A nice place to take your group. The hourly rate includes your entire group. The food and setup was nice with wait service attending your table right behind your bay.
The only downside is the driver provided was too short for a tall guy like me so i had to bend over to hit the ball and I'm way too much of a casual player to spend $600 to buy my own club. For this reason alone I won't be back.

Celebrating my 12-year-old son's birthday at Pinseekers was a delight. The bartender, Alex, provided superior service and was a pleasure to deal with. The venue's food and entertainment options were also of high quality.

Awesome experience, service was great first time our group ever attempted to swing a golf club they offer great games at the driving range that made it an awesome group date night with no skill. Only got frys for food but they were better than expected.

Absolutely dreadful experience at Pinseekers. The buffalo wings were an abomination, tasted like they were scraped off the backside of a cow. Greasy, flavorless, and just plain vile. I wouldn’t feed them to my worst enemy, or my dog. The golf simulators are a complete joke. The trackers are so inconsistent they only register about half my shots, and when they do, they cap your ball speed and distance, making the whole experience feel rigged and pointless. Save your money and avoid this place like the plague. Worst golf and dining combo I’ve ever encountered. Cheese curds were alright tho I would rather spend this money playing an actually good course also with highway noise it was near impossible to hear the music and just try having a normal conversation without screaming my vocal cords were fried after it

Cheese curds were great and came out quickly, but then they brought out some sorry looking buffalo wings. Tasted like cow manure and was way less than a pound of wings. Overall good experience beside the sorry looking wings. I was utterly disappointed in the wings.

This is not in the same class as Top Golf! Limited amount of clubs at each bay, equipment looks beaten up and the targets are much lower cost versions of the competition. Infield hasn't been mowed in awhile and wonder when they last picked up balls. The putting greens were nice and poetically the best part of our stop. Had higher hopes.

For a company that is trying to pull out of bankruptcy they aren't doing it. 1st time here and we show up to our bay and very very dirty table. Server shows up to take a drink order very quickly and we asked if she could clean the table. Food shows up before our drinks and ask him hlif he could clean the tableand he said he would tell someone, asked a 3rd time to have table cleaned and was told she was the only one and busy....welcome to being in customer service. Our bay didn't even have a tee for right handers so we switched it ourselves. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. As a CEO of a hospitality company they have a lot of opportunities to improve this.

The cameras did not track the balls sometimes. For the price, the area was a bit unkempt and dingy. The server was a bit inattentive. Overall we had a good time but I could have been better.

We were There for dinner for 13U baseball league awards dinner. They served hot dogs, 1/4 pound burger, fruit dish and mac and cheese. Approx 100-150served. Food was gone after serving 75. Had to wait over 1/2 hour for burgers and mac and cheese to be restocked. No one was in charge. All young kids were running the show, afraid of their own shadows. This is not where you want to hold an event that includes food. Food wasn't any good at $20 plate. Golf and drinks were fine but pricey. Disappointing for most who attended.

If you come to this place expecting TopGolf, you might be disappointed. BUT, for the price, location, and value of the experience, I’d argue it’s even better than any TopGolf I’ve been to.
At $38/bay for 75 minutes with 6 people there, this is a great price. Given that price, I expected the price for drinks and food to be significantly higher, but they were very very reasonable! $18 for a pitcher of Summer Shandy is an incredible deal in the Madison area especially given the environment. I agree that having a few more clubs available would be nice, so I recommend bringing your own if possible.
Great stuff, nice job team! I will be back.

I've never been to Top Golf, so I cannot compare... But the food was way better then it should have been. My son says best chicken tenders he's ever ever had. He's 11.
Note that unlimited balls means come to get in some swings. May not be the best place to simulate a round of golf if just one person.

Honestly some of the best food I've had in Madison - fries are a 10/10, and the pimento cheese burger was a 9.5/10! Golf was fun but could maybe benefit from more club options and either a better walk through of the game options or more engaging ways to play as a group

It’s $38 per hour to reserve a bay.
The servers were attentive and friendly. Wide array of menu items.
There’s plenty of parking and we had no problem parking our trailer in one of the side lots.
There’s also mini golf available.
A couple of clubs are provided, but we brought our own for the kids.
Wish we would’ve requested a bay that had a low table instead of the high top with the kids.
The greens could use some regrowth!
They had a lot of fun with the Angry Birds theme.

Nobody in my family is a golfer, but we can hit the ball. It was so much fun. We have been here twice, once at night and once during the day. We had fun both times and we highly recommend it. The hourly rates vary depending on the day and time so check their website before going.

I went for the first time thinking "oh, it's just like Top Golf." At the core, it is, but it is far from the same experience. The game screen is very difficult to use, you need to hit the screen super hard for it to register clicks. There aren't any screens that face your other teammates for them to spectate. There are no fans and no airflow so on a hot, humid evening you will be roasting without any form of breeze since the structure blocks the wind. Most annoyingly, beginner players will have most of their shots go unrecognized. An experienced player can easily hit the 40 or so yards required for the ball tracker to actually work but new players are incredibly frustrated they have to keep re-hitting over and over again because they're working on form and not power. I've been to Top Golf many times and this has never been a problem. If you're experienced and just want to hit balls then this is fine but I would not recommend this for new players.

It was my first time here and we had a group of seven, plus an 8-month-old. A good time was had by all! Kaelyn was very nice and attentive but it seems she had the whole second deck to herself. I would suggest adding a second server. We weren't lacking, however. They did have a separate staff bring our food to the table so Kaelyn didn't have to take that on. I'm sure I will be back! For the last shot of the night, Christopher re-enacted Happy Gilmore! (See video)

Stopped by PinSeekers at DeForest on a Monday afternoon and had an awesome time. It wasn’t busy, which made for a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for a first-time golfer like me. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took the time to show me how everything worked, which made a big difference and really helped me enjoy the experience. The facility was clean, welcoming, and easy to navigate. I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

I really wanted to like Pinseekers because it’s much closer to my house than Topgolf and I love Topgolf.
I walked in with a group of five, and right away I noticed that almost everyone was bringing their own golf clubs. This became even more relevant later. When we checked in, our left-handed guest was told they’d have to pay extra just to use a left-handed driver, which already felt a little off.
When we got to our bay, there were about four clubs available, all different sizes and none that really fit. I went back to the front desk to ask if they had women’s clubs since the driver was way too long for me. The staff member told me there’s “no such thing as women’s clubs” and that if I didn’t like the standard size, I should bring my own. I do own clubs, but I’m not going to haul them every time I want to play casually with friends. What exactly am I paying for if they can’t even provide a basic, complete set of clubs? Even a full set, wrong size or not, would have been better than the random assortment we got.
Another frustrating thing: they don’t clear the balls off the range, so it’s really hard to see where your ball lands.
Overall, I’ll just drive the extra 1.5 hours to go to Topgolf. It’s worth it for a much better experience.

Food was great but the service is horrible. Spent the majority of our time slot trying to served and order food. The place was well staffed but most were on their phones and not helping. Also the ball despenser doesn't always get the balls onto the mat and they roll onto the concrete and roll off the edge. All the tees are too short or broken.

I went for the first time tonight and I was obviously skeptical about going based on the poor review score. Then I started reading the reviews and a lot of it had to do with service and not the actual facility, golfing, food and other things. Yes they were definitely struggling with service because it's just like any other place, very hard to find good help. However tonight when I went there they had a good staff, they apparently hired a bunch of people and the two people that covered my booth were absolutely phenomenal. Both young kids but one was brand new in the other one is only been there for 3 months. They were extremely attentive and super responsive and it was also very busy. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to get a drink or anything. As far as the golf goes, excellent technology with the golf. I really enjoyed it and I think for the price it's better than just about anywhere around. Highly recommend

Meh . . . Popular place if you are into golf. And if you are into golf you might as well go to a golf course and play some actual golf as this place will cost you nearly as much playing "virtual golf" as real, live golf.
Seemed to me that the staff working behind the bar didn't enjoy the work they were doing.
Literally, sat down across the bar from someone who didn't look either of us in the eye let alone acknowledge our existence 🙃. Perhaps having a bad night, but I got the sense that they would have enjoyed being absolutely anywhere else than where they were working.....making drinks for the rest of the bar but not for people sitting at the bar?
No eye contact, not even a hey someone will be right with you, it was pretty busy so there's that. 😊

I really wanted to like this place. It’s honestly a knock off top golf. The location is hard to get to, gps doesn’t send you to the entrance. The golf tracking equipment barely works. First bay didn’t work at all. Had to be moved to a new bay and it worked about half the time. The ball machine randomly spits out balls mid swing, but when you actually need a ball and use the sensor it takes forever. Balls badly needed picked up from the grounds. It’s all dirt, no grass, needs some turf. Food is pretty expensive. WiFi was down so they had to come back to take our order. I felt bad for the young staff. Everything seemed broken and/or cheap.

We were there on a Saturday to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a hit literally and figuratively! Our server was very kind and I could tell she was overwhelmed. She told me several workers called in so she was staying very busy as the place was packed. She still kept a great attitude and did her best! Pizza: hand-tossed crust and delicious! Giant pretzel with summer sausage, cheeze cubes, brats and beer cheese sauce: excellent! Kids and adults enjoyed 🎳 bowling and pinball downstairs as well. Great experience overall for our first time! Would go again!

Overall, the venue is good for golfers. The ball tracker partly worked which is super frustrating for golfers. Staff was not the best to work with for issues that arose--including the manager that assisted but had poor customer service, no apologies and just wanted our money. The menu was not available for ordering through their QR code for a Saturday lunch time. When we inquired about it, we were told that the menu ordering was turned off and would not be turned on. Parking is an issue and check in process was not smooth even with a manager. Our golfing bay also was not ready as there were others still in there golfing.

If you are thinking about going to the golf simulator, you’d rather make your own DIY golf simulator at home. We planned to stay for 2 hours and left after 30 minutes. Not spacious at all, if you think you’ll have your own personal space think again as you will be literally back to back with the people behind you. If you think your getting high quality clubs you aren’t as if you request to have rental clubs you will be handed 3 of the same irons.

One out of three shots registered on the top tracer technology. That’s super frustrating for a place that’s so new. Don’t plan to be able to play anything competitive when you’re there as you have no idea which shots will actually be tracked.
Service was not great. Only way to get a server to come by was to order more food on the app. They were out of sight so you couldn’t even go grab them. It’s a little thing, but the drink cups they give you are like little kid cups from a hot dog stand. Servers can’t keep an eye on if you need refills because you’re holding a tiny paper Pepsi cup that you can’t see through.
The food was pretty good. I want this place to do well, but they need to improve their service and fix the accuracy of their games before I’d recommend that anyone comes here. Try Vitense on the beltline instead.

Not impressed. Went here over the weekend and was super disappointed that half of our pretty great shots didn’t register. The ball return was also finicky and would take a long time to return. Most of our time was spent waiting or hitting the ball again after our first 1-3 shots didn’t register. Great concept, poorly executed.

Atmosphere good. Food was pretty good but the price is a little high for what it is. What was the worst of it all was the service. It was not a busy night. About 4-5 boys working the bar and food. We had to come up for everything to ask for a table, for a menu, for our order, for our bill. Which he asked us to then come to the bar and pay the bill (5 minutes after asking for it) only came up to us once when we were almost done eating with his hands in his pockets asking us if “ we were good” . Like I said bar was almost empty. It’s 7 at night. Probably top 5 worst experience when it comes to customer service. Might not come again after that! Sucks because I was hoping we had another good place to go to in deforest as there are very few already.

I want to like this place, but it is overpriced and I did not have a pleasurable experience last time I was here. Spent around $200 on the range and drinks, only to be told we have to finish our drinks as they were closing in 15 minutes @ 10pm and they were flipping up stools all around us. It gave the vibe that they did not care about us as customers. Not very friendly. Shot tracker also does not work well and the system to deliver the balls is not ideal. Vitense is a lot more customer friendly and you get more for your $.

Disappointing first visit to Pinseekers. No assistance or information provided as to 1) how to initiate a “game” on the digital console or 2) how to turn on the heat. When I asked the young women at the reception counter how to turn on the heat, she did not know. So we just hit balls—some would show up on the screen with distance tracked, others did not. While drink and food service was responsive, food was just ok. We will look for other entertainment options.

Took a trip to the Dells with family; passed this place on way up there. My boys wanted to check this place out to see if it was anything like Top Golf near us. On way back home, we stopped to check this place out. First thing; it smelled of natural gas in parking lot. Second wasn't given any really instruction to what bay we were in. Got to the bay and no clubs. Wasn't told that had to have own clubs. When you're traveling , especially not in winter or not planning on golfing ; you don't normally have your clubs. My husband had to go round up what clubs they had available. The clubs they had looked like they were from a yard sale. The machine wouldn't register more than half the swings and shots. Food was decent per my husband and boys. Choose not to eat. Service was lacking. Place hasn't been open long and looks run down like it's been there ten years. Probably a one and done!!!!

Fun activity for the entire family; also makes for a great date night or night out with friends! The bays are very well kept and clean, even in the colder months the heaters keep the space warm enough where an extra layer is all you need to be comfortable. They have a few clubs for you to use but I’d recommend bringing your own. The one negative was the drinks, they weren’t very good and are pricey but they do offer other alternatives like beer and canned cocktails which I’d recommend instead.

The staff and management go above and beyond to make every visit worth it. Plus, if you want to improve your golf game, they have one of the best instructors in Dane County (possibly the best—I’ve tried four).

No clubs to use. Shot tracker didn't register. Slow service on food and drinks. Overpriced. Mud pit that looks like they never pick balls up. Had to go to front desk to ask for a rubber tee for our bay because our mat didn't have one. Balls don't come out of dispenser directly onto mat so if they don't bounce right you have to chase them down. I've been here a few times in the past year and I have not been impressed any of the time. The mini golf is the only bright spot. Place is run by teenagers and you can tell. As a local homeowner to this place many things could improve and hence why you have a high turnover. I’ve visited 5x because my friends or family wanted to come here. I really don’t go out of my way to come here. The bartending and service at the bar is always subpar. I believe you cant keep employees unless there 18/19 years old. As having an 18 year old myself they need coaching, direction and social skills. Out of my visits I never get silverware and napkins. You have one napkin holder at the bar. Maybe put 3-4 on each side. Every time I never get silverware when I order. If a customer orders food wouldn’t the first thing to do is give silverware? The drinks are ok but don’t ask for wine because it’ll take the young staff 10 minutes to figure out which and when they went to take uncork the bottle it took 3 employees. I understand people complain about not bringing your own clubs. To me if you have a business like this serve food that is a 10. You charge enough for it. Why not, represent some of the best food choices in deforest since there isn’t many to chose from. Not only do you make profits in golf you’ll actually get people that want to eat here. You could have 2 reasons to come. Golf and food. Just imagine the best pizza or the best burger in this area here. Wait til top golf comes to Madison. You think business couple be better now you got competition. Every week you should look at your reviews and changes some things. I’m not proud of even recommend this place to friends because it’s really not worth it. It doesn’t take much to make small changes to make more ROI because at this rate it’ll take you 5-10 years to get some profits

Food ordered was cold. The ball return was broken so we had buckets of balls and we had to wait for more buckets taking our 1 hour time slot to hit balls to 45 minute's and automated distance tracker was not working. We also had to leave our bay 5 minutes early so they could clean it for next group also decreasing total time we were able to hit balls. Also the next group stood near our bay waiting for it to be available for 10 minutes while we were hitting balls. Would not recommend unless changes are made. We did try to communicate this to the manager but he kept saying this is how all multi million dollar golf courses are run. This is a driving range not a golf course. Good luck who ever goes there. It's alright if you just want to hit some balls and have some drinks or food. If you're trying to improve your game, it's not ideal. The sensors don't register all the time, and distances are inconsistent. The tables and chairs are too close to where you hit. I'll probably come back, but wouldn't go with more than a couple people.

Was really excited to check out Pinseekers on Father's Day. Walked around to see the facility and then have some dinner with my wife & daughter. None of the areas are really set up as a restaurant. Had to us a QR code to place our food & beverage order. The drinks di come out quickly. We inquired with a staff person after 45 minutes and no food. She checked on our order and report back that nothing had been started yet. No apology other that telling us they were busy. We thanked her for checking and asked her to cancel our order. This will be my first & only time at Pinseekers

No servers have to order food at the bar got food but no drinks had to ask 3 times for drinks. They put us on the bottom level so my son hit a ball and it hit a light that they have dangerously sticking out of the ground and came back into the bay barely missing my head by inches so it’s a dangerous design then to cap it all off the food made my wife sick she paid for our visit well after it was over

TLDR: Do not go to PinSeekers it loses to Top Golf in just about every metric. If you are not willing to drive to a Top Golf I still don't Recommend PinSeekers. Just go golfing on a regular course or go bowling.
Here are 9 reasons why Top Golf is better.
1. Clubs: At PinSeekers there is 1 small wood that can be used as a "driver," a 5 iron and a 7 iron. Just really low quality it is a necessity to bring your own clubs.
Top Golf has a high quality clubs and every type of club. They even have boys and girls clubs. They also have a full set of left handed clubs for lefties.
2. Ball pickup: PinSeekers never picks up the balls during the day from what I could tell. The ground was just pure yellow fully riddled with golf balls.
Top Golf has ball pickers going when there are many balls on the field.
3. The game screen: PinSeekers game screen is very laggy and crashed multiple times while trying to be used. They do have a fun go fish game for non golfers.
Top Golfs screen didn't give us any issues and ran much faster. Has angry birds as a game for non golfers.
4. The targets: The targets at PinSeekers are painted and riddled with balls
Top Golf targets have awesome nets that capture your ball, I assume they get funneled into a container so they are off the field
5. Seating: Both PinSeekers and top golf have a max of 6 people per station, but PinSeekers doesn't actually have space for 6 people.
Top Golf had a couch setup with a table in the middle, it was overall very cozy.
6. Service: This is a little petty but PinSeekers had little paper cups filled with water for us while Top Golf had much nicer plastic cups.
7. Payments: PinSeekers only charges by the hour. What do you mean you can't charge for 90 minutes???? Just divide the price of an hour in half and charge me that. 2 hours is a lot Hitting in place and 1 hour is too short. 90 minutes is perfect please have an option for that.
Top Golf lets you pay in 30 minute increments rather than hour increments.
8. Ball sensor: To get a ball you hover your club in front of a sensor that then will spit a ball out. This worked horrendously. Sometimes it would take over a minute to get a new ball. We were at station 105, maybe it was just the station but PinSeekers please work on that.
Top Golf sensor worked flawlessly
9. Ball sensors part 2: Do not take new golfers to pinseekers, you had to hit the ball a certain distance for them to pick it up. I want to say the ball had to fly about 30ish meters for the sensors to pick it up
Top Golf did not have this problem.
Sorry for being such a Karen just had to endure the experience of coming here a week after going to Top Golf.

Take this review as you choose. My first, my last, and only visit to this facility was a huge disappointment. Overpriced and poor service from our server. The landing area for the driving range looks like a landfill. The so called greens are stupid and don't give any feedback to a golfer with them being raised. Just an overall poor experience and destination which I highly do NOT recommend going to.

It was ok but I went with too high expectations, the personal wasn’t as helpful as I needed, I asked twice for something and I was ignore pretty much, the booths are too close doesn’t feel private at all. Our screen didn’t work for a good 20 min we had to figure out by ourselves bc I already knew the staff wasn’t going to help me, if you are rich go ahead they are going to treat you good lol It was ok for a first time but I already know (personally) I won’t go again.

Sadly not overly impressed! Was looking forward to having one of these in the area because we have been to similar things in Chicago and Milwaukee that we love. The bay seating areas are super small and uncomfortable. We had just a high top for 6 people and it would have been much better with a couch and coffee table but very few bays had that option. On top of that, standing room is VERY limited. The nachos were super dry and cold when they came out. The spinach dip had 4 veggies that came out in the tray. Our server was great and very attentive and the alcohol selection was great.

Big “we have top golf at home” energy. The “grass” was littered with balls to the point your ball could barely roll. Drinks were meh and the sensors struggle to register any ball that didn’t have perfect loft. The driving range we live near (Vitense) also has the top tracer system and we’ve never seen it struggle like these do. Wish there as a taller tee option too, they just have short and micro lol. Luckily it only cost $38/hr for early Saturday afternoon.

My company had an outing at PinSeekers. Overall, our whole group enjoyed our time. The food was good - especially the cheese curds. We all really liked the mini bowling and for the folks who golfed they seemed to have a good time.
I think PinSeekers could step up their game when it came to the catering experience. The food was not on time and some of the things we ordered weren't available (specifically we ordered chips & salsa - and when we asked when the salsa would be delivered we were told they only had corn salsa. Then we were given a cheese sauce. Cheese sauce, not queso 🤷🏻♀️). The wait staff was very friendly, but more frequent check ins for a medium sized group would have been nice. Even with my minor gripes, we all had a great time.

First driving range I have been too that doesn't supply drivers. And when you book it does not state anywhere that they don't have drivers. Then some higher ups wanted to argue and say it's on there website where you have to search the entire site for the tab that says they don't have drivers. Should have been stated during the reservation instead of having to scour their website to find that out.

You book an hour and 15min online. Your time starts when you pay, not at your start time. They don't tell you your time starts the second you pay when you check in. You have no time to figure out where you're going and settle in because the clock is ticking. I feel like I was ripped off, and mislead because I checked in 15min early and I missed out on a half hour of my hour and 15 min that's apparently only an hour eventhough you book for an hour and 15min on the website.

"When we got to our bay the ball system wasn’t working. I went back to the front desk and they sent three people who all tried the exact same thing. They all shook the hopper, dug around with a club, and tried wiping off the sensor. After 22 minutes they decided to leave the top of the hopper open so we could grab balls out by hand. I am not exaggerating when I say that less than 50% of our shots were recognized, I get that really bad shots might not be caught by the system but it was not registering very average shots. Not to mention that you are hitting balls into a field of mud with a handful of green patches. One shot that I muffed into the fence showed up as 228 yards and the next shot that I smoked showed up as 39 yards. Wii golf feels more accurate than my experience at Pinseeker! Avoid this place at all costs!

The whole setup was subpar compared to TopGolf. The only adult clubs available in the bay were three irons and a wood. I asked for kid’s clubs and was given only 4-5 clubs of various sizes. Our bay was not in good shape when we arrived and the screen did not consistently pick up the ball trajectory. I would not bring a business group here and will be going to TopGolf next time I want a family outing."

First time going today and they do not have taller T's to hit our drivers. Seems to be an easy fix but why not since opening? Their tracers also stopped working correctly on sunset/dark on our bay 302. Seems like the tracer didnt have enough light to capture our balls flying fast. We had to hit our balls slower for the tracer to work during night. Improvements needed but overall still good experience.

Fun little place, with a very friendly staff. However, the experience overall felt cheap.
The food was mostly what I expected, overpriced and mediocre. I was surprised by the fact the hamburger was clearly a frozen patty just warmed up. It tasted fine and again; it was kind of what you would expect from a place like this.
The more off-putting part was the fact that the "driving range" did not have any drivers. When we asked the employee, he kindly went and asked management. He came back and informed us that, typically, they do have drivers, but they cost $5 to rent. HOWEVER, somehow, they were ALL broken.
I do not think a driving range should up-charge for drivers, that seems a little nuts, just build it into the price. $38 an hour isn't enough for 1 driver?
Overall, it was fun, the reason it got a 3 and not a 2 star is because of the staff. They were great. As for the place itself, I had fun but couldn't help but be slightly peeved about the upcharges, the over-priced frozen burgers and all the broken clubs.

I visited this place back in November. I gave this 2 stars because staff was friendly and the vibes was fun too. Unfortunately, the sensors did not register many of our shots and we had difficulty finishing games in a timely manner. The staff is aware of this issue and from what it seems like, it is ongoing. I plan on hosting a bachelor party and I will check out this location one more time. If it still has the same issues, we will travel down to Chicago for our "Top Golf" experience instead.

Has the potential to be great, but needs improvement.
- Only 2-3 random clubs are available per bay, so you really must bring your own clubs if possible. Hopefully they provide full sets in the future.
- The shot tracking tech needs work. If your shots land short of the first pins, or go towards either side net, they are never recorded. This is problematic, as if you aren’t a good golfer, your “turn” on any game means taking truly endless shots until you hit a few straight and long enough to count.
This all said, if you have a good size group to split the cost and someone’s clubs to share, it’s a good time even with the issues. It’s got most of the bigtime TopGolf feel, and it’s much closer than Chicago’s offering.

We were so excited about this place opening up. It’s a nice option for something to do during the winter and is reasonably priced to rent a bay. It just feels unfinished. They rushed to get it open and you can tell. We have been on the 2nd level 4 times and half of our shots didn’t even register. The tv didn’t work in the bay we played in last time, so we only had the small screen to watch our shots. Food and drinks are overpriced. Spinach artichoke dip was tiny and not worth $15. Heaters aren’t great. They turn off and you have to constantly turn them back on. If you are on the 2nd floor the ball dropper goes off for a solid 15 minutes and is really loud. They could have put a door there but once again it shows that they hurried up to open this place. If they made some changes then it would be much better!

Never been to a pinseekers before, was my first time, but I have been to a few Topgolf an and let me tell you they are worlds apart. The construction of this place seems pretty rushed. Not many golf clubs to choose from, one of our golfers is a lefty and they made him give them his id to use clubs which seems outrageous. The kiosk at our suite was really hard to navigate given the glare on the screen. The ball ejector thing isn’t level with what you drive off of so you spend half your time chasing balls. The driving range didn’t even have grass on it was hay, hard to see where balls go. When we walked in front desk acted like we were invisible.

Went at 4pm and as sun started to set the ball tracking stopped working. During sunset, 30 balls were hit and only two registered. Pretty disappointing over all. Kid at the front never greeted us, just stood there.
We booked the sports sim because the website said all golf bays were gone but plenty were empty for the 2 hours we were there.
The sim bays said 1-6 people but for the 1st hour about 12 kids were in the opposite sim bay. Then for the second hour when it was “empty” random kids and golfers leaving would just stop and play in it for bit. Kind of defeating the purpose of actually paying for it.
Overall all pretty disappointing and low quality experience considering the sim bay cost more than a golf bay.

First time, I see the fake reviews. We went there this morning 12/31/2023. Highly disappointed and don’t waste your money. We had 10:30am for 1 hour, 2 bloodies and fries set us back $70. It ends up being an overpriced golf range.
1. Bring your own clubs. They have like 2/3 irons, you can request kids/lefty/women's but not enough options.
2. Bloody Mary was not good, so overpowering and just overall gross. They also make you order booze separate from coffee/hot chocolate. I just wanted Baileys in my coffee which should be an option to add it. You end up buying two drinks - for winter that should be a default option when selecting.
3. Order with a server, their app thing sucks. Food is overpriced and ok at best.
4. The sensor that pops up the ball sucks, they have tape over every single one. When it snows/rains/windy the sensor will just shoot out balls nonstop.
5. The screen to play doesn’t work, wouldn’t record any drives or chips so games are useless.
If you want a better environment and more space go to Vitense, much better and their suites are nicer. They also use toptracer which is the same this place has - but theirs works or is calibrated better.
The staff was nice but the fake reviews is concerning since they are all about a month old. I would choose Door Creek nearby, Vitense or pleasant view in Middleton. They need to make changes, the ball sensors were the worst. Keeps knocking my ball off the tee, very frustrating.

I want to love this place. I’ve been patiently waiting for it to open.
I didn’t think renting clubs a should be an issue; I figured a place centered on beer and golf would cater to casual golfers. They only had a few clubs because they were breaking; I took a swing with a 5 iron (the ‘most powerful’ in my bag), got too under it, and the face went flying and landed in the mud. When I confessed to the staff they shrugged and said it happens all the time. I don’t expect high quality rentals but how in the world does a driving range not have drivers?
The range is all dirt and mud; will they grow sod? I don’t know.
Decent service, decent tech, and I’d be willing to give it another shot next year to see if things improve, but after seeing all these fake reviews I’m not sure that’s a business I want to support.

Horrible experience. Drove an hour with my dad to play. They could only give us an hour cuz they were booked (which turned out for the best). The first 45 minutes our shots never registered and the manager came out and said there was nothing they could do, he said inferior technology. They knew it was a problem with snow falling and the sun going down but they still charged us for the hour. So we had to make up our own games of trying to hit the spots that lit up when you hit them because that's all we really could do. This compares nothing to top golf.

The fake reviews have to stop. Roughly 75 of the 5 star reviews are fake reviews that were added at the request of management. This is ridiculous and such a sketchy way to run a business. Go look at the Tiffin location, exact same thing happening. Telling employees to get fake reviews is horrible. Actual review would be around a 2/5 to 3/5 overall if not for this.
I really want to like this place, but they didn't think about so many things. I will be optimistic they figure it out quickly, but seems like they are just spamming positive reviews instead at the moment. Look at both locations and they both went from generally poor reviews to nothing but stellar reviews over nights a few weeks back. Make the changes don't just cover up the reviews.
Cons:
HEATERS - awful. They are not even close to adequate. Never been cold at Vitense or a top golf, but can't survive an early December day here they are so bad.
Communication - Very poor job of communicating out everything.
Layout - You will be banging your clubs into doors and walls just to try to get through. Did not leave big enough walk ways. They bays are also cramped. Much better layout at Vitense or Top Golf.
Tracking - Misses a good chunk of shots and struggles with any shorter distances so tough for children to enjoy
Changing Tables - there just are none, crazy thing to leave out given how cheap they are.
Pros
Golf in Deforest in winter, although just go to X Golf or Vitense and you will enjoy it more.

We’ve been twice in the last two weeks and this place is a MESS!! It doesn’t seem like they are ready to be open at all. Duckpin bowling doesn’t work the way it should half the time. The driving range is a mud pit with the tracers only working part of the time. Food all has to be ordered through an app, with the prices in the app being different than listed on the physical menu. Because you’re ordering on an app, there are no servers. No one bringing water, no one clearing dishes, had no silverware on the tables. I truly hope they can turn it around because it has the potential to be great but right now, we will not be returning for quite some time.

It's like budget top golf rn. A few comments I have...
Food was not bad, and service and people are all good. Don't ask me for gratuity up front, I think that's a little excessive for just paying for the golf itself.
The top golf tracer works as expected.
They need clubs badly, you knock out a lot of traffic when you don't have clubs. This place is a get together place for sure and needs to have every amenity.
My thoughts is it opened a little to early. The actual range needs to be finished as far as turf or grass, looks a little sad rn. The idea is there and I'll change my review once it sees those improvements.
I'll definitely be back just bc of the top tracer food and atmosphere but just needs quality of life improvements.

Expectations may have been too high coming in. Thought this was going to be similar to Top Golf, but is sadly not. I'd say it's between Vitense and a driving range. Interstate is really loud and our hitting bay was right next to the ball distributor machine, which sounds like a continuous loud air cannon. I'd recommend putting a door there to help block that noise as it was constant. Service was good and the auto ball delivery system was nice. Vibes were not so good. Only had a high top with stools for seating. Also the owner refused to play anything other than slow Christmas music. We requested other music a couple times, which our server attempted to make happen, but the owner kept immediately changing it back to upbeat Christmas hits like Noel and Silent Night.

This place literally looks like a beacon from the highway that you must check out. The bartender (Kelsey) was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. The food was also delicious. When we got a bay, we were able to play on the bottom bay in 30 degree weather with no issues thanks to the heaters. Fun games to play with a buddy or just hit some practice balls. The only downfall was the limited club availability. We also had a blast knocking down some pins in the mini bowling alley. All around great experience and glad to have something like this closer to the East Side!
