My Host Melvin was nothing but welcoming and kind! It was my first time going on 10/13/25 to any popeyes. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile from Melvin who helped me out today at the register. He was nothing but polite and friendly with his service! When I got my order and sat down he proceeded to come over and offer me in the nicest way possible Two Chicken Sandwiches that a customer had not come to receive that day. If anyone would go to Popeyes at this Location it would be for Melvin. His customer service is top notch making it more than enough to come back for more! Melvin deserves a Raise or Appraisal for his outstanding service!

I ordered online and picked up the food. When I got home I realized that the order was completely wrong. I called and told them that I needed a replacement. They agreed to replace my order. I went back a second time and I picked up the new order. When I got home, it was the wrong order AGAIN! I called to let them know it was wrong, again. They hung up and wouldn't answer the phone again there after. Back in Chicago Popeyes was the best chicken place around. Apparently an Appleton, Wisconsin they don't care one way or another. We did attempt to eat the food we had gotten from them, but it was not even edible. It must have been 12 hours old.

I spent over $50 on a 16 piece family meal for my son's birthday and received hours old fries, old chicken with mushy breading, and rock hard biscuits. The only things that were decent were the mac n cheese and the mashed potatoes and gravy. Utterly disappointed. Will be finding a different place to get our chicken dinners from now on.

First time ever going to a Popeyes chicken...Little Nicky was wrong..it wasnt awesome at all. This was my first time at a Popeyes and everyone was extremely friendly, especially this one cashier/server, I'm pretty sure her name was Maria or something similar starting with an M. She was SO friendly and personable it genuinely made me and my 60 year old Dads day. A customer came in with a complaint and all the workers handled it great (even though the customer was not being mature). I would 100% come back and the food was also great! Thank you!

We waited over 30 minutes for our order, it wasn’t busy. We heard all of the coworkers schedule problems and personal issues. It was quiet, they were not. And what takes just about 6-7 of them to actually do their job vs focusing on who is closing and the ranting. It took another 20 minutes to get 10 biscuits to go. Also, why was the women’s bathroom locked the entire time? My 7 yr old had to use it. Please correct this behavior.

The food is delicious. I had original tenders in wraps. They were marvelous!!! The strawberry lemonade slushy was deliciously thirst quenching. My daughter is a spicy lover. She was incredibly impressed with the spicy tenders!!! She said the color was spot on! Great flavor that wasn't overwhelmingly spicy! A little higher on the price scale but 💯 worth it! The chicken is always excellent. However, when I drove up to the restaurant it looked like the place had been abandoned for months. The green area was overrun with weeds. No one has kept up the landscaped area for a long time. The menu board looked damaged and other areas of the exterior needed attention. This place has got to have one of the worst customer service out there. This isn't a recent review but it was a few months back. I did an online order and wait 20 minutes before I started my drive there. When I got to the drive through to pick up my order. I told the person taking the drive through orders that I had an online order I'm picking up. This person had the nerve to say with an attitude "Stop lying, you just ordered while you were waiting in line." We were taken aback by this. We calmly stated that we ordered it about 20 minutes ago then drove there to pick it up. They once again insulted us saying "Why y'all gotta lie, you did not order 20 minutes ago, you just ordered now while you were waiting." At this point we were already mad and we told them if they don't believe us then check the time on the order receipt. After checking the time they never said sorry just said, pull up to the window.

That was the last time we went there. But every time there's always an issue with the order, either missing something or taking forever. Eat here if you don't care about customer service and how you're treated.

Before I could even answer, I was told that Popeyes gave me what they decided instead of waiting for me to respond. They sent a Dr. Pepper! 1. That's not even the same style of drink!! 2. If you're going decide what the customer gets in place then A. Make sure it's the same price as what you paid for. B. Replace it with something that makes sense. Idk like a different flavor?? I spoke with someone named Amber. She said she's a manger. She said they'd give me a different freeze if I came in and got it. I agreed. But then because she's one of those people who thrive off of drama, she then told me that I need to bring in the Dr. Pepper that they sent without me asking for it in the first place. I have been to this location now 4 times since it has opened and I need to say it has the worse service I have experienced for a restaurant in Appleton. Yesterday was my limited. I went to lunch with a friend and the counter had no customers. We step up to order and were completely ignored by the staff. We tried to capture their attention but they did not even acknowledge us. No eye contact, no just a moment, nothing. We stayed a few minutes and decided to leave. They had plenty of staff on hand just didn't seem to care. I rarely leave reviews and most of the time they are because I was happy with something above and beyond. If I were the owner of this restaurant I would want to know. Besides leaving a review and sharing my experience, not wasting my time and money will hopefully drive change. Sorry I felt compelled to write this so others don't waste their time.

I have visited Popeyes on several occasions...this particular occasions was a disaster!!! The wait was very long & the man directing traffic was letting 1 car go at a time.While he handed out menus.
When I finally got to the speaker, I was ask to wait,a good 4 minutes with a line of cars behind me,& then I was told the soda machine was broken. When I got to the window I mentioned to the server that maybe the guy directing traffic should be tell people that the soda machine was not working and you can't get any drinks.Her reply was " people mostly come for the chicken!

I visited this store August 25 2024 after 5pm. As I enter the parking lot I see some employees outside smoking. No big deal employees on break. As I walk towards the building so does 2 of the employees. Both employees went right back into the kitchen neither one of them washed there hands. Believe it or not the male employee was the store manger🙄 first red flag. The girl at the register was extremely rude red flag #2 She took my order never said hello she made no suggestions to go with my food nothing personal about the experience at all. Then she hands me 4 cups to fill at a drink machine that she already knows is out of order. So I walk back over to the counter the nasty Manager who is serving food without having washed his hands looks me in the face and says the machine is not working and walks away. Then the Zombie faced cashier returns and just stands there looking at me never offering to fill my drinks from behind the counter. So after standing there holding chicken that I'm sure is contaminated after watching the manger and the cashier hygiene routine.I finally ask after a few minutes had passed if someone was going to fill my drinks. The attitude that I received from the cashier had I not been with my child I would have verbally assisnated the cashier. While waiting for her to fill the drinks finally, the cook comes from the back his appearance is horrible. He has flour everywhere. Unprofessional as a teenager I worked in fast food. He should have had an apron on. He should have never been in the public eye with all that nasty flour and who knows what else on his clothes.Now all of whatever he carrying around on his clothes is getting into whatever he is preparing. This was truly a horrible visit. As I'm writing this review I now regret not taking pictures and calling the health inspector, Osha somebody. I work in health care and you would be amazed at how many cases of food poisoning you see daily just from poor hand hygiene. It's safe to say this was my first and last visit to this popeyes

Service is so bad. And so slow. Theres no way it's not done on purpose. They mess up so bad , there's no way. And slow. If you want to have your time wasted and food you did not ask for. That's your spot. How they are still open, seriosly, blows my mind 🤯

Our food was delicious. Some of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I've ever had. However, the gentleman working the drive thru was extremely rude. Besides asking us for our order, he did not speak one word to us. Just abruptly handed us our food and turned around. I'd love to go to Popeyes more because I love their food but when you're consistently treated like you're bothering people, makes you not want to go back.

Mom and I went to get dinner and we were absolutely shocked. The woman working in the drive thru was constantly yelling and we couldn't tell if it was towards us or someone else. While my mom was trying to order for us the woman kept interrupting us and being very rude. We answered something wrong and she raised her voice at us. When we got to the window she was still yelling and we had literally no idea who it was towards so we couldn't tell if it was towards us or someone else. The service from her was awful and I hope she gets written up or talked to because as someone who has worked in the food industry that is ABSOLUTELY NOT how you talk to customers. Not too eager to revisit after that. We get home, we checked our food leaving Popeyes but didn't realize they gave us spicy tenders and not classic. We had no ice in our drinks as well. The service was horrible and I hope something gets fixed or they get new staff. Awful experience.

Went to the drive thru and had ordered 6 bone-in wings (2 orders) and was supposed to get the bogo 6 wings. When I got home, there were 2 orders of 6 wings, boneless, and no bogo wings. There was a small order of fries in the bag also? My wife called and spoke to the manager, who insisted that they had packed the order correctly. They didn't. Not even the right type of wings. Disappointing and not worth our return business,

There is nothing better than the amazing Cajun hospitality here at Popeyes. The food is amazing and so is the customer service! I was greeted right when I walked through the door with a big smile! I left Popeyes full and satisfied! Thank you for doing what you do keep it up!!

Is this normal behavior for Popeyes? Tonight my husband orders through the app and I guess Popeyes uses a delivery service to deliver to their customers. This time it was Door Dash. So, food ordered and food arrived all sealed up. Perfect right? Nope. Missing dips, missing food, no carbonation in the soda, no ice and soda not full at all. So, my husband calls and very nicely explains the situation and the person who answered who calls himself the manager went ballistic yelling (sir im sorry you actually were bothered to do your JOB which you by the way you Handled terribly 🙄) telling him to call door dash.sincevwhrn is it door dashes fault for missing food from completely Sealed BAGS? Since when is it door dashes fault there was no ice in the soda or that the sodas were only half filled and lacking ice? This is the restaurants responsibility to make sure service is top level. Without customers there's no jobs. No one was asking you to produce a magical unicorn and parade around town with the meal on a silver platter held up high. People asked you to get the order right and not only did this " manager" yell and argue with my husband he hung up and then proceeded to take the phone off the hook so no calls could go through. Door dash even tried and couldn't get through. I'm sure possible orders and money that could have been made for this company were even lost due to people not being able to get through because this "manager" had a fit of anger and decided in haste to take the phone off the hook. Just so he didn't have to "deal". Spoke to customer service which wasn't much better but apparently we are getting refunded. You can't talk to an actual person you get texts through them either that or email correspondence. Absolutely unacceptable and I will be contacting the general manager and the owner. They both need to know what goes on in their restaurant in Appleton WI.

I lived in Milwaukee for awhile. And ate at Popeyes a lot. And moved up here about fifteen years ago. And I know this place has been open years now. But never got around to eating here. Today was the day. And everything was just as I remembered it being.. five stars all the way!!!
