I can't tell you how much I love this place enough! I have been coming here since I have been a kid and I am 54 years old now lol. And what is even better about this place now than before is the food is definitely better even though it was good in the past. Outstanding Burgers....the best in the state! Everything is made fresh and delicious.

Pla-mor Bar is everything you want in a classic Wisconsin stop. We ordered the steak, pretzels, and a cheeseburger, and every bite was spot-on — the steak was juicy and flavorful, the pretzels came out warm and perfectly salted, and the burger had that homemade, can’t-beat bar style.
What really made the night though was the service. The staff here don’t just drop food at your table — they make the experience fun. They’ve got that rare mix of energy, friendliness, and quick wit that makes you feel like you’ve been coming here for years, even if it’s your first visit.
Between the food and the atmosphere, Pal Mar Bar easily earns its reputation for some of the best Wisconsin bar food around. We’ll definitely be back.

Service and drinks were top grade. Haven't tried the food yet but the chef really looked like he knew his field. You can actually watch him cook from the bar as you sit and have a cocktail. I checked out the menu, and was shocked to see that the prices seemed to be fair for this lake area being such an entitled social scene.

December 2022 (sorry for the late review) hosted our groom's dinner here. Fabulous food for 40 people (est.) all delicious, spectacularly home-made dinners, salads, appetizers. Throughout the planning process Sarah was patient. gracious, informative, flexible...just top notch all around! They handled everybody seemlessly from meat eaters to vegetarian to vegan. Next time I am in N Wisconsin, this is the only place I want to eat! I can't say enough about their food! I am drawing a blank on thr chef/owner's name but he and Sarah - they are running a true gem of s restaurant in these great woods!

Would not recommend anyone to go here. I grew up in the area and own multiple rental properties as well as my Own property on the lake. My Husband and I have been treated poorly each time we have gone in there.
The most recent was being told seats were reserved at the bar when I was just told we could sit there. other patrons walked and were allowed to take our spots while we went to park our boat. There also were only 6-8 people in the entire place. Not surprised why they have a lack of customers .
This was our last straw with the establishment which is a huge loss for their business. We were mocked by the patrons sitting at the bar when we left! I am from the area so the actions on behalf of the bartender at the establishment definitely shocked me. Good luck if you go here

Pla-Mor is one of our all-time favorite restaurants in the area! We drive up from Stone Lake every Valentine’s Day for their special dinner and make a point to eat a meal here every season. The food is on point — both apps and entrees, plus the staff is attentive and friendly. The owner even brought me behind the kitchen to hand-select my short rib for the Outsider Sandwich. Everything about this place is superb!!!

We recently bought a place in the Northwoods and have been to the Pla Mor several Saturday nights for dinner. Their menu is outstanding and you can get more than just fried bar food. Salads in vacation land??!! Yup. I’ve had the Salisbury steak a couple times and it’s so comforting🥰
We had the 🐟fish fry last night for the first time. Our waitress was attentive and appeared to enjoy her work. She suggested the 3 of us might want to get our order in quick before the large group near us did😉. The pollock was lightly battered, hot, and tasty. All you can eat, too! My 3 pieces were plenty but the guys accepted seconds from the piping hot tray that was brought around.
We’ve met the owners and they are the real deal.
This is a warm inviting place and you won’t go wrong.

Visited with my husband and friends for a basic dinner... I had a braised short rib sandwich on ciabatta with a garlic cream cheese, cilantro and red onion which I opted out of, along with a very crisp fresh lettuce salad, my hubby had a burger with parmesan fries, and our friends had chicken sandwiches and fries, along with the German pretzels that were amazing in their own rite. Our server was very attentive and accommodating, we couldn't of asked for better. We will be back the next time we're in the Namakogan area!

This used to be the place for prime rib on Saturday nights. However, last night Saturday, we had the worst prime rib, if it was prime rib. Bland, over cooked and the rest of party’s food was sub par. Very unusual and I hope not a continuing trend.

They were packed with sledder gangs on Saturday of Presidents Day weekend. They were staffed well, they really hustled, the food was delicious (The Boss with Parmesan Fries) and I was back in the trail in less rhan an hour. Mark it on your snowmobile map for sure!

Driving home from Bayfield and starving, this place showed up a little off our route but had great reviews. Soooo glad we stopped!!! Middle of nowhere but GREAT food!! Cheese curds..so good!! Waitress recommended the shrimp tacos which I would never have ordered myself. Got them... AMAZING!!! Everyone was happy at our table and the service was awesome!! It won't disappoint!

Under New Management and still killing it. Same crew as in the past so same great food. Plenty good for the locals and vacationers to rub elbows and trade fishing stories. No, they don't do the relish tray any more, but it was never the real reason you showed up. The quality of food and ambience more than make up for it. Manager is always making sure everything is perfect for you and their attention to detail is par to none.

Food is great and made with passion, brought 4 kids in with us a 6 year old 3 year old and two 2 year olds. Needless to say we weren’t easy to wait on, but staff was friendly and happy to help us any way they could. Highly recommend you check this place out if you want eat a great meal. We stopped for a late Sunday lunch and found great staff and great chef! We ordered burgers and the wedge salad! Delish! The burgers are grilled on a inside grill and done perfectly! Great bun and sides finish it off perfectly!!

We went on wing night, all you can eat. Busy but we got a seat quick. Wings are big and fair warning can be screaming hot temp wise. Simple breading on wings and fries or potato salad. I added buffalo sauce found on the table. Busy and noisy in bar but fun place.

Great Northwoods atmosphere Jess the Bartender Is always friendly and professional every visit. She makes you feel at home , and Steve the Chef in the one man kitchen is very fast and organized.
