Walked in and seated ourselves per the sign. It was Wednesday evening at 4:30pm, so not too busy. We left after 15 minutes of no one checking on us. No menus, no 'I'll be right there', no 'sorry about the wait'. I guess the hostess was too busy texting to find out where the wait staff does.

(Party of 2) We sat down to eat and ordered 2 drinks, one drink came out in an appropriate time. The other drink didn’t come out until after we were finished with our food…And when we finally got the drink that we had been waiting the entire dinner for, it was made made incorrectly. The waitress brought 2 waters that we didn’t ask for while we were waiting for our second drink. The food was delicious, but overall Not Happy. I come to plank regularly, and a big reason is one amazing server who truly stands out. She's fun-loving, upbeat, and has a contagious energy that instantly lifts the room. April always makes me laugh and brings a personal, joyful vibe to every table she serves. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does - and it shows.

That's why it was so upsetting to witness a recent incident where a customer completely overreacted. April mistakenly cleared a nearly empty drink and immediately offered to replace it - something any reasonable person would see as a kind gesture and good customer service. But instead of accepting the offer, this woman verbally attacked her, hurling vulgarities and continuing to harass her in a way that was totally out of line. It was very uncomfortable and uncalled for.

Good service is hard to find, and April consistently delivers it with heart & humor. People like her are the reason guests keep coming back.

To management: April is a gem. People like her are the reason guests keep coming back. Please support her and recognize her for the atmosphere and joy she brings to your establishment!

And to anyone reading this: be kind to service staff. Mistakes happen. What matters is how people respond - no one deserves this type of harassment.

Food was good for bar/grill type. Service was great until the end. We got the bill, paid and were given change. Then told we got the wrong bill and were given back more than we paid and after paying the other bill got an even $3 back with no receipt as to how the new amount was calculated. It should have been closer to $10. It was very confusing and could have been handled better by staff. I highly doubt the change equaled exactly $3 but we were never offered a receipt for how the transaction was handled. It was not handled very professionally and due to the rudeness of the server, the tip unfortunately went from $28 to the $3 we got back. Probably won’t be taking clients back there again or telling them that it’s as good as we used to.

I get that for a party of 8 they might charge an automatic gratuity but 20% is too much. Especially when our waitress who knows we are done eating takes forever to bring our bill and then takes forever to come back for our payment. Place was dead otherwise I'd understand since most places have a hard time getting enough help. And she even had the nerve to say we should leave an additional tip on top of the 20%. The bill had a 3% service charge on it also. Food was good but not that good.

I am here every week with friends for Thursday night Karaoke with Debbie. She is by far the best karaoke in the area. I really want to focus, though, on April, the ultimate server!! She knows all of our regular drinks, she is very attentive, and she is always a major part of making the whole atmosphere more welcoming and fun! Arrived at around 4:45 Friday, maybe 1/2 of the tables were taken. Plenty of servers around and yet it took 10 minutes to by acknowledged after being seated. Ordered a perch plate and baked haddock. Server brought a perch sandwich instead, had to wait while my date ate. Potatoes were warm, not hot, perch were very small and tasted of ‘old’ grease. Baked haddock, the thinnest I’ve seen. Cheese curds appetizer were ok. Total bill of $55.30 including the 3% ‘convenience fee’ for using a debit card. Definitely not worth it.

Fantastic outdoor area, nice bar area next to the outdoor stage. Good seating for enjoying the excellent selection of food offered. Good standard pub fair, grilled wings are good and the pizza is great. Many top local bands and several country performers brought in for the “Nash up” nights. If you like live music and good food this is a must and you will probably be back. Tip: Music usually starts at 6:30 and it gets busy. Get there by 6 to get a seat on music nights.
