I came in here as my first time at a buffet, and I was expecting a lot. which they did have a lot. so I paid for myself went to get my food and sat down and started eating. I got chicken, so I was happy. but my first bite in the chicken there’s something soft and chewy in the center of the chicken. I stopped in, dropped the food out of my mouth. at least I had something to eat.

Went at 4:00 in the afternoon which admittedly is a little of an in-between time. The selection of flavored wings was almost empty when we got there and remained empty for the entire time that we were there. By the time we were left there were quite a few people eating and still no barbecue wings or the sweet chili wings. Kind of disappointing. Also, the fried Chicken that was on the buffet seemed a bit dry, probably been there since lunch.

stopped on 8/23 with my family and it was GREAT!! The buffet was full and I even got my favorite by ordering a buffet your way! Tanya, at the register, suggested I add another topping and it was awesome! It was packed, but our dirty plates were always cleared and the buffet was full. Come here with coworkers every so often as it's a great place to get a bunch of food pretty quickly over the lunch hour. Staff is always very friendly and keeps the buffet well stocked, I have never seen it low. We also love going here for dinner with our toddler. He is sometimes a picky eater and the buffet gives us plenty of variety to give him to fill him up!

First time to Pizza Ranch and was very impressed. The young lady at the counter was so pleasant and had AWESOME customer service ( Sunday, 8/10 at 2pm). Pizza was good and hot but the fried chicken was to die for! Restaurant was clean! Buffet was clean! The young gentleman clearing the plates was prompt and friendly. They even gave my son a mini cookie pizza for his birthday and decorated the box. Would definitely go here again. I'm typically not a fan of buffets in general but this place is my exception! Traveling through Verona… The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was and how well stocked the buffet was. The food was appealing and hot! I was greeted immediately by Ginger with a smile and a hello, she made small talk conversation with me while she took my order, she is probably one of the sweetest people I’ve encountered in a restaurant. Children's buffet prices are ridiculous. They charge an adult price for kids 11 (YES 11) and older. Neither of my kids eat more than one small plate at 10 and 13 y/o. Table busser constantly interrupts and reaches across the table for any empty plates or partly empty even as you are eating from them. They should be trained on table etiquette. $17.99 for a lunch buffet for kids is outrageous.

June 12, 2025. Lyndon needs an attitude adjustment. I sat here with my family. He passed by the middle section we were in as well as the booths. He was standing on the other side of the wall. He is not a positive individual.

Please hire people who are positive. This is the second time my family and I have been here with someone busing the tables and has been rude to others.

Gabbie is rude to coworkers and customers. She needs to change her attitude or find a job outside of customer service.

First time going to this location, second time to ever go to a pizza ranch.

Came after they had a fire so it looks very nice in and out. Clean and simple.
Staff was pleasant and friendly and accommodating.
Tables were clean. Restaurant over all was very clean.

Food.....lack luster. My fiancee and I both agreed on how is this place still in business. One answer. The towns sports park is across the street. So before or after a sporting event would be able to keep this place in business.
Chicken was delicious though like amazing for buffet chicken. Moist and crispy.
Pizza... Flavor would be a 7/10. There were options but if you're getting the pizza off the buffet then kinda lack luster as it dries out quick. Pizza toppings and flavors were pretty good....crust was cardboard. Seasonings were inconsistent. Pizzas were kinda bland, edible and tasty but kinda lack luster. A quantity vs quality. The pizza/cheese breads were heavily flavorful/seasoned. Would have been better If it had a cheese/marinara sauce for them to be dipped in.
Options for the salad bar or sides for the chicken were lacking. Pizza ranch as far as a buffet should have more options.

Over all would be great options for families with kids or something simple after a sport/school event.

Went in with my family and Lee was very very unprofessional. I have two small kids and she was loud cussing and commented on me looking pregnant got mad because we came in at 8pm told us numerous times we had until 8:50 made us feel every uncomfortable. Always great service. This restaurant is really clean. Staff do a great job keeping buffet full while keeping dinning area clean. Bonus, one the wait staff was bringing out food and had to sneeze. I ordered a pizza through DoorDash tonight, as I do multiple times a month. Unfortunately, when the order arrived, half of the cheese was missing from my cheese pizza. I called the restaurant to let them know and asked if they could remake it—I was even willing to drive the 30 minutes to pick it up myself. It was also really cold when it got here..m

The female manager I spoke with told me I would need to go through DoorDash for a refund, and if I wanted a new pizza, I’d have to pay for it again. I mentioned that I’d had an issue once before and the restaurant had kindly remade the order. She then made a comment along the lines of, “Yeah, Matt said you’ve called before,” which felt like an insinuation that I frequently complain—something that is absolutely not true.

When I asked her to clarify what she meant, and explained that I had one problem years ago and they remade the pizza and I picked it up and she responded with, “That’s not what I’m saying.” ok...what was she saying then? I would have brought the messed up pizza with me. I wasnt trying to get free food, but thats how she made me feel. Like I was trying to scam them out of a pizza which is absolutely ridiculous. I literally order multiple times a month. The interaction felt dismissive and she was extremely rude. My pizza was messed up, and she didn’t even offer an apology. The tone and attitude she had were completely unnecessary. If she had been nice and apologetic—even if I still had to go through DoorDash and they couldnt remake the pizza—I wouldn’t be upset. It’s not the "policy" that bothers me; it’s entirely her attitude that turned the whole situation horrible. She literally made me feel like I'm a horrible person for complaining about my messsd up pizza. This interaction completely soured the five-plus years of consistently good experiences I’ve had with this location.

(Deleted my previous 5 star review I made back in 2021 to make this new updated 1 star review. Also wish I would have told my BF to wait to eat the cheeseless pizza slices before I got pictures but i wasn't even sure I was going to leave a new review so I only have one picture showing the missing cheese. First impression for me was not expecting much. I've been to about a dozen Pizza Ranch locations in multiple states and the food selection here was limited compared to most. My first trip they had only the basics out (pepperoni, cheese, cheese
sticks) but I was surprised and impressed by the next plate they had squeezed quite a few pizzas out of a decent variety. The food was fresh and the staff was friendly. Overall I would recommend this location.

Had a very good experience here, thanks to Kirk! We've always loved Pizza Ranch's buffet, so we tried takeout the other week. They'd just re-opened recently and were running behind that day, but we were met with great service from an employee—Kirk was courteous and professional. We were given a complimentary cookie *and* to-go cups for fountain drinks in thanks for our patience. For those unfamiliar, a pizza ranch cookie is multiple servings, about the size of a large dinner plate. I'm not sure I've ever been so happy to wait for takeout; we'll definitely be coming back~

We went there prior to the fire (sorry that happened), but we had a terrible experience. I've never seen a more dirty and nasty restaurant in my life. The floors were full of crumbs, the tables were filthy, and the chairs...gross. At the buffet, the food was decent, but the overall atmosphere did not feel right. We informed the staff about bringing out more pizza and they did, so there's a positive. If there is a reopening of this location, hopefully it can provide a better experience than last time.

Since our last visit in June 2022, I am happy to report the buffet is back better than ever! Ice cream seems higher quality, very creamy and smooth. Chicken is still the star and the mashed potatoes, gravy and corn complement it nicely. Pizzas were good and you can place a special order pizza for the food bar when you order your buffet. It does take about 15 minutes for the pizza to cook and get onto the food bar. The normal buffet price is up a bit at $15.95 per person, but only $12.99 Sunday after 5pm.
