I have a 40 year history with Popeyes Chicken. Back then you could order the best onion rings and fried chicken livers money could buy. You can no longer purchase those items but their chicken and cole slaw are just as delicious now as they were back then. I ordered a four piece spicy chicken dinner with cole slaw and a biscuit. The biscuit was disappointing. It was under baked, but the chicken and cole slaw was outstanding. The East Town location was clean with polite employees and fast service. I highly recommend it.

I made a mobile order on the app. It didn’t tell me the time to pick up the order so I waited 20 minutes and then went through the drive through to let them know I had a mobile order. They said the food I got was made to order and it would take longer, but I was waiting in the parking lot for 20 minutes before checking on my order. The employee in the drive through made it seem like it was an inconvenience to make our order, and it took another 10 minutes for them to bring out our order. The food was good, but the service was not. I also got the wrong sauce and no straw for my drink.

The last three times i’ve gone, my order has always been messed up. Either it’s missing food or the seasoning being completely different than what I ordered. Today 10/2/25 I went to the drive through after placing an order. When I got home come to find out not only is my mac n cheese missing but both my boneless wings and tenders didn’t have the right seasoning. I truly do enjoy the food here but it’s hard to do so when my orders are always being made wrong.

I went to the drive thru and couldn't hardly understated the man. I got home and there wasn't any garlic/parmeson on the 12 piece chicken wing combo I ordered, no biscuit, they gave me ranch dressing to which I didn't order and the chicken was extremely cold. I doubt that I will ever return especially how they respond to poor reviews with fluffy pillow words without any compensation. If I get sick I will seek legal remedies.

Ordered two spicy chicken strip meals on doordash, nothing fancy just two meals. Received one chicken strip meal, and three pieces of dark meat. Chicken was old "Lamp chicken" the kind that sat under a lamp for several hours. The fries were soggy, heck even the biscuits were soggy! The coleslaw tasted off, the soda's weren't even good, they were sour because they needed to change the syrup box/bag. I hope they go out of business "Louisiana Fast!"

I am writing this to corporate team or Zonal manager of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Please take care of my concern. I was hurt badly by his behavior in drive thru. There is a shift manager named Pero I guess he is Hispanic. He is really bad with customers. The worst behavior I have ever seen in a Popeyes store. He don’t know how to treat a customer. He has an evil smile and provoking the customers. He doesn’t have proper training I guess. Popeyes team please take care of the candidates like this. Let this be a warning to All That Use the App: If you travel the USA like I do and you use to stop at Popeyes like I once did.

The App might fail to update your Locations! If that happens your S.O.L. if you placed the order from Madison Wi and your last Popeyes was here in Byron Ga.

Yes the app did use Location sharing and was set. I tried to contact the location via phone in Ga that recieved the order "But a message answering saying the Voicemail wasn't set up using the # that Google listed.

Sad that a Company doesn't have a Value set on keeping a Customer of many years.

So this location is the worst place I have ever gone to. Besides the fact that no matter what time of the day the food is somehow not fresh, the one time I got semi fresh food, it was not cooked all the way. Its unbelievable. I am very disappointed. I spent $10.54 for a chicken sandwich meal only to find out chicken was not fresh and crispy, they gave me fries like i paid only a dollar for it so very very little fries. Popyes chicken in Madison WI = Weary traveler here (hwy 90) OH MY GOD THE chicken sandwich was almost as big as my hand and about 2 inches thick. It was HUGE. Incredible as always. Apple pies are amazing as always.
Crazy yummy fries & msshed potatoes. And all Freshly cooked. Staff was very good too. Located in a gas station. No drive thru. But so worth it to step out of car and strech & get some Popyes Chicken. Being a transporter, it is hard to find food that is different on the road. You find yourself eating the same things. Lately, fast food quality and service has hit an all-time low for me, but this place was not only good but had great service. I know it's Popeyes, but it is the best one I have had in months. I called today to make sure I get exactly what I’m paying for and instead of being nice about it, I got nothing but attitude about it. I had a terrible experience with the male manager on March 8th, 2025 @ 4:47pm. He is VERY Rude! I tried to explain the discrepancies with my order but he would over talk me. I tried to reason with him but that didn’t work. I made him aware that I was videoing our interaction and he said he doesn’t care. He told me to Google cooperate number when I asked for it. This has been going on for years and YOU still choose him to be the face of YOUR business! This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had! Just took my family of 3 here as we were craving chicken. The moment my 7 year old put the food in her mouth, she exclaimed that it was the best chicken and fries she had ever had. The manager at this drive thru is super rude! He’s always rude! What happen to the customer is right or give the customer what they want? I asked for fresh chicken he tells me the chicken is fresh. Popeyes has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but this one really surprised me. When they say fast food, they aren't kidding. My food was out in less than a minute. This is usually how it is with Popeyes, but it never fails to amaze me. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a very open concept, which is definitely my favorite type of setting. The soda machine even amazed me. They had strawberry Fanta, which is one of my favorite, and I've never seen it at a regular soda machine. The hospitality was good there. He was easy to understand and clear. My food even came out with extra packets of ketchup, which was very nice, and my fries were overfilled, which was amazing. The chicken on my sandwich was thick and JUICY. Once again, Popeyes has putdone themselves.

There's a few Popeyes locations in the Madison area, but this one just recently opened within the past year or so. We ordered drive-thru and the experience was good. I don't order from Popeyes often, but the chicken was great. If you're comparing it with other fast-food chicken, it beats KFC, but is a bit more unique when trying to compare it to Chick-Fil-A. I feel you can't really compare the two.

The sides were a bit different from what we've had before. The mashed potatoes had a unique taste and it reminded me of the spice flavor you get when you eat Chili.

One of the bigger Popeye's. Lots of staff but seems to be siloed in their tasks -- one girl was on her phone while I waited, and waited and waited to get napkins (and yes she saw me). Welcoming and spacious dining room. Tables had chicken crumbs on them but it was about 230 when we stopped. Someone did start cleaning while we were there so guessing it was post lunch run. My sons & husband love Popeyes! We've been to them all over the US! This Popeyes, however, impressed them. The service was outstanding. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Sauce isn’t included??? They charge you $.25 per sauce packet. They could at least include a few for as much as you pay for the food. Customer service isn’t good either. Wouldn’t recommend.
