Great time had by all from my 10 year old son to his 77 year old Nana, and his 41 year old Momma! This place really has something for everyone. Even my Mom who has to have a cardiac diet got more than she could eat from just the salad bar alone! There was also a nice selection of pizza with only vegetables for toppings actually on the buffet, beyond the standard "supreme" kind.

The buffet had mostly thin crusts (this time, not always) and while they aren't really my thing, they weren't bad. There was a stuffed crust tho and that is amazing!
-I know I could have requested a pizza, just didn't feel like it this time.

We went to pizza ranch in waupun today, chicken was not cooked, let the lady at front counter know she took it and said she would let them know. We waited for another batch of chicken, I went up and a thigh was actively bleeding in the pan. I took it out and took it up to her and again she went to the kitchen. Next thing I heard a man say I don't care, I tempted it...well sir if you don't care I will take a refund and head elsewhere and make sure everyone I know knows what happened there today. We will never be back.

I'm still dancin' and hearing the awesome song (Gloria by Laura Brannigan) that greeted us walking in last night! I took a moment to dance in the entryway. It set a delightful first impression and energizing tone for rest of our meal. That playlist fed this woman's soul, spirit, and heart. (Yep, spent lots of years on a dance floor once upon a time...and still love moving to music.) Then, we requested a gluten-sensitive crust, vegetarian, no-cheese pizza that a friendly person was happy to assist with. Salad bar was fresh with all expected toppings. Husband, not vegetarian, enjoyed the other buffet items, also. This was a delightful wrap-up to a full Saturday of travels. So perfect. Thank you!

Do you know what’s better than Cactus Bread? More Flavors of Cactus Bread!!! 😻😂 They had a new (for me anyway!) flavor of pizza. I didn’t ask what they called it but it was maybe a Teriyaki stir fry and I thought it was Wonderful! It was sweet with crunchy veggies and just a bit of heat from spices! Excellent!

Arrived there at a less busy time today(Sunday) after church with my family & unfortunately was "welcomed" by who I believe was the manager.(I sure hope it wasn't though) He didn't greet us or even ask how many people were dining in. Just stood there...To add to the excitement, I was having trouble using a visa gift card which I was sure had funds & each time I swiped the card, he would just say "denied." He looked frustrated from beginning to end, so I asked him for a minute to try & resolve the issue. He left, but when I was ready to pay agan, he sent someone else to deal with me. This young gentleman that he sent sure set an example for manager of how to treat others. Issue was resolved quickly with young man's great attitude and patience. It was about 4pm already and there was still breakfast items out. The French toast was stale. There was a small variety of pizza and the dessert pizza wasn't fresh. $54 we paid for an awesome greeting and little amount of food. Service everywhere is really going downhill. Never again.

My daughter and I came in during a slow period. They came to our table to see what fresh pizza we wanted and went to quickly make us a fresh pizza. Mercedes was wonderful! I called a couple hours ahead to let them know I was bringing in a hungry high school baseball team around noon. She was ready for us and gave us a separate room to relax in. Unfortunately another baseball team arrived right before we did and she didn’t know they were coming. They had plenty of food continuously being brought out so we had plenty of options. We came from out of town and were unfamiliar with Waupun..needed to get a bite to eat so stopped at Pizza Ranch. The entrance was not well marked, so we wound up in the wrong door. It was very dark inside, so we were unsure if it was open..
The counter person was polite, but not overly friendly. Not rude, just not necessarily interested.
The food looked old and many of the toppings on the salad bar looked unsafe. I am very familiar with food service and I am very sure that they were past expiration dates.
Even though the dining room was mostly empty, there were no places to sit as all the tables were dirty.
I definitely can not recommend this place.

I enjoy Pizza Ranch because you can order whichever pizza you desire and they'll bring you as many slices as you want, with the crust style you want, and any remaining pizza will be put on the buffet. You get to try a variety of pizzas for one price, which is very reasonable. I believe it was around $14/adult. They have great choices on their salad bar. There are so many options to choose from, or choose them all! The hot bar has broasted chicken, homemade chips, mashed taters, stuffing, gravy, and a hot veggie. They offered fried fish and chicken noodle soup, which was as hot as the surface of the sun. The dessert bar had four different dessert pizzas and a chocolate chip cookie pizza, which was warm, a little soft, with crispy edges. Delicious! The staff were on top of picking up dirty plates, and the restaurant was clean. The ice cream machine was out of order on our visit. All you can eat for a decent price.

We tried to order online in order to get a deal, it continuously said ERROR. Because time was wasting, I phoned an order in, I was told I couldn't get the deal. When we picked the pizzas up, the boxes were barely warm. It took 15 minutes to get them home. The pizzas were barely warm. The cheese wasn't even stringy anymore. For a $15 buffet I wasn't impressed. First the bottoms of some of the plates had food gunk on them. After I made a salad I couldn't find the Italian dressing (pretty common for any salad bar) a worker said they would get it in a week. Doesn't do me any good now. Half of the pizza looked like it had been there a while. The chicken and mash were good. There wasn't much for deserts. The soft serve only had a tiny cup to put it in no cones. Ended up taking a cup from the soup to fill with the soft serve as I saw another customer do exactly that. Personally wouldn't visit here again just too expensive for what you get.

Terrible meal. On the salad bar, the lettuce was brown. The pizza was dried out. The mash potatoes were dry and crusted on top. The noodles were sitting in water and mushy. The chicken was dried out from being under the lights. When I asked if they were bringing out fresh chicken, she said yes. They brought it out. I took a breast. When I broke it open, the chicken was pink and blood inside. We took it up front and also told them that they needed to take off the chicken it was not done. If you were to compare PR today, and PR when it first opened. I'd say it's gone way downhill. Empty buffet for long amounts of time.

The game room may as well just be a prizeless arcade or close. It's the same games mostly from the opening. I threw in $20 just cuz, the amount of tickets that gets ya a 10 cent prize from a machine. There's no ticket counter with prizes. Just a machine now.
