.

I ordered the cornbread pancakes with chocolate chips which, with the local maple syrup, was heavenly. I had a side of the potatoes which were amazing as well.

Our baby girl greatly enjoyed getting to share bites of the food!

Each of our dishes came with a little special salad. I’d LOVE to know what my grapes were coated in.

We arrived after the lunch hour & found the service slow, took waitress a long time to notice new customers .
We ordered the Baked?? Mac& cheese dish which you can add on chicken, pork or Florentine. We tried the chicken & they did add on plenty of chicken BUT I find it hard to believe the dish was baked.
It was more like a watered down casserole & it lacked flavor .
It came with great corn bread & a cup of soup .

Hands down one of the best places to eat in the area! The team is amazing and truly cares, always attentive and friendly. The standout menu item is the cornbread pancakes! Not your ordinary cafe menu! Breakfast and lunch only. We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. There are plants of coffee, tea and cocoa choice along with joi Kombucha that is brewed at the cafe. The drink menu is extensive and has organic selections. Pilora’s also offers Take N Bake meals, catering and a food truck.

The lunch menu has burgers, wraps, salads and signature items. We chose the Marinated Tomato Pesto Grilled cheese and the Garbanzo and Toasted Pecan Salad.

There are so many unique and yummy selections you’ll want to come back many times.

The service was excellent and the meal was presented well and made fresh with locally sourced ingredients.

I've lived in oshkosh my whole life and for some reason never stopped in here, well today they have secured my business!!! I got the corned beef hash, expecting the stuff from the can because thats what most restaurants serve and I absolutely don't mind but this was sooooooooo amazing!!!!!! It's fresh and placed on top of piloras potatoes and let me tell you those potatoes are the best thing I've ever tasted. Mixed with the corned beef. OH MYYYYY! I'm updating my initial review because I've been back a handful of times. This place has absolutely wonderful food! The meals I've had here lately have been really-really-really good. Breakfast and lunch were deliciously tasty. And I've had good service! This is one of the better places to eat in Oshkosh. I give this place a thumbs up! My initial review is below. But I had to update with 5 stars!

I did not have good service. Granted, it was busy but it is a small place. I had a long wait to get service. And after eating there was another long wait to get the check. I had the wrap. It was good. They asked if I wanted ham or turkey in it? I said ham. That cost 4 extra bucks for a few scraps of ham tossed inside! About 16 bucks for a breakfast wrap is way to expensive and not worth it for me. The wrap was good but no way worth 16 bucks. I didn't have a good experience here and feel I paid way to much for what I got. I do not think I will ever eat here again. ☹

Amazing! I have never written a review for a restaurant before but I felt the need to do so for Pilora’s. We were looking for a place to stop right off the highway and piloras cafe had good reviews. Little did I know that this would be the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. I had the special of the day - bahn mi sandwich - and it was amazing. The depth of flavor and the freshness of the vegetables created something that I would definitely come back for. I also had an allergy and intolerance they accommodated very well for. Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very cozy and upbeat. 10/10 would recommend.

This was a first for the four of us; we went for a late breakfast after the bartender at the Roxy recommended it. What a great recommendation. The breakfast entrees were uniformly yummy, and the unusual sides were an unexpected delight for all of us. The eggs and toast are absolutely under deacribed - the freshest eggs, great breakfast potatoes, terrific jam, crispy bacon. Service was pleasant, efficient and never intrusive. First time eating here today after hearing great reviews. We agree!! Great food- I had the lobster roll which was DELICIOUS! I’ve had lobster rolls in the Boston area and didn’t think I’d ever have one as good but this one came very close. The lobster was sweet and the bun perfectly toasted. SO good!!!! The beer cheese soup was also very good.
My husband had the Turkey avocado sandwich which was also very good. Quality, fresh ingredients.
Service was friendly and fast, prices fair for the amazing quality.

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner during a Pyrotechnic event in Oshkosh that Pilora’s Cafe catered via mobile food truck.
It’s really great to meet business owners that are not only good people, but have amazing souls, and positivity!

I went to the firework show last night in Oshkosh. They were the only "Food" truck that showed up. What???? They had a line of people ordering food that was horrifically long. They had it so organized! You could even customize your order. The people that were waiting on you were smiling, friendly, just awesome customer service! They had to be stressed looking at the line of people and knowing they were the only food truck and you never knew it. They held it all together and totally stepped up.
The food was truly phenomenal as well! I will drive from Appleton to Oshkosh to eat there again!!

Lobster Benedict is an amazing dish. Quality lobster meat and a lot of it. Great flavor. The tomato and feta salad picked with it was also fantastic. Visually appeal as well

Three of us ate here for brunch when visiting Oshkosh. Glad we tried this place - food was amazing! My mom said her French toast was the best she's ever had. I had a fritatta and it was tall and fluffy, more like a strata without the bread. Delicious and full of veggies. The side potatoes were fantastic. Not sure how they do them, but maybe they have cheese in them? Marinated tomatoes and feta were fantastic too.

Place is tiny and a bit crowded. Server was efficient but seemed a little crabby. Only one unisex bathroom and it was decently clean.

Very bad service. Decided to check this place out and was very disappointed by the service. Waited about 10 minutes before anyone even greeted us or said they'd be there to take our order. After the waitress finally took our drink order, we waited another 30 mins and didn't even get our coffees nor an update as to why they were taking so long, yet the customers around us kept getting asked if they needed more drinks and got theirs within minutes.. Wonderful breakfast and staff. Visiting Oshkosh, reviews did not disappoint. Quickly seated, clean, welcoming interior, not to loud even with high ceilings. Quiche was delicious, he had steak and eggs perfectly prepared. 9 grain toast very yummy, almost bought a loaf to go. Many local ingredients yet reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Food has a weird flavor to it, my husband had the French toast, it looked strange on the plate, he took a bite and could hardly swallow it, so I tasted it and it was truly awful. I got the turkey rueban which was ok, service was poor. This was our first and last time eating here.

This is the first place that I've been to that has both a full menu and barista bar. In my experience you normally have to choose between a juicey burger or a well made latte but I found both here. They were very busy when we arrived but we were seated immediately and had our drinks ordered within minutes. My talkative toddler was a hit with the incredible wait staff and it was good vibes all around. I picked up a bit of a Mediterranean twist to their menu but there seemed to be something for any pallette of taste.

Wish they are open on Sunday’s! Who doesn’t love a delicious Sunday breakfast?! Each time I think about going here, I realize it’s Sunday and they aren’t open. Otherwise VERY good food, and the prices definitely reflect that.

Since I moved here, Pilora’s has become my favorite place to go for breakfast. From the all their delicious French toast options to their delicious breakfast hash, they have a rollercoaster of flavor they put into every dish. Please give this place your next breakfast out! 2 friends & I went there to have lunch to celebrate my birthday on Sat. OMG such good homemade food! The best French toast I’ve ever had in my life! And eggs Benedict! The best waitress ever! Also the best carrot cake for my birthday treat free was amazing! Pricey but worth it! Everyone has had to raise prices. We will definitely go back. Just wish they were open more hours. The best new place for me I’ve ever run into! Check it out.

Do yourself a favor and have breakfast here! I had the beef hash and a cornbread pancake with pecans. EXCELLENT! Even the coffee was extraordinary. The only two things I would change would be serving the Maple Glazed Pears warm, and opening a restaurant near Madison so I could eat there more.

So happy to find a place with kombucha on tap. Yummy. Food was delicious. Got a decaf cafe au lait and the quiche. Very good. All of the food we ordered was good. The breakfast wrap was dripping liquid. It tasted good but messy. Will be back.

We used to go here all the time and the food has gotten significantly worse. The food was so bad today that we asked for the check right away. Their eggs Benedict was made with microwaved runny eggs and tasted like dog food. I never complain about food either, I usually just eat whatever it is…not a picky eater… Not to mention, after I told the waitress about the food she got weirdly passive aggressive and rude asking why we asked for boxes then?! We were trying to keep things polite. Ended up leaving the food at the table. Honestly will never go here again..tons of better options in Oshkosh.

Pilora's has been a positive experience all three times I've visited. Today I went for lunch and had the Philly Beef, with a tomato feta salad. All I can say is YUM! The tomato's were fresh, and the dressing tasty, so as an appetizer it hit the spot. The main sandwich had nice chunks of peppers along with beautifully cut beef on toasted bread. I didn't leave anything on my plate. The service was great too - friendly and attentive.
For sure I'll be going back again and again.
