I've stopped here several times now, with different groups of people. Each visit was well worth it. The food is delicious. The service was good. And the atmosphere is especially great if you sit outside on the deck, where you can view the pond and enjoy the peacefulness of it all. I would recommend it.

Must have been bad night. Server and service was amazing. My daughter and I both ordered smoked beef brisket. Neither of us could it and we're not fussy eaters. It just tasted like old not fresh meat. Fries were delicious but we fed the brisket to the raccoons. Might try one more time, great atmosphere.

Came up here for a little weekend get away from the city and stumbled on this place. Stopped in Friday night for dinner and a drink. We got the pulled pork pizza, it was so good we had to buy a little bottle of Pats special bbq sauce to take home. We ended up coming back the next morning for breakfast. Bagel sandwich was phenomenal. Such wholesome people here, the owner and his bartenders showed us great hospitality. Next time we’re in wild rose we’ll be sure to stop in!

My family has come here often for breakfast, lunch or dinner for the past three years since we’ve bought land nearby. We really enjoy the pioneer because the staff are really welcoming and make us feel like regulars. The food is good. We love the boarder burger and fish fry. Breakfast food is yummy and inexpensive. Nice place to grab a drink and some food while on the road. Our bartender was pleasantly folksy, cocktails were made to order and then some! . . . . Juicy burger and tasty fries hit the spot.

The bar has plenty of dining room seating, even though we ate at the bar. There's even a nice deck out back overlooking the mill pond.

All and all a comfortable atmosphere to relax for lunch.

We've eaten here a lot lately. The food has never disappointed. The brisket and pulled pork are amazing. The bartenders are always friendly and helpful. I don't know where they get their wait staff. They will generally cater to just certain people and treat others like they are bothering them. Last stop there we ended up getting up and walking out after over 10 minutes of being ignored. There were 3 other tables with people who were being served. Not exactly busy. We have experienced rudeness and staff yelling at each other. This last visit, the waitress looking right at us, kept talking on her phone, and proceeded to restock the bar rather than take our order.

Food was great. We had a chicken sandwich and a brisket sandwich. The chicken was a whole breast fillet and not pressed meat. Very good. The brisket was great. Most places screw up brisket but it was done perfectly. Service was good. The view was the icing on the cake. We would definitely go back.

When my wife and I walked into the place there was a handful of people there our waitress walked out shortly after taking our order leaving the bartender to serve us when our food finally did come out 45 minutes after we ordered when my wife went up to the bar and asked where food was it came out cold the service was terrible the food was not to be desired overall it was a very disappointing and unsatisfying experience will not go back there again
