First time getting PJs and it was an absolutely amazing experience. We ordered and we waited the lady at the front who took I it order asked if my son wanted to back and see the pizzas cooking and then gave him a bottled water to stay hydrated in the hot weather that day. First off, huge fan here. This place rocks. Everyone who works and runs this place is top notch and genuinely cares about the people they serve. I live in Middleton and they deliver. They once even brought pizzas for my sons birthday party and when I told them that, they also brought a little brown bag of candy for him. If ever there is a problem they fix it or credit my order (not that this happens often, but we are all human). Great pizza, awesome wings, specialty pizzas are absolutely amazing and the Philly canzone should be on the top of everyone's "fun food" list. Try it. This place rocks! Let's keep them in business!

Food was mediocre and then there was the staff. Who I thought was friendly. Then they profiled me after I left. I was driving home, I get a call, it's them, ACCUSING ME OF STEALING TIPS! Pizzas were just okay. Skimpy toppings, they clearly use canned mushrooms which is disappointing, very little chicken on the pizza compared to other pizza places. Pizzas were also pretty bland, neither of them had much flavor (buffalo chicken and the Hawaiian pizza). Their breadsticks however were probably the best breadsticks we've had from a pizza place, airy and soft and not greasy at all. For the price/quality, we probably won't be back.

Good pizza but be aware on orders over $100 there is a MANDATORY 20% GRATUITY regardless of how you pay and if you pick it up, it's solely because of it being an order of over $100. They also don't tell you this at time of order. How thoughtful since we only brought enough cash with to cover what you said the total was. So split your large orders!!!

My kids and I tried this place for the first time last night. My 9yr old son said "wow! These guys are better than Pizza Hut and Domino's combined! Give them 60 stars!"
And my 3yr old daughter who typically isn't a huge fan of pizza and is kind of a picky eater, scarfed everything down no problem!
PJ's is definitely our new favorite Pizza place. A little pricy, sure, but worth every penny! Oh, and the delivery wasn't only on time, it was earlier than the quoted time. The driver was very friendly and had great customer service.

The apple turnover type breadsticks are heavenly! The pizza and regular breadsticks were high above average.
You could taste how much love was put into every bite.
My son wanted the leftovers for breakfast this morning.

If you haven't tried this pizza yet, you are missing out TERRIBLY. I have never felt so strongly about a pizza before (the chicken wings as well), I am quite literally ready to start a religion around the flavors I received upon my taste buds today. The pizza was SO good that my baby (I am currently pregnant with) who I've only felt a few kicks from here and there- was doing backflips in my stomach over how delicious this pizza was. If you haven't stopped reading this review to order your pizza you need to get it together and order it already. I'll say it again for those in the back- perfect crust, fresh toppings, amazing cheese and sauce. If I hadn't already chosen a name for my baby, I would be naming him PJ.

I was really disappointed in the flavor of the sauce on my pizza. Very bland. You know how some sauces are sweet and some are spicy. This was neither. Could have been plain, unseasoned tomato paste for all I know. Cheese was also a little on the bland side.

Bread sticks appeared to have a lot of butter/cheese slathered on them but both me and my 11 year old could only taste bread. It was odd.

That being said, the actual dough for the breadsticks and pizza is PHENOMENAL.

Normally I would give PJS a 5 star as it never disappoints the food is so delicious!!! I’m not sure what has happened over the past couple of weeks but since this was the 2nd time in the past week I couldn’t help but post since calling really gets you no where as far as accountability. The first experience was finding a hair in my pizza. I got the small 7 inch pizza and on my 3rd slice I pulled a long black hair out of my mouth, I am blonde. I was not mad but I knew that the dough is pre made so I wanted them to know. I did not ask for refund or replacement but after the woman on the phone kept talking in circles and saying things like “stuff happens, accidents happen” yes they do but hair in food is almost no acceptable in my books. Now today. I order a club sub, quite often. I ask for no ham. Normally this sub is full of meat, Mayo dripping so never have I thought to ask for double or anything nor extra add on’s. I get my sub today and could not believe that this was made this way. I did call for a replacement as I couldn’t believe it and I felt like I was wrong in asking for one. Hopefully this doesn’t continue happening because I would be upset to not be able to call on PJS !

EDIT: They did everything to fix this and now that I do not live in CP I miss ordering my subs!

I preordered a bunch of pizzas and breadsticks for my son’s 4th bday party the Wednesday before his party. The day of the party the time had past when the pizza should have been delivered. I called PJs and found out they accidentally put the order in for a later weekend in the month. The owner went above and beyond and got everything in my order cooked and delivered to my house in record time. My husband and I had no problem paying as it ended up only being a hour or so later from when we originally wanted them delivered. She would not accept my payment and gave them to us for free. I was shocked and did not expect that. I found her customer service to be exemplary and everyone loved the pizza. We all know mistakes happen, but she went above and beyond and I will recommend them to anyone!

The fact that this is the only pizza place (that I'm aware of) that delivers to Mazomanie (despite Pizza Hut in Sauk City being a similar distance) automatically makes this a special place. The food is good (although a tad too garlicky on the crust/sauce, but that's a personal preference), the service is prompt and the wait times are pretty clearly conveyed. I appreciate their willingness to travel a little bit to their customers and I always try to pay that forward to the drivers.

They make a resonable pie. It's nothing amazing but it's also not bad. I tried the spicey chicken broccoli and it was alright. The Alfredo sauce could be more unique and the spice level could have been higher. With that said we ate most of the pizza. Again, it wasn't super unique or exceptional in flavor. It was just okay.
I've tried their Mac and cheese bake and it was also just okay. It was a little too much cheese and like the pizza it had nothing special or unique to the flavor. It was just okay.
I look forward to trying a classic pizza and updating my review. Hopefully their classic marinara sauce is unique.

Placed a scheduled delivery for some pizza today during the Packer Game. Got a call about 10 minutes prior to my delivery time to let me know they accidentally overlooked our order. They gave an update it was going in the oven, needed about 10 minutes to cook and they'd send it right out. They apologized numerous times on the phone and again upon delivery. The food here is good, but when we pick up our food the workers are some of the rudest workers I have ever encountered (everytime). Even though they have an entrance into the apartments above their location, they still charge the $5 delivery fee. So, we pick up our food each time, and they are always rude.

It is especially annoying because we have to deal with their delivery drivers flying down the street and almost hitting us head on going around the corner. The red car has almost hit me several times.

I would rather pick up my pizza in Madison than deal with the rude workers here.

I've ordered from here many times, almost every time I've ordered pickup my order isn't ready until 10 or 15 minutes after the estimated time. I'm currently standing in the restaurant writing this review 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. To make this worse, the restaurant itself is incredibly bare. It has one single bench, and looks empty not having a single table. Not to mention, the TV in the lobby is always playing classic Westerns, so take that for what it's worth.

I would give a better review for the actual food. But the last three times we have ordered pizza for delivery it has taken well OVER 2 HRS to get pizza! Just tonight I called and was told it was leaving as we spoke...that was 35 minutes ago...we live 15 minutes from their location!!!! Great food.... HORRIBLE delivery service!!!! Will drive to middleton or waunakee next time we want pizza for dinner!

Saw a review mention Tanos as "unfriendly," which has yet to come true for us.

We had a pizza ordered for later, but the ticket didn't print the time, so the order was made and delivered ASAP. When I called about the mistake, Tanos remedied the situation by offering a price concession on a future order.

Since there are numerous nationally-competing pizza chains in the Madison-surrounding area, it's nice to have a small WI-owned pizza company that can make a great pizza and takes care of their customers.

These guys are so UN-customer-friendly. Yuck, they don’t even TRY to make you feel like you’re not a complete pain in their a$$! Can’t ever get an order straight either. Not sure about their other locations, but Tanos in Cross Plains does not even deserve the one star I had to give in order to write this review.

Pizza was great, chicken wings were good and the cinnamon sticks were amazing. We ordered delivery for Mazomanie, and it arrived roughly 30-45 minutes after the estimated time arrival-however it was a busy weekend so I think it came within a reasonable amount of time. Delivery driver was very nice!

Pizza always takes so long to get to my house, And I live right in Cross Plains. Also, I almost always ask for sour cream and NEVER get it. Our pizza and calzones are always over cooked or don't taste right. And their customer service sucks. Get frustrated when they have to call me instead of ring our buzzer because our buzzer is broken. They ask us to fix it. We ask our landlord to fix it, but he hasn't yet. And they complain every time I order about it. I hope they can get their issues straightened out because when I first started ordering from them when we moved here 2 years ago, their food was so good! I just want the quality food we started ordering 2 years ago.

I ordered a large 1 topping pizza and it has now been 1 hr and 35 minutes and it is still not here. Called them 10 min ago and was told by the manager "what do you want me to do? I am trying to do what I can with what I have. Do you want your pizza or not?" I have a 7 year old daughter waiting here for supper. Supposedly he said he would comp our order and they are still bringing it.
