Awful. Sat in drive through saying hello to the speaker for 2-3 mins. Another car pulled up and they started taking their order right away.

Pulled ahead to the drive thru window, and they looked at me dumbfounded.

I said I’d like to place an order.

“Well she’s on the other line and you need to order back at the menu board” I asked if they could do it here and she said no.

Peak laziness, awful customer service .

Chicken always comes out crispy and juicy. The place is also clean, maybe because it’s usually never really packed (at least every time I’ve been here there’s usually not a lot of people). Service can be lacking sometimes, I’m not sure if they’re just short of workers but I’ve had to kind of yell to grab someone’s attention because the kitchen looked empty. But whoever ends up coming out to answer has always been helpful.

This is by far the worst service and food from the Popeye's chain that I've ever had in my life. The chicken was not seasoned and tasted like plain flour when ordering a mild family box . The coleslaw was slimy so I returned it and ask for red beans and rice to find it was soupy. The counter worker showed a lack of customer service and came off as very rude at first approach of the counter and more when I returned with the coleslaw. This food was not very pleasant at all. Fries were soggy and cold, meat was slightly undercooked and showed signs of pink and red. I Threw away over half of the meal I ordered at over $40. My family and I are very disappointed and displeased with the service and food here at this location. Better luck somewhere else never here. Thanks, But no Thanks. Please Retrain employees.

This is my favorite Popeyes obviously drive all way from Milwaukee to get this Popeyes because they have great customer service always clean always fast service always on time always greet me with happiness always have a respectful mindset and I really love how the food comes. It’s always fresh and hot And when I ask for anything extra, they always make sure they handle it in the best manner with no attitude so I thank you so much for your great service for the whole crew. I was happy to see a closer location for me to stop at Popeyes - especially for their wings since other chicken places don't seem to like serving wings! Walked in during the week a little after 4PM. Place was empty and I figured I would be in and out quickly. Stopped in the bathroom - very clean - and came out to order my food. I did see someone walk behind the counter to look at something on my way to the bathroom but a couple minutes later, they were nowhere to be seen. I walked back and forth by the counter and did see someone on their phone by the back door. Took a bit but finally someone came out and took my order. They were very nice and the food came out pretty quickly. The food was very good but I could have done without the wait for anyone to acknowledge me.

I found a broken chicken leg in my meal. I called the location and they said I could come back up there and exchange it with another leg. I drove back and the kid that took my order got the manager who came out and said what do you mean it’s broken? I pulled it out of the box and bent it in half which it was like rubber and black on the inside. She says what do you want me to do about it? I asked her to replace it and she said No I asked why she said “thats the one you bought!!!” Then walked away. I asked what if the customer isn’t satisfied? Don’t you supposed to satisfy your customer?? Ive worked in customer service all my life and always try to satisfy my customers as long as it’s within my power to do so. Exchanging a broken black leg for an unbroken leg would have simply fixed the problem. She is very unprofessional and not a good manager. She came from behind the doorway already mad and ready to argue.

Such a poor service. After making on online order I have waited for nearly 30 mins in drive thru and after such long wait, decided to go to counter and there again I made to wait for 10 mins. Ultimately after 40 mins wait got to know that only one person is working. When management couldn’t make enough arrangements for adequate staffing then it’s better to shut the branch until enough staff is recruited or provide a message on online for customer about time delay to deliver an order.

Horrible experience, went here on 3/12/2025. Ordered a 8 piece chicken only and recieved the smallest pieces of chicken. A drumstick smaller than a chicken wing to give you an idea. The people who run it have no clue what their doing. Other locations will throw in 2 or 3 extra when that happens. Called the store and was blown off by the rude manager. Popeyes is OVER CHARGING customers. Check you reciepts. Wisconsin Dept of Revenue only allows a sales tax of 5.5%, but Popeyes at 7305 122nd Ave Kenosha, Wi is charging 6%. I contacted the on duty manager and was told she did not have control over the prices and the taxes. The manager then called her boss who tried convincing me that Popeyes can charge an addtional tax bringing it to 6%. I contacted the Kenosha County Treasurer and the WI Dept of Revenue who instructed me that the tax in Kenosha County is limited to 5.5% and a merchant can not impose a greater tax. I was also asked to complete a Dept of Revenue document which will be forwarded to their fraud department. In addtion: I also found the same 6% sales tax at their location in Somers, WI near Walmart. Buyer Beware.

I just found out we’re having a house full of family this evening. So my go to was something that the grandchildren like, love. I called Popeyes near the Hwy. in Kenosha WI. When I called, I’m assuming a manager answered the phone.
She asked if they could put me on hold so they could take care of someone in drive-through, I said sure no problem.
When she came back I told her that I need a box of chicken 25 pieces, 10 thighs and 15 legs. She said, oh we can’t do that; that would short someone else on legs.
I said well then I cannot place the order
BAM she hung up on me!!!
I cannot believe that I received such a disrespectful response. We have ordered from here many times, usually around the holidays The service has always been wonderful, however whoever answered the phone this morning absolutely showed no respect for customers. Very disappointed.

My husband and I ordered two separate orders through our apps on our phone.
Apparently, the manager decided not to cook anymore Fresh Chicken and gave us legs and wings vs. breasts, thigh, 2 legs, and a wing. Even this chicken was 3-4 hours old.
Mac and cheese were old. Mashed and gravy were good. I called there, and the same manger put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I wanted to try the boneless wings so I went to the drive thru. I ordered and when I went to the window, they told me to pull forward, which I thought was weird because I didn't pay. Someone came out and said I needed to reorder and go back to the drive thru. Not sure why they couldn't tell me this at the window and retake my order there, especially since there was a line now.

I went back and after seeing 3 cars get their orders taken at the first drive thru lane while I sat there, they finally took my order again. Thankfully they didn't make me go around a third time, but when I got home I found out that instead of the mild boneless wings I specifically went there for, they gave me the ghost pepper bone in wings.

No apologies throughout any of this. Frankly it seemed like they were annoyed at ME for their issues. I'd rather drive further south to the other Popeyes. Never have to worry about getting the wrong order there.

The location is for coming. Go traffic, so it's pretty quiet inside. But the service was tremendous and the food was pretty good too, although it's hard to choose what to have. The gm Penny has huge anger management issues as was a drive thru customer and been there for dine in now witnessing what a business isn't suppose to have around their customers all displayed on camera. Personally I went Within this week and never again as will have my ride drive farther then go to the closest when visiting friends or family now.

The general manager is highly disturbing and disrespectful to her staff like the customers. I would never again take my daughter to this place again due to the environment and how she personally treats her employees. I thought Popeyes is family oriented? Whatever her issue is she definitely needs corporate to retrain her professionalism like many other things to run a proper successful business as customers see everything said and done. I came here with my kids excited to try this new location. They had for a while only 2 workers and eventually we saw a 3rd person. I went to stand in line and I was the only person. The management is very rude… the older white lady literally was screaming at staff and was rude to a customer in drive… if this is how the company lets managers treat employees and customers it wont be open very long please do better popeyes!

I wanted to like this new Popeyes but the service here was subpar even for Popeyes. I placed an online order for a single spicy chicken sandwich because I knew that would be more than enough food to fill me up and for $5 I thought it was a great deal.

When I got to the restaurant 10 minutes later I was expecting the order to be ready by the time I got there. I informed the older female white employee my name and she informs me that they have no online orders with that name. Then she started accusing me of not doing it correctly or at the wrong location. Then she checked the receipt printer and my ticket was there. Luckily a cook in the rear was smart enough to figure it out and had it ready by that time, but when the older white female employee (I didn’t catch her name) saw it was only a single chicken sandwich she repeated “only a sandwich?” And she started laughing like I was some kind of joke.

Avoid this Popeyes!!!

It was so fast, so fresh and hot! Britney at the front was so friendly and so welcoming - im definitely coming to this location other than other kenosha location!!!!

The chicken was good and that was all that was good. There was barely anyone in the restaurant. Service was horrible they couldn't make change and the Mac n cheese was so bad it was mush. The basket tasted fishy I don't even know how that would be possible. And I had to wait 15 minutes for a 2pc and 2 sides. They were definitely over staffed there were more people in back than patrons in the restaurant.

longest wait for chicken I've ever had at a fast food place, there were literally 2 other people and my order took 20 minutes... 8 employees doing nothing 2 of which were on their phones visibly smh

Food was good but for some reason this restaurant charges 6% sales tax . Kenosha is 5.5 % dont know why ?
