I had delivered an 8 piece, biscuits, mac n cheese, & and apple pie. It all would have been really delicious EXCEPT everything had a horrible burnt or old grease taste except the mac n cheese. Staff was friendly, but we went thru the drivethru and our food was cold. Not even luke warm, all 3 orders of chicken tenders were cold. Holy moly. This is one of the nicest Popeye's that I have ever entered. The bathroom was clean...in fact the whole place was immaculate. My order was fresh down to the fries. The mgr on duty was very professional and pure class. The cook in the back had his kitchen down to perfection...I'm not kidding you, he was ready to feed hungry people efficiently. Nice, nice place. Head here if in Janesville!

Don’t come here expecting value. Ordered a blackened tender combo at the drive thru (woman at the speaker cut me off halfway through for what I assume was to help another customer. Sat in silence for a couple mins) and had to wait 15 mins for them to get the food. Not sure what was taking so long but the 6 cars behind me were given their food at the window and passed me on. Eventually got my food but the lady who took my card and gave me the food was pretty rude. Not a word out of her mouth

Got home to eat and found what was the most depressing portion of chicken tenders I’ve ever seen. They were no thicker than a quarter of an inch. Literally looked like freshly sliced deli meat. Had no seasoning whatsoever. I paid $20 for sandwich meat. Won’t be returning to any Popeyes thanks to the Janesville location serving their chicken “slenders”

We're from the quad Cities (Iowa) and our Popeyes is pretty lame. Mind you, have not been there in over a year, they were always closed, said the fryers were down, etc.

This Popeyes in Janesville though.. 🔥 Food was great, presentation was good (for fast food chicken) and the staff were friendly.

I wish the Davenport Iowa Popeyes was even half of what this location is. We went 3 times over the weekend, my whole family loved it!

It is very expensive if you are a big eater like me. The bone in wings are good, and the boneless wings are not the best. The breading is too flaky they have plenty of meat, not really tasty. Without sauce, the Cajun fries are good. The red beans and rice are good, just very pricey for the quality the breading just not what I would expect probably won't visit there again

I am very Upset customer I ordered some bone out wings and was giving bone and wings. I asked for nothing spicy, which Would mean that I would get bone out wings I asked for my sauce on the side. I got home to dinner and took a very small bite of my wings to find out they are bone in and extremely spicy so I called the store explaining I didn’t ask for these spicy wings and basically was told by the women that it’s states they are spicy in the menu and I said i didn’t order spicy and I don’t want this wings this is not what I asked for and she was rude didn’t offer to replace didn’t say sorry about that I even said I’d bring the wings back cause I wouldn’t eat them and she told me basically no… so I’ll be calling to speak to someone tomorrow about this matter and I will not be ordering again or recommending my friend or family to eat at this establishment. This worker needs to be more respectful to customers when there is a complaint.

If an intracranial portion of your order is missing, and you need to travel 20 minutes to replace it…..the entire order is ruined. I appreciate they are willing to allow us to drive to pick up the portion of our meal that was missing, however now the sides and second parts of that meal are waisted. Our full order should be replaced. The time it takes to travel in order to correct your mistake negates the correct portion sitting getting cold/soggy

My honest opinion, tables were dirty in fact I had to clean mines before sitting down. The spicy chicken doesn't have any spice. The regular chicken yes it seems very fresh but no flavor to it. I will have to say they have gone expensive. You could actually go to a steakhouse and buy a steak for what chicken cost now. And that's ridiculous.

I would consider rating this restaurant even lower than I have it rated, but the food is really good which is helping them out. I have been to this location 3 times in the past 2 months, and I'm pretty sure they are extremely understaffed. The first time I went here there were a few cars in the parking lot, and every single door was locked, but there were 5 cars in the drive thru. The 2nd time I went here, I walked right inside, ordered my meal, and sat down to enjoy my meal. The last time I was here, there were people inside enjoying their meals, but every single door was locked again, meanwhile the drive thru was packed. I sat in the drive thru for probably 15 minutes just to order my food, and I sat at the speaker to order my food for close to 5 minutes without anyone asking for my order. The food has always been really good, but the only explanation I can think of for most of my experiences is they can't find enough people to fully staff this restaurant. If you're looking to go inside and sit down to enjoy your meal, or to get your food quickly in the drive thru, I would maybe consider going to another place to eat.
