Rude customer service. I had my order messed up 2 weeks ago. I don’t live in the Kenosha area so they told me they would send giftcard through mail. This was coming from the district manager when I called. It’s been weeks and I received nothing. I just called to ask about it, they answer the phone and once you explain to them what’s going on, they get all rude. I even have a phone call recorded because he was practically laughing about it.. saying they been out of lettuce for awhile now. I told them I will call back and now the phone isn’t even going through like they turned it off. Is that customer service to you? This past Saturday I placed a very large order for fried chicken carry-out for a party. The young lady named Hayley (not sure if that's how she spells her name) working at the front counter was very helpful and polite. Hayley and her co-workers were all working hard to get many orders out quickly. The restaurant was clean, unlike Milwaukee locations. I was impressed by the great service I received here and the fried chicken I ordered was fresh and tasty. This is probably the best, or one of the best Popeyes locations in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Service was great!!! Very friendly. However, I was excited to try the boneless wings and was very disappointed. The original with no sauce was the best and good quality. They replaced their original BBQ sauce!!!!!! Why!!!!?? I also got a six piece signature hot and it was inedible because the sauce its tossed in is almost granular like the sugar hasn’t broken down. Highly disappointed I took my son here and they over charged him in the drive thru. I came inside to let them know she responded, “ did you give her the code at the speaker”? I let her know that yes I let the lady know at the speaker that I had a coupon and that when she did not ask for the code I reiterated to her that I had a coupon”.

I gave the coupon to her at the window where I reiterated it again. She said ok took it and PRETENDED like she was typing the code in on the screen. What she really did was up charge my son‘s meal to a large and charge him an extra five dollars on his card but still gave him a small size of everything. I had to ask her for a receipt (that’s how I found out and called his gift card to confirm).

After letting them know that they didn’t put the coupon code in. She gave me three dollars back which was still short of what they charged him. His fries were cold and there were barely any in the bag. She seems to have had an attitude with me for bringing in the receipt to explain to her the problem. They charged him $12.54 for a small chicken sandwich meal that was only supposed to be $6.99 w/ the coupon. Then gave $3.00 back which means he still payed $10.00 for the meal and they kept his coupon. The math does not add up.

Well, at this point, there is no indoor dining; which is fine. Being this is the location of my first real taxable job at 15 yrs. old, it taught me great work ethics. The regular employees', our manager Ron, and owner at the time Mike actually made us feel like we were part of another family. Haven't been here in a long time, and there's no reason to post pictures because the drive thru extended into the street; plus to the buildings design. Honestly, once you're in line, you are stuck in line. From drive thru entrance to intercom took about 20 minutes. The prices used to be competitive, but for instance: I paid more for a 16pc. Chicken only box and 12 Biscuits verses the 16pc. Combo included 2 Sides and 6 biscuits. It would've awesome if 6 biscuits was a side. As one employee said, "yeah, the new owners pricing should probably be reevaluated and reconsider", but that's what you get for just being a consumer. However, once you placed your order through the intercom it was smooth sailing. I placed my order, drove up 3rd in line, and waited less than 10 mins. to receive my order. The entire crew was nice, considerate, and the 3 out and the chicken and biscuits were alright.

I visited this Popeyes location tonight (November 23) around 9:40 PM with my dad, and our experience was extremely disappointing. My dad was trying to order 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, 1 regular chicken sandwich, and 3 chicken tenders. The employee taking the order repeatedly got the order wrong. Thinking my dad’s voice might not be clear, I stepped in to repeat the order, but even then, he still couldn’t get it right at all even after I repeated myself 3 times.

At this point, a woman stepped in and rudely told my dad, “Can you speak clear, your English is horrible.” She then said, “Let the girl talk, she speaks better English,” referring to me. I was shocked and upset by her tone and treatment, so I tried to explain that English wasn’t the issue since I also repeated the order multiple times and they kept getting everything wrong, and in reality my dad was still in the process of ordering, and they just hadn’t let him finish (He was trying to add chicken tenders to the order, not changing it, but the lady didn’t seem to have the patience to listen). I tried to take a picture of the lady who said that to my dad but clearly she went to go hide in the kitchen.

The way my dad and I were treated was unprofessional, disrespectful, and borderline discriminatory. Popeyes is known for having bad customer service, but specifically the customer service at this location was the worst I’ve experienced in a fast-food setting. The workers here were not only rude and impatient but also discriminatory in their behavior. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location unless you want to be treated poorly and feel disrespected.

My daughter and I went here for lunch after her appointment one time. I got to the drive thru and there was no other vehicle in the line. It took the girl 5 minutes to even acknowledge I was there. Then, all I ordered was 2 of 'The Sandwich' spicy. Just two sandwiches! I called and spoke to Jennifer and not only did she make sure my order was perfect she added some extra things, made sure my Uber driver got my food and told me over the phone that he was on his way ! She exceeded my expectations. Even though the situation started off bad, it ended perfectly , I’m so grateful for Jennifer and everyone working that night (2/8/24)

Overall this is a solid place to grab a bite. Food is usually fresh, and the staff are generally nice people. However the speed of service sometimes leaves something to be desired. On my worst day it took over 20 mins to get three chicken tenders and some fries. For the majority of that time there were no cars behind me, and the dining room only had a few patrons - I know because I eventually walked in fearing they had forgotten about me. Hopefully they’ll continue to improve, because the fresh chicken is worth it.

Fodd was very good and served hot. I liked the new mac 'n cheese, but I really wish you'd bring back the Cajun rice it was the best. We used to buy two pints of it and use it to stuff rotisserie chicken. I always got that as my side (everybody has fries). Popeye's was the only chicken place with Cajun rice. Please gring it back!!

Staff is really nice. Chicken is good. Sides also good but if I am paying $7 for a side I am expecting the contanter to be more than half full. First time it happened I figured it was just a coincidence. I went a second time and it was slightly over half full. Then this most recent time it was like nothing at all. I would probably get more if I just ordered individuals. Not saying I wont be going there anymore cause it still is good but I will just be going there for the chicken

This location has a consistent issue with service times that I have noticed the last couple years. If I am personally buying or picking up as a DoorDasher, the wait times are just beyond ridiculous. A new store manager has now come in and she is Very, nice. I hear her instructing them through orders and attempts to keep a couple calm. I have always loved the food, so let's keep our fingers cross.

Went through the drive thru. Had to be parked for an unusually long time. They forgot to give us one of the items we ordered. The Dr. Pepper syrup must have been out. The food was all really good tho.

They had no napkins, only thighs, only regular. No straws. No biscuits. This place is a hot mess. They will not use drive thru. You have to go in. Why is it even open. The chicken was old and dry. Come on people. Just shut it down.

Supposed to open at 10.. pull up they say 10:30am today.. Because they weren’t ready yet.. get your stuff together Popeyes. Came back at 10:45am still not open..
Update its 11:00am they just told me the screen is broken so come order inside.. offered the lady in front of me a free drink for waiting so long but not me w/e I’m not entitled but very inconsistent.. then the one at the window is like oh can you go turn the menu sign on for me I forgot to turn it on..??I’ll add I was very polite and friendly not acting like a Karen or anything just polite and patient. Did not complain to staff at all ect. Good thing it’s my day off I guess. Maybe someone quit who was supposed to open or something but still.. also had no sides only chicken. Drink made my bill $5! More so I took it off as it was only a medium soda.
