Variety of food is perfect and all SO tasty. Place is clean which I really appreciate. Staff are all super nice. I visited Pizza Ranch three different days this week. First to bring my grandson for supper, then to bring a dear friend out to eat, then we ordered food to go for a work party. Last 2 times being there, each food bar was low on most foods, chicken & sides, pizza, & desert pizza never did get filled while we were there. Out of straws, out of cones. Today, Saturday, about 10 tables had people sitting in them. The rest were full of dirty dishes and no one was cleaning tables. People were cleaning their own tables off. At one point, there were about 2 pieces of pizza, no chicken, and the salad and dessert bar were half empty. There were no clean forks available due to the dirty tables I assume. It was disappointing.

We've been very happy with the upgrades the new management have brought. Sadly, yesterday we cannot say the same. Very friendly greeter who offered us the buffet your way. We placed our order and 35 minutes later we had to ask someone to check on the status of it. It was brought out within 30 seconds and it was room temp, overdone and not well made. Up to this point the pizzas have been hot, cheesy, and very little Edge crust. The edge crust yesterday was very dark brown and at least 2 inches around. I looked at the pizzas on the buffet and they looked the same so whoever was making them yesterday should step up their game. We also were not offered an apology. It's going to be a while before we go back so hopefully they can make these changes. Also the restrooms were very dirty. Several times when I went up to the buffet they only had thighs, no other kinds of chicken choices.

Placed a pick up order 2 hours in advance for 6 pizzas. Once I arrived, I had to wait another 45 minute after the scheduled pick up time before my order was ready. I ended up missing half of my son’s 3rd birthday because I had to wait. Once I was home, I noticed they had forgotten and entire pizza. With the old owner, we quit going there because service and food quantities were so bad. We just went there tonight, and it was like a whole new place. The servers were around often to make sure everything was good and taking away empty plates. The food was delicious and plenty of it available all the time. If something ran out, it was replenished very soon. I will definitely put this restaurant back on my favorite list. Very friendly atmosphere and smiling staff. Kudos to the new owners.

Just opened on Monday July 14th, 2025. After being closed for some remodeling, and take over by new owners. Clearing the empty plates from our table and other tables fast, coming and asking how we were doing, and how the food was tasting. They wanted good, and/or bad about the taste, looks, and smell of food, or if we were turned off by the taste of anything. The food was wonderful, especially the salad bar was different the lettuce having cucumbers, and tomatoes right in the mix. The pizzas were awesome on the pizza bar, and the chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy were excellent also. I did not have the corn bcuz most adult as they become seniors citizens have a hard time dealing with corn as a vegetable.
Just letting you all know we will be back. We a LMK so left a good sized tip.

Where too start. Eau claire under new management is awesome, the food was fresh and hot, the variety of pizza was out standing, even had stuff crust, yum. Chicken and all the sides were plentiful and fresh, the desserts never ran out and the ice cream oh the ice cream. The atmosphere was family friendly and the wait staff were neat in appearance , friendly, quick and helpful. All in all a 360 from the previously managed pizza ranch. So, usually I don't start reviews like this, especially with NEW BUSINESS OWNERS, but you guys suck. The original owners of this specific one failed to notify every single one of the staff members they'd be out of a job (and yes, legally they were supposed to as per Wisconsin State Law, mind you.) So, whoever does the hiring now that is a tall tattooed bald man, good luck with keeping workers who respect you with that kind of preliminary mindset. If you think someone wants to clean up a mess the owners made AFTER the bombshell of "Hey guys we're last minute warning you that you're going to be out of work," you're sorely mistaken. If anything, good LUCK cleaning up after the previous owners and gaining back any potential customers. Most people don't go to pizza ranch anymore because there's places around with way better pizza and dishes! Big ole thumbs down and a shame on you if you're so desperate to get the business up and running!

This use to be a decent option but not anymore. It stinks inside because of how dirty it is. The workers will walk past food, napkins etc on the floor and not pick it up. The trim and wood booths are stained with dirt from years of neglect. The manager who’s usually there when I’ve gone doesn’t seem to play a part in keeping the place going. I even mentioned how gross it was for chunks of food to be in the bottom of the soup warmer with water when there was no soup and he just gave me a look and walked back into the kitchen. Messy salad bar and empty marinara bowls left until the point of them getting crusty. It’s apparent the owners aren’t very involved, how else could you let this happen to your store?

If people are eating, dont expect to close the restaurant until closing. I get everyone wants to hurry up and get out of there. But theres a closing time for a reason. Seemed crazy to rush us out with 45 minutes still left til close. Honestly shouldve asked for a partial refund at that point. Besides that, I really love the concept and the food. The chicken and the pizza are really good. They've put out burnt food before (overdone chicken and burned fries) and didn't replace it even when it went untouched. The salad bar is decent. The cleanliness needs to be addressed. The floor is constantly filthy and slippery. Food all over the floor. The bathrooms are gross. I do like the food though. It's usually pretty busy and sometimes it can be slow waiting for more food to come out. Sometimes you have to wait awhile for more pizza to come out. It's kinda pricey for what it is. 2 people is gonna be like $30.

Worst place ever. To start with paid $40 for 3 people. Way to pricey for a place that called "Pizza Ranch". The pizza had only a smear of sauce and it was dry and all selections of 4 pizzas were cheese. DRY CARDBOARD! The hot bar had chicken mashed potatoes and gravy that was continously empty. The salad bar was a mess (Feel like I should notify the FDA or city health dept or department of agriculture trade and consumer protection). The icecream machine was running and was clanking very loudly and did not dispense icecream. LITERALLY every table was dirty. We noticed other guest having to buss there own table. Poor poor management and staff was scarce. We overheard the table next to us complain to the manager. DO NOT RECOMMEND, WILL NOT RETURN under any circumstances.

Food and service excellent, if you don't want to pass out from heat stroke I recommend a personal fan. I am giving it 1 star because they didn't have the air conditioning on and when I asked if they could turn on the ceiling fans, they refused to do so. I asked them while beads of sweat was running down my forehead. Resulting in me and my friend leaving early without feeling full. I visited on 05/29/2022 on a breezy 78 degree day. It was cooler outside than inside. Very disappointed in the lack of concern for their customers wellbeing!!!!

Wow where can I begin? Came in here on a Saturday night around 6. There were no plates or forks in the buffet. I took the last of the cups. The employees seemed annoyed, understaffed and stressed out anytime you brought anything up. All of the tables were dirty. When we finally were able to sit at a clean table it was out of napkins. The buffet should having a warning sign about slippery floors. There was so much grease and food on the floor. A gnat was found in my daughter’s mashed potatoes. The ice cream machine was half working. An employee just said you need to let it freeze although it had a “low mix” message. Dessert pizza was non existent after I heard numerous of patrons ask about it. The salad bar was in disarray. Supposedly the pickled herring is good, though. This was a laughable experience and I’ll never come here again but man oh man it makes for a good story.

I am not sure who is to blame…Pizza Ranch Corporate, the owner of the franchise, or the management, but this place is DIRTY, out of food consistently and short staffed consistently. I have encountered a lot of great employees over the years, but they always leave. I suggest the Eau Claire management meet with Culvers management to learn how to run a restaurant! I feel so bad for the line employees to be constantly working thru understaffed times. I will no longer return until I hear that leadership changes have occurred.

Don't bother with this place. Make sure you print your receipt if you go here else the GM Josh will accuse you of being a thief! Terrible customer service.
