We stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. My husband, who considers himself a fish fry connoisseur, was very impressed with theirs. I ordered the pan fried walleye. The walleye was delicious, and I loved the roasted vegetables and fresh side salad that came with it. The atmosphere and service were also great. We will definitely be back!

Mike behind the bar is awesome! We had a blast on a Sunday midday visit. Ridiculously good onion rings! Chicken sandwiches were a hit, but the fried haddock sandwich was mind blowing. 😋 Inside is open and up north welcoming.

Wonderful service, great food, great selection of beer including Porter style beers, great atmosphere too. The bartender, Sully was absolutely perfect and it was so nice to see other staff members working together as a team to help each other out which provided an excellent experience for us as customers. We visited Pine Knot twice in the same week over the Fourth of July, it's a place worth coming back to. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is welcoming for both adults and kids.

The food was fresh and flavorful, and everything we tried was excellent. We especially appreciated the unique menu, much more than the typical deep-fried options you often find in the Northwoods and very fresh and flavorful. The cocktails were also well-crafted and delicious.

Pine Knot is a fantastic new addition to the area. We’re looking forward to many more visits!

Lovely gem in the north woods! Our waitress, Jenna, was very friendly and the food was great. The wild burger is so delicious and was cooked exactly as we ordered. The chips are house made and wonderful. They have 2 dozen tap beers if that's your thing. Classic north woods decor with some outside seating and music coming next week.

Couldn't be better. Service was superior. Food even better! Chicken rice soup was the best I've had. Beet / goat cheese salad was A-plus with fresh arugula and lits of beets and cheese. Walleye dinner was huge and cooled just right - tender and not dry. Not ine iota to complain about. We'll be back for sure.

The walleye was over battered and not cooked all the way, the fries tasted like a TV dinners fries, the burger was over cooked and dry, the potatoes were overcooked and everything tasted burnt, the waitress was okay but did not offer a solution to our food besides tell the cooks. Worst 60 dollars spent. Only thing good was the cheese curds and they were mediocre for Wisconsin.

The owner, Jen, has set the stage beautifully with a welcoming and warm dining area. I like that the dining area is separate than the bar. When there make sure to ask Jen about what kind of wood they used to make the tables! (Hint: it’s crazy unique!) The menu some may say is small but I think that is smart and leaves Jen the opportunity to bring in different and fun specials. Loved that there was a wine and beer menu. As for the food I thought there was a nice mix of regular items mixed with unique dishes. Included in this mix was multiple vegetarian options. You can tell that Jen used her passion for food and family while making this menu - another talking point to strike up a convo with the owner! The Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with Italian Sausage is by far my favorite salad for miles around! The house chips were flavorful and crisp. The wild burger was juicy and seasoned perfectly. And the mixed veggies cooked and seasoned to perfection - this is rare in most restaurants! This is a must try and a sure staple in St. Germain.
