We stopped in for dinner. There isn't a place to indicate that I'm The Google review. However... The Reuben and the French dip were amazing! The service was equally as good if not better! The pours of whiskey are plentiful and the prices on all things had, very, very reasonable. Overall a splendid place to visit for a great value and amazing service!

Large, roomy space with a very good assortment of TV viewing. The bartender was incredibly sweet and attentive. My hubby ordered the rueben..said it was the best he has ever had, very tender. I had the Totchoes (nachos with tots instead of chips) and it was delicious! Beware though..you can feed 4 people with one order of them! Oh! And the bathroom had a bidet option in the stall I used..only all the buttons to operate it are in chinese. It was fun to try and figure it out! Theres some video games and such too to help keep the kids entertained if you bring them for lunch or an early dinner. Don't forget you can get liquior and bait there too.

This place is great, we were there on a pretty busy day, and the service was very slow, but we did order some food which was good, but my burger wasn't cooked to well done, and it was kind of cold in the middle, my girlfriend had the fish tacos and the fish was breaded which she didn't expect, but it was ok...they also seem to tend to the locals more then they do the out of towners, which is what it is, but we would probably stop there again if we were in town just to give it another try, it was clean, and it was roomy, try it if u get the chance.

Speaking strictly on the fish fry. Only five tables we're eating and it took 45 minutes to get an order of haddock. It's not made in house but frozen fillets. I was told they used to make it fresh. Disappointed and do not recommend. Can not speak for the rest of the food. Our server was a doll.

We come here for the fish fry. They have several varieties including Perch and Bluegill. Both were really good. Portions are plentiful and served hot. Good tartar sauce and fries. Bar drinks are generous and our service has never been less than outstanding and super Wisconsin friendly. Very much recommend giving them a try.

It has been a long time since I was here last and I was impressed. I had pulled pork my girlfriend had mac n cheese w/pulled pork. Both meals were great. A special surprise was the tartar sauce. To me, it is a combination of KFC and McDonals tartar, I am looking forward to trying it on the fish.

I used to go there with my family years ago for chicken or fish.
Took a friend there for lunch on a weekday after recently retiring...Bartender who waited on us was unsure of menu and seemed like he recovering from hangover....He was so out of it.Very heavyset and clueless...Began to rattle off stuff about how good Trump was along with the GOP...ewwww.
Unfortunately, he picked the wrong subject and wrong guys to discuss politics.
Food was edible but we will never return.
Have a feeling this place caters to republicans.
Note to all food establishment owners:
Republicans are no better or worse than Democrats. Keep your politics to yourself!

I've never been to this bar, and I was impressed with how it is laid out. It is a very spacious area with a large wrap around bar with natural wood log style topped tables and a cool sort of musical, hunting/fishing theme, which works very well together. I will return here in the future as I have heard their food is very good.

We love the food here, but I do have one complaint. Please... please make more baked haddock! I cannot eat fried food so I really enjoy your baked haddock, but every other time we stop in, you have run out. We've come a little earlier and still no baked. We want to continue to support your business, and but I come for fish, which often isn't available.

ugh. Came here for fish on Friday night. Haddock was not cooked through; mentioned to the bartender when he asked about our meal halfway through.....bartender said it sometimes gets soggy when it sits. Oh, yummy. NOT. I didnt eat it.

A different bartender adjusted our bill when she saw my plate still filled when we asked for the check. I appreciate the gesture but would have liked the first bartender to try his hand at "customer satisfaction' by attempting to make the situation better. He seemed totally unaffected that I was dissatisfied and explained it away as the dinner sitting in the kitchen for awhile before being served.

Beer was cold. That earned them the 2nd star.

How do you ruin Boiled Dinner? You boil the potatoes in plain water. You boil the carrots in another pot of plain water. You boil the cabbage in yet another pot of plain water. You serve them all in generous portions with a generous portion of corned beef that also appears to have been boiled separately in plain water and serve it with a side of gelatinous vinegary stuff. Such was corned beef and cabbage at Vinland Still and Grill around 5PM on St Patty's Day 2019. The staff was friendly.
