Paid for my sister, myself, and my daughter. I took one small bite of my food and couldn’t stomach it and started to feel sick and didn’t continue to eat after that small bite I took. Everyone else was able to eat just fine but not me. When we were ready to leave, I spoke to a staff member about possibly getting a refund just for myself because I didn’t eat, but because they didn’t know how long we were there, they weren’t able to tell if I actually ate or not and refused to give me a refund and then I got really sick after leaving.

I understand that they’ve probably had people ask for refunds in the past for the ones that actually did eat and pretended that they didn’t so I can understand from that point of view as well. I also wanna add that nothing was fresh on that buffet the entire time we were there. Everything was old and not changed. The outside of the building smelled like a really bad sewage leak as well.

I did end up getting very sick after leaving and this could’ve entire situation could’ve been handled so much better, but that staff and manager on duty didn’t care and were very snooty and rude to me. I will not be returning to this place ever again. First I don’t get my refund and then I get really sick after that first bite…….So what does that really say about his place? It says “We don’t care if you ate or not you’re not getting your money back because we don’t believe you even though we have cameras and didn’t want to check them and we also don’t care if you got sick”

This use to be a really good place to get food and I absolutely always enjoyed coming here, but over that past couple years, it seems everything has gone downhill so much…….. I mean for crying out loud all I was asking for was my $16.85 buffet fee back. I wasn’t asking for a full refund including the drinks. I was just asking for my buffet fee because I didn’t eat all but one small bite and got sick off of it.

Just to preface the review we got to the buffet at 8:05 and they had a sign saying they closed at 9 despite Google saying it closed at 10. So the selection was limited but we understood why. - English wasn't the primary language with any of the employees I engaged with, so I had to gently explain what a biscuit was multiple times before learning they didn't have any today. No biggie but it was funny trying to describe that 😊

Constructive feedback:
- Pop is not included in the buffet at this location (though it is at all of the other locations we've visited throughout MN) - it must be owner discretion. It was something like $2.75 per person extra...(that adds up!) so no root beer floats for us this time 🙃
- Ice cream maker was broken (but in fairness, a repair guy showed up as we were leaving and said he would have it fixed in a couple of hours)

Food was decent for it being a busy Wednesday night however the service was not amazing. We had gotten there an hour and a half before the restaurant closed and had originally tried to sit in the back room and was told that they were closing the area even though it was an hour and a half before they closed, there were other people sitting in there, and it was busy in the dining room. So we had moved to the dining room and combined two tables (because we saw other tables combined) and once again was informed we could not do that. They then said we could sit in that dining room they were closing but said we had to “limit getting crumbs on the floor and keep our table as clean as possible” overall, just didn’t feel like we were treated great and hesitant to return to this location.

First off they charged us $60 for myself and twin daughters. We sit down to eat and there is flys bothering us the intire time. My major issue, the main reason I come here is to have pie and ice cream when we're done with our dinner and they're ice cream machine is out of order (not the first time). I ask nicely what was going on with the ice cream machine and they tell m they don't know it's broken and won't be fixed until after the weekend, I reminded them that we paid $20 per person for 2 kids and 1 adult and that we were very disappointed about the ice cream machine being broke, they just shrugged their shoulders and made a stupid remark about it being summer and wanting ice cream. All the reviews raved about how good this place is so we tried it. When we walked in the pizza bar had only one slice of pepperoni. There was no cheese. All the other ones my kids would not touch. We waited to see if they would bring them out. When they finally did there was barely any cheese and the pepperoni was way over cooked. My kids just took some breadsticks. The ice cream bar was only vanilla and the cups for them were a tiny tiny sample size: the “dessert” bar was a joke. The chocolate chip cookie pizza was soooooooo small and I saw a guy trying to cut himself a piece. It was so hard. They say kids under 10 eat free but they charged $10 for the drink so is it really free? You don’t even get a choice to not get a drink. I feel like I wasted $48 yes that was for one adult and 2 kids. It was horrible go somewhere else.

Also, I just called here to inquire why I was charged for my son even though he is 10. They said they charge for the drink, they charge $1.00 times the child’s age. So I got charged $10 for my sons drink lol so not free

Not alot of options, as they had 1 pizza stand, 1 salad stand, 1 chiceken and pasta stand, and 1 desert stabd. but they keep the food fresh, I watched them take out stuff that was sitting. Instead of leaving it for someone to take the bullet and eat it like other places do.

Pricing was fair. I really like the pricing for children. Besides a few years being free. They charge $1 per age after that. Which is believe is fair. A 5 year old won't eat as much as a 10 year old.

For the area, it may not be enough seating sometimes.

After long hectic day at water rides and roaming around the place, wanted to have something high calories food. Found this buffet place and this turned out to be really great deal. Very not satisfied for the price. We have visited this location monthly since we have meetings nearby. This last trip was the final one. There were fresh full pizzas when we got there but they weren't replenished timely and then the replacements slow to show up had issues either under or over cooked or just oddball pies. The chicken and salad bar were fantastic but not the reason for the visit, we were there for pizza. The table service was bad bad this time. We had 6 dirty plates on the table next to us and some dirty on our table too that were being collected. There was staff goofing off at the kitchen doors and around the buffet but not being an asset to the business. With all the similar places to eat there isnt a reason to go back.

Too expensive!! Pizza is mostly bread with little toppings. Dried out chicken. Salad bar messy, unattended, several items empty. Beverages are extra unless you want water. Dessert is fruit pizza, again, mostly bread; ice cream with no toppings and no cones; they put out a little chocolate chip cookie cut in 6 pieces about every 20 to 30 minutes, but 1 family takes it all. Table and plates never cleared, we had to pile on nearby tables. Almost $100 with tip for 2 adults and 3 kids, 12, 11, 10. It was not the first visit, but it was definitely the last. Will not be returning.

The desserts are better than the pizza, but as you said, edible. If you have a family to feed, it’s great because everyone finds something they like at the buffet for comparatively low $$$. If you are looking for NY style pizza, Need Pizza downtown is your best bet. That said, I genuinely like the dessert pies at Pizza Ranch. I typically pass on apple pie elsewhere, but at Pizza Ranch, especially when it is fresh and warm from the kitchen? Yum! Another good thing is they do group fundraisers where they give a portion of the proceeds. This is especially great if you have a kids group like Little League. Kids get their choice of unlimited pizza, and it helps fund the organization. Even better in the “off season”. A weeknight trip to Pizza Ranch can help fight cabin fever. And like almost everywhere in CR, parking is easy. Yup. There’s some good things in CR.

Pizza Ranch never disappoints! The food was just as delicious as always, even with how packed it was last night. The staff did an incredible job keeping all the stations refreshed and stocked—super impressive given the crowd.

My wife absolutely loved the fish; it was so good it even brought a tear to her eye. Our special needs son couldn’t get enough of the dessert, and we couldn’t help but call him our little “sweetie boy” all night. Our little one was adventurous, trying a bit of everything, but the cookie pizza stole her heart—she looked up at me with the biggest smile and said, “It’s so yummy, Daddy!” That moment alone was worth the trip.

As for me? The fried chicken was on point, just how I like it. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor.

Place was surprisingly dirty. Booth was not cleaned between customers. Floors were messy. Surprisingly the bathrooms were the cleanest part of restaurant. When Pizza Ranches first started to open in the area I was not a huge fan. The pizza was not my favorite at that time. Now though I have grown to enjoy the franchise. They have amazing chicken, one of the few places you can still enjoy a good salad bar, as well as a pizza salad bar. I have even grown to enjoy the pizza. This location always seems to be busy. They even accommodated my youth soccer team a few years back on a busy Saturday. Overall a great place to fill up.

And it was a good deal in my opinion, for the price! Would definitely visit again and I would recommend to anyone! I love buffets and hate that they are dying out, this felt very nostalgic lol.

I didn’t mind the food, the pizza and chicken were good. It was another quick place to get some food for a good price. We went around dinner time, and the staff was having a hard time keeping up with customers they had. The food was scarce.

Highly recommend pizza ranch in general. This location is the bomb.com!! They have a drive-up window for pickup orders. So very conveniently located near kalahari, great wolf lodge, etc. delicious food! They participate in the rewards app/program. Very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, thorough. Highly recommend!! Delicious pizza, chicken, chicken wings, dessert pizza, etc.

We always look forward to eating here when we make our annual trip to the Dells. The device is great very affordable. Unlike other buffets this one is kept very clean lot of great options other than pizza. The bathrooms though not very clean my daughter decided to hold going till we got back to our hotel. We stayed 3 nights and ate here 2 of the 3 nights. Great fried chicken. Desert pizza very tasty. We will definitely be back our next visit.
