We had fish here, the portions are huge and some of the best fish I've ever had. The coleslaw was something I've never had before and I absolutely loved it.
The bartender made us hand muddled old fashions.
We tried their gouda bites I would highly recommend them.
We enjoyed their food so much we came back 2 weeks later and drove 2 hours. I had a crispy chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the Nutkee Club melt. The amount of product they put on the sandwich is insane! The Smoky flavor, piled high with bacon, turkey, and ham. He enjoyed it so much we are getting two to go so that we can have some for work next week! Definitely a busy place but our wait time was not long.
I highly recommend giving them a try!

We didn't camp here but we did use the beach.
The beach is nice,but if they get busy it may be a little tight.
This doesn't reflect on the resort but we recommend water shoes.
There are rocks and other items in the water to look out for.
The food is very good. Bring your appetite because you get a lot of food for your money. The burgers are big and the flat fries are good. We had 3 different burgers and fries and they were delicious.
Now please note the was ordered for our grandchildren. They are 6 and 4 and they just wanted chicken strips.
We ordered the combo appetizer plate.
It was a meal in itself.
4 strips,onions strings, cheese curds, and fries.
I didn't order a burger for myself but I had enough leftovers for a full meal.
We also had 3 margaritas that I was told were very good.
The 6 of us say give the resort a try if your in the area.

Beware of the pontoon rental owner and expect extra charges for what I would call routine wear and tear on a river and lake such as lake Alice. We own a boat and know what are normal issues with boating but these are apparently uncceptable to him. Mutual agreement we shouldn't rent from them again so give thought to exactly what is in play before renting.

Kitchen is advertised as open until 8:45pm. We showed up at 8pm, sat down, waitress came up and rudely said "your window of opportunity to order is rapidly decreasing" and walked away. A few minutes later came back, the kids asked for kiddy cocktails to which she responded "I'm only here for food, not drinks." We left immediately. I recommend walking across the street to sherwood or heading down the road to bottoms up to avoid a bad experience.

Had the pine point burger. The best burger I ever had! Juicy delicious and fantastic composition of barbecue aïoli, onion rings, brioche bun… It was perfect! And the fries crisp and well seasoned! Fourth time stopping at this incredible place, 2nd time eating. The view is the only thing that beats the atmosphere and hospitality. The food, though, rivals the view for favorite part of the experience. Our group enjoyed 5 different items and each one was so good that we didn't want to share! Lots of options with flavor galore. Went here on a Friday, on which they had less than half of the menu available (no burgers, pizzas or sandwiches except for a few along with minimal appetizers) the service was wonderful but the food wasn't flavorful.
Who likes paper bowls and plates?? Not me.
Also cash only, although did have an ATM with of course withdrawal fee.
I strongly believe my rating should be used for improvement.

Just tried one of their new hamburgers and it was out of this world. It's called the Nueske's Bacon Jam Double Smoked Gouda with roasted garlic aioli and it was wonderful! Normally I put ketchup on my burger, but not with this one - no way. My husband & I frequent Pine Pointe because of their food, camaraderie, and the cleanliness of this place is above par. My husband and I walked in around 2:30 on a Friday. We were met with a cute pup, and super friendly bartender and patrons. We had to wait a bit before the kitchen opened so we ordered a couple drinks. The drinks alone (I had an old-fashioned) were note-worthy. For food, I had a baked haddock and my husband had a haddock fish fry with fries as a side. Best fish fry I’ve had in a long time! Amazing! My husband LOVED the Apple coleslaw and would’ve bought a container of it to take home if available. Highly recommend for service, drinks, and food!

We haven't been to Pine Point for a few years and decided to go out there for a burger. OMG!! Why didn't we go out there sooner???? The patio is amazing with incredible views of the water. The bar seating faces the great water views as well. The service was spot on, kind and courteous with a fun sense of humor. Now for the 3 burgers we tried... We have had burgers a lot of places and I cook a very tasty burger myself, but these burgers were above and beyond good!!! We will certainly be going back to Pine Point very soon!!!

Horrible, terrible owners of the bar and campground from Pyongyang, Tom and Dena were heard talking about blowing up the local agency for persons with disabilities, someone even wrote in Madison, Wisconsin Patch about what they're doing to the campground. They were heard making multiple verbal threats of arson against multiple campers if they didn't leave the campground. They discriminate against all senior citizens, old school type people, ethnic people, and persons with disabilities and are known to bully all such people. They're moving Warlocks and Outlaws into the campground. The bar is a very common and frequent hangout spot for Warlocks and Outlaws, hence all of the 4 and 5 star reviews they (Warlocks and Outlaws members) leave of this place. And watch out for the owners' replies, too, especially if they deny any or all of the above here. They're liars. I'd say these people belong back in DuPage County, Illinois, or even back in Pyongyang seeing how they love to get reviews deleted that reveal who they are. All so they can get a kick out of overturning people in wheelchairs and bullying senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

went to neighborhood bar and grill. We sat outside, three tables occupied and two tables inside occupied with four people sitting at the bar. ordered drinks and asked about fish fry times, was told 30 minutes. Said we would like onion rings as an app to tide us over. We watched as all the tables got full, thought, well we picked the perfect time. Hour later ordered a second drink and cancelled the onion rings. 30 minutes later the onion rings came along with an order of potato pancakes, which were supposed to be a side to one of our meals. I asked that our order be changed to a to go order. We got our to go order from a kitchen staff who didn't want to listen to my complaints. Got home and enjoyed the pancakes but not the fish. Jean said her hamburger was good. Will see you again in one year.

Rented Pontoon had a terrible experience with the new owners.

We have family and friends who live year round on the lake. We rented a pontoon over the 4th of July weekend as we needed extra space. Ended up having a few issues.

1. My wife cut her foot wide open on the metal rim around the gas can on the rear platform while untying the boat. The metal rim was sharp and pointed. This ended in an ER visit and multiple stitches.

2. The motor on the boat started dying and resulted in family towing us back to the resort. First thing we did was raise the motor to look for obstructions, which there was none. After returning to the resort they did the same thing, first raising the motor to check for obstructions, then running the motor and when bringing up RPM it would sputter. We ended up returning the boat 1 day early, ON the 4th of july.

3. After talking to the new owner about the problems. She said she would just refund us the $400ish dollars. We said that they need to round off the edges on the rear platform so people dont get hurt in the future. She agreed, and we went home. After a month of emails the new owners informed us that there would be no refunds because the battery cable was wrapped around the prop, which it wasnt.

So not only did they lie, but also refused to refund us any of the money, to include the day we did not get to use.

Money is not a problem for us but dishonesty and taking advantage of people is. We will be addressing this further out of principle, and it will be our legal representative that speaks with them next. At a minimum to protect the next person.

Very disappointing! Both drinks were not what we ordered. The food was not as expected. We were fine with letting all that slide since it is a wonderful setting to be in. But when going into the bar to pay the bill we were treated very rudely. The bartender had an attitude and made us feel as if we were a burden for him to deal with. We were told they serve till 9pm. We placed our order at 8:25. If this was an inconvenience for him we should have been told before placing our order. I don't think we will be coming back despite the great outdoor setting.
