We were told it would be 20-30 minutes for a table, not a problem. We waited our 20 minutes and were seated. We then waited 30 minutes and we were never greeted, after we were seated. I finally approached the hostess and she left the hostess stand saying “oh shit”. It seems we might have been missed, just a small party of 3 on a Sunday night. Once we were greeted the waitress seemed to take care of us. But my husband never got a pop refill, $3.25 for a pop and no refill?? And now we sit for 20+ minutes with our bill and no one has come to take our credit card. We are frustrated and no one seems to care. What should we do??

We were there on a Saturday night so we expected to wait. They said an hour to an hour fifteen, no longer. No problem! We waited. And we waited. We were seated after nearly 2.5 hours. No apologies or anything. They were out of at least 5 entrees. The food was fine, at best. Certainly not worth waiting that long for. We’ve loved Pine Ridge for years. We were so disappointed. ☹️

First timer to Pine Ridge Restaurant - heard many good things. It did not disappoint! Enjoyed the fish fry, which came with tasty walleye and broasted chicken, huge portions! Look forward to trying other menu items in the future. Our server, Mirrian, was terrific…hard-working and so upbeat! I have been coming here for many many years now and I still, hands down, think this is the best place to come for fish and chicken. The owner Jonathan comes around to make sure everything is good. I recently for the first time came on a Saturday night and finally had the prime rib. Excellent. And the blackened scallops were amazing!! OML!!!!! We drove 1 1/2hrs and waited an hour to be seated but well worth it!!! The coleslaw was unbelievably awesome, the chicken was moist and full of flavor and the fish fillets were HUGE! We were told by staff it was walleye! The cost to the amount of food was well worth it. I also have to mention the awesome staff! For as busy as they were and I mean they were slammed with at least 150 people waiting outside at the 20 picnic tables they were so polite, friendly and full of smiles!

absolutely fabulous experience! the food (friday fish fry) was fantastic. the walleye was all you can eat and so yummy. the fries were well seasoned and perfectly crisp. the sweet fry bread and coleslaw were perfect, 10/10. the staff were so kind and welcoming. maryanne was our waitress and she was so friendly and walked us through our first fish fry here. loved the atmosphere and would absolutely recommend this place to anybody! get there way early, put your name in, enjoy an old fashioned (preferably brandy sweet) and play some cards outside with friends or family as you wait!

Went to Pine Ridge for prime rib on Saturday. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Seafood Alfredo excellent. Fry bread delicious. But the prime rib was very tough. She chewed and chewed. I think she was still chewing when we got home. We did complain, server didn't offer a break on the bill. So overall, the experience was good. But for the money, we expect a good piece of meat when we dine out. Very disappointed. Wouldn't have that again.

I rate this as one of the five best meals i've eaten in my lifetime.
Unfortunately, the wait time is ridiculous for friday night fish fry.
They feature all you can eat walleye perfectly cooked, either deep fried or broiled,both are excellent. The broasted chicken is top-notch as well as the fresh sugared donuts and creamy cole slaw. They are also open Sunday nights and Wednesdays during the summer.Try then for a reasonable wait time.
It's kind of in the middle of nowhere but the $20 Price and the incredible food makes it worth the drive.

The limited menu means that the food you get is a recipe they've made thousands of times, so it's pretty good. Personally I'd like the fries better if they were thicker cut steak fries or potato wedges, but the ones they serve are okay as they're seasoned. The service this last time was kind of slow, but supposedly some new waitstaff was on duty during memorial day weekend so there was reaching and other help that made it slower.

For drinks, stick with what's listed on their menu. There wasn't any consistency in my three long islands, each of them had very different tastes.

We just moved to Birchwood and had friends visiting, and we heard about this place. We had to wait for a table, so we waited at the bar and ordered some drinks. Not too long, and a table became available. The waitress was very friendly, knew everything that was on the menu, didn't forget a thing when we ordered, super service. This was a fun place to eat. Loved the atmosphere. Very cool place. It was very busy, but they're efficient and move people through pretty quickly. We had the fish fry and broasted chicken. It was delicious! Some of the very best fish we've had. I would absolutely recommend this! The waitress did a great job too.
We thought the cocktails were a little pricey. I had Titos and tonic. He had Jim Beam and 7up. Just normal cocktails, Nothing fancy. They were in normal tub type bar glasses, not the tall 16 oz glasses. It was $14.50 for a drink for the two of us.

We met at Pine Ridge on a Friday to kick off a girls' weekend. We hit the busiest time and had a long (~90 min) wait. It was torture to see the big baskets of fish and chicken come out of the kitchen... But the wait was worth it! We were delighted by the sweet fry bread 'starter' and the delicious, crisp cole slaw. The chicken was flavorful and tender. And the fish was meaty and fresh. Everything was SO good - and that includes our server, Mary Anne, who took extra-special care of us. They dont let you add pre odered drinks yo your dinner tab before you have been seated. We could clearly see available tables but still had to wait for a table at the bar. Anyone that wants to learn about excellent customer service needs to go to Spine Ridge. Maryanne is exceptional, picks up on customer needs immediately. The Old Fashioned at the bar were well made, the food outstanding. Maryanne heard my grown children wish me a happy birthday and after the meal brought out a huge ice cream treat and the staff sang happy birthday. The steaks were perfect . Expect to wait unless you get there early, they only seat as many as kitchen can handle at one time, which means once seated your food comes out promptly and perfect. You never want for anything ,server is there several times during meal. Tip well they deserve every penny.

Pine Ridge is featured in one of two books about Wisconsin supper clubs by Rob Faiola, so my buddies and I decided to check it out. I wouldn’t call it a supper club exactly, but we’d wholeheartedly recommend it regardless.

We sat in the bar and ordered the fish fry, which, as others have noted, comes with fry bread, fried chicken, and french fries. We were a bit worried that the meal would feel too heavy, but it was completely and utterly delicious. Worth the trip from Hayward!

Love this place. Food is worth the wait. My only complaint is that they do not have guest Wi-Fi. Cell service in the area is non existent, and since the wait list is tied to your cell phone, there is no way to monitor where you are on the wait list. We went the day after 4th of July. It was the busiest day of the year. We got there at 5 and should’ve arrived earlier because the waitlist was already very long! 3 hr wait and it was STILL worth it. The wait isn’t usually this long in the winter. Plan ahead before you go! It’s a fun experience. People waiting outside in the beautiful surroundings- playing games and drinking. The new owner is super nice and even came out to meet people.

The quality of fish is unmatched. Giant baskets of walleye, crispy chicken and fries/baked potato. Fry bread and coleslaw are also to die for!

Our party of nine had the fried walleye and the broasted chicken and all the side dishes on this last Friday evening. It was above and beyond delicious. We look forward to visiting the Pine Ridge every time we are in the area. The food, atmosphere, prices, and service are truly outstanding. John, the new owner, is such an engaging and instantly likable individual, and Kimberly, the manager is exceptionally courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Went to their fish fry I really don't eat fish but my boss and his brother said it was very good fish. I got a bacon cheeseburger and some cheesy potatoes. It was okay nothing special pretty pricey 20 bucks a person and I still left a little hungry. But if you got the fish they said there was enough they were full. Plus there was an hour wait and it took about 2 hours to get our food but the place was hoping. The waitresses were doing the best they can I give them an a+.

Fish fry on Fridays and Sundays is where it's at! Gluten free broiled walleye was delish, baked potatoes, and coleslaw. Others had the fried fish, chicken, and fries and everyone was pleased. Staff is awesome. Highly recommend!

This supper club absolutely knocks it out of the park. Everything I had from the orange whip cocktails to the meal was amazing. My favorite was the shrimp De-jonghe. Please be patient and bide your time because this is a highly desirable place to eat. It's well worth the wait though.

If you go to Pine Ridge go early as this place is in high demand with a huge customer base the return as regulars. Food is served home style by awesome waiters. Food is prepared by top notch professionals managing the kitchen. Seating is limited so waits are to be expected, so go early or expect a wait that is worth it if you have the time. Only open 4 days a week from 4 pm to 8pm. Get the specials they are all delicious.

We visited on 8/13/23. First off, go early, which we did. We got there at 4:30pm (they open at 4pm), we had a 105 minute wait for a party of 7. So bring some games or drinks to tailgate because you’ll be waiting a while. There was a limited menu this day of fried fish, baked fish, or spaghetti. Then it all came with fried chicken, french fries or a baked potato, coleslaw and fry bread. I was bummed I couldn’t get a steak. Food was okay. Cocktails were good. Parking lot fills up fast.
With the limited menu on this date the dining was not worth the wait. I just don’t know if I’ll ever go back for a full menu night because the wait is just too long. They do not accept reservations.

Don't bother. Good stuff - service was great, as was the salad, fry bread, and fries. Pops had the fish fry and it looked great and he liked it. However, I had the ribs (x2), but came out cold and way overdone. Next try came out hot, but overdone and couldn't even eat. Prime rib came out cold too. They must pre-cook and heat up to order. There are many other great places out there...give them a try instead.

We attended fish fry and chicken on Friday night. Parking is tight with the amount of people/cars there. We arrived at 6:30 and were told our wait time would be two hours. Wow! You’re put on a list and get a text message which allows you to see how many are in front of you and the party size it also tells you the wait time. we got a text letting us know they were ready for us. One family was playing games such as Farkle and cards. This might be a great way to pass the time and spend the evening with your group. Games are not provided so bring your own. Also, the water is a short distance away, but the shoreline and access to it is for private property. Picnic tables are set up around the building For customers to wait. Not covered so if hot or raining plan accordingly. About an hour and a half after we checked in we got a text telling us our table was ready. Turned out it was a “fake text “to see who was really there. That was frustrating. It is true family style with long picnic tables where you dine. And it’s quite loud. Choices were baked or fried walleye. Chicken is served with the fish. Fry bread and coleslaw is brought first. The fry bread is fantastic! Think of a doughnut with powdered sugar! Dinner is brought out in a large basket with your fish fries, and or baked potato in the basket. Walleye was good, and chicken was also good, though a bit greasy. It was quite moist. We were seated in the main entryway. Didn’t make it into the “dining room “. I think that’s why our waitress forgot us and was less attentive. She was very very nice and pleasant, however, the check in during our meal was quite delayed. I am not the fish fry gal in our group so my rating is more on environment and service. I do not feel the wait time was worth the food but others may feel different if the like a good Wisconsin fish fry.

The wait was really long (over 2 hours), but the food was great and all staff friendly, efficient, and accommodating. There was plenty of seating(picnic tables) to wait at and even a bar outside. Bring cards to keep busy while you wait to eat. Overall, it was a great experience.

Prime rib was over cooked and cold did not eat it they did not take it off the bill I have had prime rib here before and normally not bad. Disappointed in the way they handled it waitress was great the manager looked like he was 15
