I got the ribeye with shrimp scampi. The shrimp scampi was amazing. The ribeye was so thin. It was like meant for a sandwich and for the price of $43 they made their money and I did not get a very nice meal. My husband, however, got the ribs and they were fall off the bone and wonderful. The drinks were great the service not once. Did they ask us how our food was not even when we paid for our dinner at the front desk. Unfortunately, there are so many good separate clubs we will not be returning to this one.

When you walk in, it has the dark supper club feel. Checked in, got menus, and seated at the bar promptly. Homemade margaritas, and great lemon drop martinis.
Enjoyed the prime and shrimp and deep fried oreos.
The dining room is a bit bright and more café like than supper club.
Staff was friendly and menu knowledgeable.

In general, low quality food. The grilled grouper was soaked in a butter/ oil concoction. Group member ordered the chicken and ribs and was disappointed with both saying the ribs were drowned in bbq sauce. Rolls were tasty as well as the pate and cheese spread. Prices were very reasonable.

Sat at the bar for over an hour to be seated. We got our appetizer and we had to eat it at the bar, no silverware was offered, we were not offered to go to our table at that time. When we walked into the dining area, there were our salads, relish tray, and rolls at the table, but for how long they sat out before we were told we could be seated, I don't know. Other tables were set up for a while, before people came to ther tables. Very loud in the dining area also. The food was good, but it wasn't worth the wait.

Consistently good. We have eaten here several times. Very good service at the bar and at the table. Delicious food as well. OneI had perch, the other battered shrimp. Delicious! Pine tree has always been a good spot. We recently came in on a Saturday night(12/20) for prime rib and everything from the service, drinks, and food was top notch. Everyone employees, and customers were amazing as it ended up being where my fiance and I got engaged. The staff and customers were over the top amazing and went above and beyond for us. We had the prime rib and it was amazing, the new owners have definitely improved the food aspect. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back.

I should have known that things changed when I pulled into the parking lot. Only a hand full of cars. Walked into the bar, had my pick of where to sit. That has never happened. We were told the table number and had to find it ourselves. The worst prime rib ever. Raw, tough. New owners have no idea what they are doing. Very sad to see this establishment era over. Consider yourself warned!
We did send two dishes back, it was worse than the original plate!! All the years that we have eaten there, we were never ever served meat that was not edible!

We’ve been 3 times in 6 months. Each time the ribeye or prime rib was either undercooked, chewy or dried out. That is not just one person, but 3-4 people’s experience. At first we returned it (and three attempts later it was “ok”). The last two times, we just gave up.

The Pecan Crusted Salmon was superb the first time, just ok the 2nd and dried out the last. Once a staple in the area, this is another supper club that can’t back up their prices with excellent food. How sad, but we won’t be back.

Food was good. There are scant vegetarian or vegan choices. We had poor man's lobster, in another words, broiled cod or haddock. Portions were ample but no vegetable. The atmosphere in the bar was what I expected in a north central supper club but the dining room was a bit too bright and sterile. All in all, it was decent but could use a little more character.

Ooof. This was a tough one. Husband and I came for dinner.

I ordered the tenderloin with deep fried shrimp and sweet potato fries. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well. $39.99

My husband ordered the ribeye with scallops in a wine butter sauce, cooked medium rare. $39.99+ $4.00 for the famous wine butter sauce.

Started with a salad. Basically, this was a mixed iceberg lettuce mix from Sam's club that included the carrots and radicchio-- straight up generic bag salad. Wasn't awful but for a restaurant that charges $30-50 per entree, I would have expected better.

My tenderloin came rare. (see picture). I asked for it to be refired for a moment. when it came back it was better but the center was still medium rare at best. Luckily, the aus jus was hot enough to "cook" my more rare pieces so I was able to eat. I guess if you have to serve a tenderloin with aus jus, you're probably doing something wrong. Very little flavor on it's own.

My sweet husband's steak came back medium well done, at best. He also asked for his to be refired (which, in 16 years of knowing him, this has only happened twice). Again, see pictures for anyone who may not believe it. Ribeye was bland with little to no flavor with out the Mccormick's aus jus.

The famous scallops in white wine and butter sauce-- what was this even? I love wine but haven't had a orange wine since I was drinking Boones farm in a field. The sauce was SO sweet... and orange? like, orange orange. Weird. Not good. And for $4 extra dollars, yikes.

Probably one of the worst meals we've ever had, start to finish.

I have been going to this supper club for 40 years and the meals we had tonight are just as good as they were back 40 years ago. The old Fasioned’s are still awesome. A lot of people are unfairly judging this place because of new owner while the old owners just wanted to sell it and retire. The new owners are doing a fantastic job and keeping the food quality as good as it always has been.

There was one boisterous and vulger customer there complaining about... not getting an extra piece of chicken? I feel like the staff handled the individual and situation well.

Great food and service. We each had a steak and they were superior and needed no additional seasoning. We went on a Thursday night early and it was very quiet. If you go on a Friday or Saturday expect to wait at the bar for an hour or more but it will be worth it.

The service was fantastic! Would recommend the hot shrimp dip. It was amazing. The night our party of 6 was there they had run out of prime rib even though we arrived before 5:45. It was disappointing but the other steaks we had were very good. The shrimp scampi was excellent. The shrimp and scallops in the wine butter sauce was a bit sweet but still very good.

This is an excellent point of interest. Supper clubs of Wisconsin need to hit on so many points to be considered an optimal place. Pine tree hits on all points. Old fashioned’s, martinis a relish try, the prime rib options work great for those that can only eat a small cut. You can also get a massive cut. Brandy Alexander , grasshoppers and pink squirrels are sure to wow you. My daughters are over 10 so they split an order of chicken Alfredo which was finish all the way.
Only only down side was the music was a bit loud in the bar area but not awful.
My best advice as they are very busy. Make a reservation. You won’t be sorry trying this place.

New owners, new experience. We got there at 5:20 and waited an hour to get our order taken. Then we sat another 35 minutes when the bartender finally asked why we have not been brought back to a table. She went to find out and we were then seated. The bartender was the ONLY good part about this night, she was a rockstar.
Sat down and the rolls were wrapped in a paper towel and so hard because they had microwaved them, they stuck to the cheap, very non presentable paper towel, sent those back. There were 3 other tables in the dining room with people at the table. Not full at all!! We waited another 20 minutes for our food. The food finally came, potatoes were cold sent those back. Had no drinks or water the entire meal and nobody came back to see how the meal was. Paid $100 for two people and then the meal was maybe worth half of that. Seems like they are trying to sell high end priced food but doing things the cheapest way possible. The service and wait were horrible and when asked by the owner who checked us out ( after his bartender got him out of the bar) how everything was we told him all these issues.
It was very evident that the owner was more interested in what was going on in the bar and if his drink was full than his dining customers. We will not be back and unfortunately will also be sharing this experience. This used to be a favorite spot and it’s to bad, there no pride in a nice experience any more.

We had a death in the family, and needed a spot to take the family to celebrate the life of our loved one. Pine Tree was was an exceptional experience. Even though they had short notice they were able to accommodate our group of 20 and allow us a degree of privacy as well. The food and the service was excellent. Everything was well prepared and delicious! I cannot give them a high enough recommendation.

My husband and I have been told to go here for awhile. We were looking forward to it!
We got there and was told they didn't know how long the wait was but gave us menus and told us to sit at the bar. On our 2nd drink a girl came to take our order. We didn't know we were supposed to place our order while still sitting at the bar so we asked several questions and got a few idk responses. We ordered prime rice, frog legs and a rib eye/shrimp combo.
The ribeye was ordered medium rare and was overdone. The shrimp was very sweet. The mushrooms and onions tasted like shrimp and rubber. The prime rib, queen cut, was tasteless and tough. The table next to us also complained about their steak being rough. They were given another knife to try. It did not help. We didn't take anything home with us. Over half the ribeye, all but one frog leg, all but one shrimp and part if the ribeye were left on the table. Everything was sweet.
The dressings the make in house were good but put onto bagged soggy salad. What's the point? Why bother making dressings from scratch of the actual salad is gross. The old fashioned were good.

On the recent post by Dixie Hill. She was asked what seafood dish she ordered,. It was the $30.00 seafood platter. I ordered my king cut prime rib cooked to medium. It was served super rare, nearly raw and when I complained to the waitress she took it to the kitchen, telling us they would pour hot au jus to bring the temp up, which obviously didn't work, it came back as rare as it started. So, all in all it was a disappointing experience to say the least.

Before the new management, this was THE place to go to for prime rib in this area. Not so much anymore. For more than $80 were served very mediocre seafood and nearly raw prime rib. We waited for over an hour. Though they were busy, they were nowhere near capacity. The prime rib was so rare we sent it back - their solution? Dump some hot au jus over it -- of course this in no way remedied the raw state of the meat. Will we go back?? Absolutely NOT!!

Went for mother's day dinner. Had amazing prime rib! Nice generous portions. They were extremely busy so even though we had a reservation it still took over an hour to be seated and another hour to get our food. It was worth the wait. Bartender was fast and nice. We went for primerib and was not disappointed. It was very tender and tasted great along with the au jus. Shrimp was great as well, just enough spice but not too overwhelming. We were extremely disappointed however on how long it took to get seated. We waited an hour and 45 minutes after our 7 o'clock reservation for 3 people. Luckily, we found some friends at the bar. When asking the hostess about our table, she indicated several times once the tables are available they would seat us, and the meal would be out shortly after. Several times I visited the dining room to see 5 tables open in the back room but still not seated. We were starving by this time, so once we were seated it seemed to have taken another 20 minutes to get the food. I just thought by having staff take your order prior to seating things would have moved faster, but an entire hour went by. Perhaps we just hit the busiest night or they were short staffed. The food though was delicious, just be prepared to wait.

The service was terrible, we called ahead and got a reservation set for 7:30 pm, we didn’t get seated until 9 pm! And didn’t get our food till 10 pm, we only had a group of 6. Awesome supper club! Brandy old fashioned are good. I have been here two times and the food was great each time. The serving sizes are good portions. Last time I had the breaded shrimp, which were cooked to perfection and were huge in size. The first time I had the prime rib and was not disappointed in any way. Perfect place to gather for a great meal!

What can one say about a restaurant that has been serving top shelf perfectly blended cocktails alongside some of the best Prime Rib served anywhere, for as long as I can remember.

Bartenders and Waitresses do their very best to make your dining experience as pleasant as possible in a small, home town setting.

This place populates quickly on Friday and Saturday night so don't forget to reserve a table.

I’ve been here twice recently and both times my food was sub-par. I’ve had the crab stuffed shrimp, only the crab stuffing was all breadcrumbs and no crab. I took it out and just ate the shrimp. The second time I had the salmon and the top of it was burnt. I cut the top layer off and ate the well overdone remains.

Went in on a Saturday at 430 and the place was already packed wall to wall. Bartenders were very friendly along with the staff. Took about 45 minutes to sit and eat. Got the Prince cut Fillet at 16oz and was cooked perfectly. Kid got the deep fried shrimp and the 8 he got were huge. The homemade dressing for the salad was phenomenal. I would highly recommend stopping in and be prepared to get there early. Food is definitely worth the wait.

Very good restaurant, food was super, staff was excellent and definitely ran Like a well oiled machine. For sure is a very busy place. Waited even though we made reservations.would for sure recommend calling for reservations. Definitely will return for another visit in the future!

Awful. Fish tasted like it was coated in sugar and was like baby mash. The prime rib was said to be medium came out well done. The shrimp were like rubber. The drinks....well...not what it once was. And all VERY OVER PRICED EVEN IN TODAYS TIMES. Never will go back again.

I expected more for the money. 5 of us with one drink each was $280 with tip.
Ordered crab )eggs and they were bland. My rib eye was cooked perfectly as well as the steaks with my guests. Overall food was good but over priced.
