Lots of games to play. $0.25 to play. Small menu but the food and drinks were good. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. You can walk around both levels to play games while eating and drinking but everything was clean. Tables and chairs throughout so you can sit to eat too. Fun night for the family or, like us, for a date night.

I stayed in GB for two weeks for work and came here almost every night. Staff is amazing, food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. They have a huge selection of old school arcade games but I came here for the pinball! 2:1 coins on Wednesday kept me there later than I should’ve been most nights! On my last night there Zack and (I think?) Alex expertly fixed machines and were super friendly the whole time, despite one of the instances being my own doing (got a ball stuck!) Kristina did a great job working the bar that night and drinks were great, even when I asked for cocktails that weren’t on the menu she did not hesitate! She was also a great conversationalist and didn’t seem bothered at all at my chattiness. At the end of the night I intended to walk back to my hotel which was only a few blocks away, as I had several nights before over the two weeks. However, this night there was a man acting weird on my path and I felt uncomfortable. The staff had been so friendly over the last 2 weeks I felt safer just going back and waiting a bit longer despite having to travel the next morning. I turned and walked back to the bar and asked if I could stick around for a few minutes in hopes he would leave the area. They said I absolutely could but also offered to have someone walk back with me. I didn’t want to be a bother but they insisted and Justin walked me back to my hotel and made sure I got there safely. Very protective when we approached the area where the questionable character was and otherwise a perfect gentleman the whole way.

I come to Green Bay probably once a year or so but I will always remember the kindness the staff showed me. Anytime I am in the area I will happily patronize this bar and will recommend it to all my friends, family, and colleagues when they are in the area!

Previously enjoyed player 2 so much that I couldnt wait to try their food and have more fun there.. until Christine had the worst attitude on the phone with me because she and her coworkers didnt want to do their job by making a to-go order over 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. She had a terrible attitude the minute she picked up, she lied, argued after she got caught in her lie, flat out refused to help because she didnt want to work. So, I asked her for her name and she hung up the phone. Absolutely terrible service simply because shes lazy.

We had a great time trying out some arcade machines, as they have a pretty good selection of games to play, unfortunately a few are showing there wear a bit when we were there on the older stuff but there pinball machines are top notch with a lot of newer ones so lots of cool things to try on them but be warned they require 2 tokens though... as well as a few other machines but still there a great place to grab a beer and maybe some chow with friends and hang out for a while if you're in the area 😉

Update: Machines are now regularly working, it's not often that they aren't. However lately a group of guys comes in starts games on pinball machines, and then in between balls wander to other machines and their friends, getting mad if you try to use one of the machines they have a halfway game on 🙄 staff does nothing and seem to know them. Food prices are still astronomical compared to other burgers downtown. But the games work and 2 for 1 tokens on Wednesday is great. Staff are friendly enough. Drinks are cheap. Not better, not worse.

Stopped by Player Two Arcade Bar on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time overall. It wasn’t too busy, which made it easy to hop on most of the games without a wait—big plus. The game selection is a nostalgic dream, but a few machines were out of order, which was a little disappointing.

Drinks were solid, the atmosphere was fun without being overwhelming, and the staff was friendly. It’s a great place to kill a couple of hours, especially if you’re into retro gaming. With a little more maintenance on the machines, this place would be an easy be five stars.

We got kicked out for being too loud with our kids........we were the only people in the bar. Horrible bartender. Horrible service. It was 430 on a Monday, NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE BAR BUT US. Who cares who loud we were at Rock Star!?

Edit: no one was running. Two children were SITTING at the table playing Mario Cart under the supervision of 3 adults, while the 3rd child was standing with an adult playing rock band. No one made any mention of running, the only thing we were told is the child playing rock band was being too LOUD when she was cheering for her high score. No mention of any bad behavior other then the child cheering too loudly. It's a 4 minute game, she played one song. There were 4 adults and 3 children, they were well supervised the entire time, did not break anything and at no point was anyone running 🙄

The kitchen truly closes unusually early, and they certainly DO NOT serve food until 12:00 on any day of the week. They close even earlier than normal when the Packers play at home because they don't want football fans going in there after the game. I suspect they will shut down completely for the NFL Draft. Don't bother going there.

Also, all the games are broken, and nobody who works there has a clue how to fix them.

The best thing about this place used to be the availability of cheeseburgers after 8:00. The kitchen now closes at the same absurdly early hour as every other restaurant in Green Bay. 👎

Look, I've been there repeatedly, food and drinks are good, and I have fun with the games. However, and this does make a big difference to me, no establishment that is picky about music should have a jukebox. I put off this review thinking it was a one time occurrence, but it wasn't, apparently. This review comes after the 3rd time having my music that I paid to play rejected from being played, and no one aside from staff was there to be bothered by it. I never played any "crazy stuff," the songs were System of a Down one night, an unknown but similar band the other, and last night, classic country was requested by my grandma that was with me. As a heavy music lover, I do understand when places don't want straight up death metal or something. I get it. However, if my music is rejected when it's one of the most normal rock/metal bands out there, or country from the 80s, which is also very normal, consider removing the jukebox if you are just going to skip it. It isn't nice to give guests the illusion of choice with music when you'll just deny it.

The games and the beer were the only redeeming quality, hence the two stars...not the food, and surely not the manager. The jalapeno poppers were not what we expected as they tasted sour, having a special house made cream cheese, as described by the manager, instead of the "cream cheese" as stated on the menu. When we let the manager know we were put off by the sour taste, and after trying one herself to affirm the flavor, she stated she couldn't take it off bill since she already put in the order. It's absurd to pay for something that was less than satisfactory. Would not recommend.

What a great place to play some games and meet new people! There aren't many tables on the first floor, but with two stories, finding a place to eat is no problem.

The food has been delicious every time. Crispy fries and the Deadpool burger, (light on the ghost pepper sauce!) is my go-to.

The only big downside is trying to find a parking spot. But even then, walking a few blocks in that area is quite enjoyable if the weather permits!

Whether I'm jamming out at Guitar Hero with my brother, or destroying the Dr. Mario high scores.. I try to stop in whenever I'm nearby. Keep your P2 coins in your car!

Duuuuuude, Player 2 Arcade Bar is TOTALLY RADICAL! If you're into the retro scene, this place is like stepping straight into the 80s! As soon as you walk in, you're hit with those old-school vibes—I'm talking tabletop Pac-Man, skee ball for days, and more pinball machines than your brain can even handle! Seriously, it's like being transported back to the golden age of arcades.

And bro, they've got all the classics! You got Tapper, Galaga, Q-Bert, Double Dragon, and so much more! It's like a who's who of legendary games. I was expecting maybe a few gems, but man, they went full throttle here—you're gonna want to try 'em all.

Now let's talk DRINKS! These bad boys are as epic as the games, with names straight outta comic books and video games. The cocktails were cheap, delicious, and every one of 'em had some nerdy twist that made it feel like I was drinking a power-up potion. *"Dark Knight Martini?"* Oh yeah, sign me up.

The decor? 10/10, no joke. Old comic book covers lining the walls? Genius! It's like drinking in a comic store crossed with an arcade, and it WORKS. You’ll find yourself staring at the walls between games just soaking in the details.

Bottom line: Player 2 Arcade Bar is a totally tubular time warp that you can't miss. Grab your quarters and your crew—you're in for one gnarly ride, dude!

My friends and I were somewhat regular visitors to the Appleton location a few years back but this was our first time at the Green Bay location and we loved it!! The vibes here were so cool, I loved how there were so many games upstairs. It's just a neat building in general! It's really classy. The games all played well and seem very well taken care of, they're very reasonably priced (25 cents=1 token for most games, Pinball is 2 tokens). We left around 10 pm and it wasn't too crowded, at least not yet, so showing up earlier like we did may be worth considering if you wanna avoid the prime time hours and the larger crowds that come with it (possible longer wait to play your favorite game). We will definitely be back! One suggestion- it would be cool to get NHL Open Ice ☺️

Went to Player 2 in downtown Green Bay tonight for my friend birthday party.
This location has a jukebox machine on the wall where you can insert money or link your app to play music.
I put in $20 for 50 Credits (roughly 25 songs) I didn’t realize I would get so many credits in the moment but I went with it.
My friend and I started queuing up music that our friend would enjoy for their birthday celebration.
We had about 8 out of 25 song queued up and only 1.5 had played before the machine displayed a “Paused” screen and stopped playing our music I had paid for.
We waited a minute to see if the machine was having technical issues, then brought the issue to the attention of the bouncer who told me that the bartenders paused the music to listen to their own stuff. Fine, if they don’t want to listen to my music I’d like my money back. I asked a bartender about it and they told me they are required to skip certain kinds of songs or music giving metal as an example. The songs that had played were “Crave” by Paramore and about half of “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan, both very far from “metal music”
They explained to me that they had to pause the music and they could manually play whatever I had queued up, I would just have to tell them what to play. I explained to them how that was the best plan because I had at least 20+ more songs I had already paid for and it wouldn’t be easy for me to tell them what song to play next that many times, so I asked for my money back. They explained that they couldn’t do that and then eventually just unpaused the machine after I wouldn’t stop complaining. In the time I had been talking to them, someone else had queued up a Pierce The Veil song that would be considered “metal”
About 20 seconds into that song they paused it again and received a little “Boooooo” from the crowd at the bar. They then put up an “Out of Order” sign (pictured below) and told me that they’re leaving it paused the rest of the night and still refused to give me a refund. The sign mentions “overuse” but only 2.5 songs played before they paused it. If it would’ve been less than $5 I would just cut my losses, but $20, cmon.
I can only describe the people that I interacted with as such-
A middle aged woman with reddish hair in a green shirt, and a young African American woman with long braids and a Denver Broncos jersey. These were the bartenders I had less than favorable interactions with.
And the bouncer, a tall blonde man with facial hair. He explained this isn’t the first time an incident like this has happened and he was very understanding with me in my situation. No fault to be placed on the bouncer, he even offered me a shot as compensation.

In all honesty, I didn't eat here because I arrived late and had already had dinner. I hear the food is good but I hadn't come to eat, it was all about the games for me. I grabbed a Mountain Dew and a cup of tokens and hit the machines.

They have a really nice selection of pinball and video games. A lot of places claim to have a old video games but when you go there, they only have stuff from the 90s but these folks go all the way back to Space Invaders. I spent about 3 hours playing Frogger, Tron, and Dig Dug along with a variety of other great games.

My only disappointment was that the sound on Tron wasn't working and I had been humming the music from the game all day once I knew they had one and I was really looking forward to hearing it. That may sound weird but if you're an old school gamer, you'll probably understand. But in the big scheme of things, that was a non-factor. This place is awesome.

The only real thing that I will say to watch out for is something that has nothing directly to do with Player 2 and I'm willing to bet that they hate it too, but you need to know if you visit. The first night I went there, I arrived about 10:30 and hadn't planned on staying for 3 hours. When I was done and went outside, I found I had a $40 parking ticket. It was my fault. The sign said that the parking was only good until midnight and I left my car there so the ticket was legit. I just can't help but wonder how the city thinks they are encouraging people to come downtown and enjoy local businesses when they ticket people parked in front of those businesses after midnight on a Friday. Like I said, I can't imagine this is good for business so I'm guessing they hate this as well.

That being said, don't let that keep you away. Just be careful where you park and get down there, get some tokens and a soda and have a blast.

I didn't experience the food or service so I cannot comment on it, but the fact that a place like this exists is exciting. The games brought me back to my childhood and the atmosphere was on point. I like that they all had modernish games as well as retro games. The only thing I would say is to bolster the current inventory of games with some cabinets from a little later also. I was missing some favorites from a later age like Killer Instinct Gold, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and TMNT 2 to name a few. As a hobby retro multicade creator this place is a dream come true.

This place was amazing! It was my first time going for my birthday and we got like 40 tokens for ten bucks! The drinks were all so delicious and the food was cooked very well I really enjoyed their fries and onion rings.

Some of the games were malfunctioning like the ski ball and a couple of others. I like the variety though. The bartender working Sunday afternoon was super nice and helpful.

Visited here for my sister's birthday and we all had a great time! Great selection of games, good drinks, and the food was out of this world! So much so that we werebtalking about the burgers days after our visit. Seeing all the retro games brought back such happy memories of staying up until the early morning hours, playing video games with my sister. We'll definitely be back!

I had a pretty good experience. They were able to get us our arcade tokens in a very fast and polite manner. The arcade was something out of an 80s nostalgia movie. The games are so fun and old fashioned. Now I see why my parents loved the 80s

Bar was awesome! Do not go to the rabbit hole they will steal your ID and not give it back. They will make you freeze to death while the police show up. Only bad part about the bar is the gosh darn orange button. Awesome place!!!! The rabbit hole is so so so bad tho!!!!!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Player 2 arcade bar for a bachelor party and let me just say, it exceeded all of my expectations. As a lover of old school games and pinball machines, I was in heaven. The atmosphere was lively and nostalgic, with neon lights and classic arcade sounds filling the air.

But what really blew me away was their feature of playing Super Mario Kart on a big screen. It was like stepping back into my childhood and reliving some of my favorite memories. And the fact that they had a variety of games to choose from made it even better.

Not only were the games top-notch, but the prices were also reasonable. It's rare to find a place that offers both entertainment and affordability, but Player 2 nails it. And let's not forget about the drinks. They were not only creative and unique, but they were also named after superheroes. How cool is that?

But what really sets Player 2 apart is their food. It's not your typical bar food, but rather elevated dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. I highly recommend trying their loaded fries and their signature burgers. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Overall, Player 2 is the perfect spot for anyone looking to have a fun night out. Whether you're a gamer, a foodie, or just looking for a good time, this place has it all. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. I can't wait to go back and create even more amazing memories. 5 stars all around for Player 2 arcade bar.

How fun is this place? We stopped by to check it out and we're blown away by the variety of games and number of pinball. So many of the classics and a very fun skeeball set up. Newbies be aware - this is a location that utilizes their own tokens so there isn't a change machine! Go up to the bar to get your tokens and a Spotted Cow on draft. Menu looked very good, but we were already full so. We didn't get a chance to try it out. Upstairs offers even more gaming options and a fun atmosphere. We loved that there was ample restroom facilities which is key if you're drinking beers for any amount of time. Tons of street parking, which is free on the weekends! We will be back.

Am I the only person that's almost knocked themselves out on the wall in the stairwell? Good to know if I screamed for help, no one would hear me over the pointlessly loud music that drowns out the actual games. Also, "we'll text you to get your food", happened for no one in our group. A lot of lukewarm food was had.

Lowering the rating as many of the games are now beaten up, out of calibration or have broken functions. We left early and returned several dollars in tokens because the games were unplayable. Unfortunate - this place used to be really cool.

Came for a birthday party, first time actually being in there since it was a nightclub. It was a very cool throwback to child hood with all the games. They had pizza rolls which were good, pretzels and cheese, pretzels were delicious cheese was ok(not for me). Overall very cool place. Love to visit again.

Fantastic place. My wife and I stopped by here after dinner one night in Greenbay, and we had an absolute blast. The pinball machines are the best I've seen in a long time. My wife enjoyed herself. She didn't think it would be that fun, but she had just as much fun as me. Cold beer and mixed drinks while playing new and classic arcade games.... what's not to love! The bartender was awesome too!

The food was just okay, the service the same but my real problem with the place is the fact that I am in a wheelchair and there was no elevator or way for me to get to the second level. Very disheartening.
