Stopped in for the pizza lunch buffet. The pizzas were fresh and kept hot and had a good variety of flavor (the deep dish crust was very very good), but the pasta was very overcooked and mushy and the meat sauce just so so.
Our server was only at our table a couple of times and I had to ask for soda refills.
Great salad bar with a lot of side salad options. The cranberry chicken salad was amazing.

Dagmar and The Manager Romario Are shining Examples of Incredible and Kind Customer service at its Best. I Had the chicken Parm alla Vodka( must try) my two quest had mushroom Swiss burgers and two Budweiser's , Our bill was very affordable we paid less than $100 for 3 adults. It was an experience of Love and respect with those two employees. You Must ask for them by Name Dagmar and Romario , because they are the real deal when it comes to Customer Service. Friday night for dinner and we both ordered a salad bar with a medium pizza. Salad bar was not fresh...some lettuce was brown as was the broccoli and cauliflower. Croutons had no crunch at all and were very stale as were the sunflower seeds. I don't eat dressing so the croutons and sunflower seeds are part of what make my salad. We both had some of the chicken noodle soup and the noodles were so mushy they were spreadable. The thin crust pizza had very little sauce but was more edible than the salad. This used to be one of our favorite places to come in the Dells for dinner. But sadly after tonight's experience, we will not be back

Pizza Pub was much more than a pizza bar. There was an abundant salad bar. There was a dessert bar. There was a pasta bar. Then there were multiple options when it came to pizza. There were thick crust and thin crust options. The only reason the atmosphere and service received a three star is because an elder waitress stood by the salad bar speaking negatively about a co-worker named Tracy. I'm not rating the menu just the pizza and pasta buffet. Over priced, 25$ per person. Ended up being over 65$ for 2 sodas and the buffet on a Saturday evening on an off peak night.

Pasta buffet was just linguine and spaghetti noodles uncovered in the open, marinara sauce, Alfredo sauce, seafood pasta and lasagna. No chicken or meatballs or meat options to add. Had broasted chicken (we didn't eat it) but saw multiple people just chow down on it and seemed happy with it. Had Marconi something and garlic bread. Sad options, food wasn't covered. And only 1 small buffet area. Like a 5 foot table and that's it.

Had a dessert table and the options were super depressing. Heard a kid saying the carrot cake was good tho.

Seafood pasta was just pureed seafood with LOTS of seasonings, was not stellar. The lasagna was alright, since it was in a warmer and uncovered was dried out.

Had multiple types of pizza. The standard crust pizza was meh at best, the thick crusted pepperoni pizza was actually really good. Dessert pizza was just a pizza crust with pie filling on it, overly powering sweet.

Salad bar seemed to have three types of lettuce in it and multiple options for toppings. Didn't eat the salad but that seemed like a 4/5. Was more covered and not quite out in the open which was nice. Had soups and their chicken noodle was actually really good. I'm a sucker for good chicken noodle and their noodles were actually shells which was a nice change and the chicken chunks were mixed of light and dark meat.

Our server was very attentive.. believe his name was Kevin honestly the best part of the dinner.

The restaurant it self was clean and the booths and seating were nice. Also I really did appreciate that the restaurant was quiet. No loud music which is a pleasant change. Booths were in two different sizes small and quaint 4 people then large 8 people. Bar was sperate from the restaurant area, the casual seating was nice and quiet and relaxing, then there was the room where the buffet was and was better for large groups. That area was very plain and white and had green old time booths. However as a restaurant and seating I am content with.

The other tables that ordered off the menu seemed to have good food. Buffet seemed to just be a "throw away" option. I won't be back for the buffet.

Mediocre and overpriced. Our 4 meat pizza was mediocre at best. The sausage and beef were overcooked and the rest of the pizza seemed undercooked. I think the problem is because the beef/sausage covered the rest of the toppings. They just load it down with sausage to make it seem with the price. It's not. The ham was chewy and hard to bite through because it was undercooked and the pepperoni had no flavor.
The "pub spuds" were good but he description said they come with sour cream on the side but they didn't send any.
One large pizza and the "pun spuds" cost us $42.68 without the tip. Not worth it at all.

We arrived as buffet was ending. Were told they would not remove anything until we were done. Soup was cold. Pizzas were cold and dried out. Pastas were warm, but not tasty. We were seated and wait staff brought our drinks and never saw them again until we were done, which was about 20 mins. Wait staff commented we were done quickly, but no comment about plates covered with uneaten food. A waste of $54 for 2 adults and 1 child. Wait staff should have just refused to allow us the buffet or just said buffet is closed. If your looking for something good to eat and if you like pizza this is the place for you from 11:00 - 2:00 is all you can eat for $9.99 per person 7 days a week. The pizzas are delicious my favorite has to be the BBQ pizza with BBQ chicken with purple onions. Next the soups that they have are fantastic. The chicken noodle soup is my favorite the richness of the chicken noodle soup is outstanding. But the salad is the most delicious I get iceberg lettuce with lots of black olives, feta cheese, cucumber, and a lot of thousands Island dressing, tomatoes and I top it off with croutons and bacon bits. It is a bait and switch in a tourist area. We went there for the Pizza Buffet but it was not until we were seated that we learned there is no pizza Buffet. The portions are quite big.

We visited Pizza Pub for a late lunch during a recent family vacation.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we waited for probably 3-5 minutes before we saw any workers to seat us. We were about to leave when someone finally came up to seat us.

We opted for the lunch buffet which was well stocked and reasonably priced. The pizza was OK, nothing special, but there were several varieties to choose from along with different crust types.

As several other restaurants in the Dells, this one also charges to use a credit card.

The meal was OK, service was mediocre. I would not plan to return.

Pizza Pub – Hits and Misses

Visited Pizza Pub recently and had a mixed experience.

- The pizza was the clear standout, flavorful, and just the right amount of chees. Definitely worth coming back for.
- The salad bar, on the other hand, was a letdown. It felt underwhelming and overpriced for what was offered. I'd skip it.
- Service was passable but left room for improvement. Staff were polite but not particularly attentive or quick.

Gave the lunch buffet a try and was unimpressed. Tasted at least 10 kinds of pizza( slices are small so easy to try a lot) and only liked one. When my family and I visited Pizza Hub, we were a large party—so naturally, we were extra careful with our order. The dishes were already *majorly* pricey, so we planned everything down to the last detail to stay within budget. All of us ended up ordering Alfredo—*just* Alfredo—and our server offered optional toppings like grilled or fried chicken breast and broccoli. We each chose one.

What we *weren’t* told is that those toppings came with hefty extra charges. The chicken (just a few tiny pieces, barely a serving) cost $5 each cut PEICE, and the broccoli was $1.50. None of this was mentioned when ordering—not even a quick heads-up—which would’ve drastically changed how we ordered… or led us to leave entirely.

When the bill came, our faces went pale. It totaled well over $100—despite our careful planning—because we were unknowingly charged for extras we thought were standard or complimentary. We understand that add-ons may cost more, but it's common practice (and basic courtesy) to *inform* customers of that. Especially when serving a large group on one bill.

Wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, I called the restaurant afterward to let management know—politely—that the charges weren’t clearly communicated. I wasn’t angry. I didn’t ask for a refund. I just wanted to raise awareness in case it was an honest mistake. Unfortunately, the man who answered was dismissive, condescending, and refused to listen. I kept repeating, “I’m not upset, just letting you know,” but he insisted on reading my order back to me like I didn’t understand. He completely ignored the *actual* issue and turned the whole conversation into a lecture—before abruptly hanging up on me.

I didn’t call to argue. I wasn’t even mad—until that call. It was a frustrating, unprofessional experience that left me feeling unheard and disrespected.

So I’m leaving this review to help other people avoid the same situation. If you visit Pizza Hub, *ask* about extra charges—because they might not tell you.

Now, to be fair, here are the positives:

* The staff at the restaurant (excluding the man I spoke with on the phone) were kind and patient.
* The space was clean and well-maintained.
* The food portions were generous, and while not spectacular, the food itself wasn’t bad.

We had a wonderful waitress and this guy on the staff interacted with my son a lot and gave my son extra napkins when my son was telling me he needed to clean his hands. The server was not very attentive at all the entire time we dined in, we found mold in the bottom of our Parmesan shaker as well. We informed the server, after we grabbed a new one from a different table and checked there was no mold. Typically, a manager would be sent over to check on the guest or compensate for this but nothing. We didn’t get her name, but as we left, we did see her checking other shakers (I did appreciate the fact that she was checking other shakers for other guests) but this should be done daily and the shakers should be cleaned weekly. It was very gross to find that at my table and in an item that’s supposed to be used on my food, I was not very pleased with my service or visit.

Have eaten here before with grandsons (6/2022), this time (7/14/25) wife and I ordered 2 piece all white Braised Chicken dinners. Salad bar is really good. You could make a nice meal out of it. Pizza and other food is ok. The high chair for our toddler had a broken buckle so we couldn’t buckle her in which ruined our meal and I’m sure those around us weren’t too happy either.
Restaurants MUST remove broken high chairs. Toddlers need to be buckled in. She stood up and could have fallen. We switched her to another high chair but was a struggle. Once we took her out of the first chair, she didn’t want to go into the next one.

The salad bar was double sided with many veggie and protein options, even down to French dressing, which I never see in restaurants these days. The dining room was very quiet, until about 12:30 when the lunch rush started picking up. Overall, worth the price of admission. The drinks were delicious, including their Island Sunset and Jungle Juice. For two people, including buffet, two fountain drinks, and two alcoholic drinks a piece, we came out under $60. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in town and want to enjoy many different options of Italian food

We had 3 people dining and our bill came out to $89 before using the 10% off in the Dells coupon book. We ordered 3 calamari,1 tortellini, 3 root beer floats and a salad buffet. Our server, Miluska was phenomenal. She was very attentive, gave great suggestions and extremely friendly. I would go back just to have her as our server. The food came out timely, accurate, hot and affordable. I couldn't have asked for a better salad bar. Great selection and always filled. We will definitely be back.

On a warm Friday night in June, we finally made our first visit to Pizza Pub and we’re so glad we did! After hearing about it on past trips, we decided it was time to see what the buzz was about, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

We arrived around 8 PM, expecting a crowd, but the atmosphere was lively and welcoming without being overwhelming. The staff was friendly and efficient, getting us seated quickly and keeping things running smoothly throughout our meal.

Our group ordered a little bit of everything: fried chicken, spaghetti and meatballs, and a shared pizza between two of us. Every dish was satisfying in its own way. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, with juicy meat and perfect seasoning. The spaghetti and meatballs had a comforting, homestyle quality with a rich sauce and generous portions. And the pizza? A total hit; classic Wisconsin-style with a crisp crust, gooey cheese, and plenty of toppings. It’s no wonder this place is a local favorite.

We also loved that the portions were hearty enough to take home some delicious leftovers, which made for a fantastic late-night snack.

Pizza Pub has a fun, casual atmosphere that’s great for groups, families, or anyone looking for a satisfying meal after a busy day at the Dells. It may have taken us a few trips to finally stop in, but now that we have, it’s officially on our must-return list!

My delivery experience with Anna had be coming back for more 😂. She was incredibly helpful and made the process a breeze. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a stop!

We were sat quickly but that’s the only good thing about our experience. No one came to us for 25 minutes! I finally had to stop a waitress to ask who our server was. Then it was another 10 minutes before they even came back to get our drink/order. Very disappointed in the service. When the food finally came, it was okay. I started putting the Parmesan cheese on my daughter’s pizza but then I saw that it was completely MOLDY! Overall, not a good experience and will not be back.
