Food and service was good but the restaurant was filthy. So many fingerprints/handprints on the doors, top to bottom. Bathroom was dirty, tables and counter were dirty. Ordered ahead online. When I got there at the pickup time, I was told it would be about 20 minutes yet. I got my food ( should have checked it better than I did) and drove the 30 minutes home. I unpack dinner for the fam and the only part of my 14 tender family pack I got was the fries. No tenders, no biscuits. This is at least the 3rd time my order has been messed up.

Had to repeat our order multiple times and then again when we got to the window we had to repeat it again and told by the staff they were helping a customer inside while trying to take our order. Even with repeating everything multiple times we did not get what we ordered. Chicken tasted like days old grease, coleslaw tasted spoiled, french fries were very soggy from the grease, cold, and so much seasoning unable to eat them. Ordered mashed potatoes and gravy but did not receive. One member of our party ended up with food poisoning. We know it was from Popeyes as it was the only thing eaten. Stop by there today, we had a big order, the new girl doubled up one of our orders but we’re totally fine with it, we understand. We think the manager took over and confirmed our order, fixed it and apologized. He ended up giving us the extra sandwich since they already made it which was nice, we scored a free sandwich! Everything was excellent! They even gave us forks for the coleslaw, the store in Appleton and Green Bay always forget this. It was a really good experience, we are very satisfied. The girl taking our order screwed it up massively. She added an extra sandwich and we got a partial refund for it. I was telling her that it was not a ghost pepper sandwich as marked on the receipt and she said no problem but I got a ghost pepper sandwich anyways and I got a partial refund for that. Placed an order through the app, the restaurant claims they never received the order, waited 20 minutes, when we showed proof that the order was placed, and what we ordered they told us to write it down and they would see what they could do. There were a total of 3 people working, they need to fix the online ordering and the amount of staff, 3 people is not enough. We left without our food, yet we paid $30 for it, I've contacted support and they said they would get back to us within 24-48 hours, The number provided will not lead you to a human, you will only get pre-recorded messages. The chicken tenders have a flavorful, airy breading. It's probably the best breading in town. If you dabble in spicy food, I recommend the spicy tenders. They're "white people spicy" and honestly the barbeque sauce is spicier than the tenders. I recommend the buttermilk ranch if the spice seems intimidating, it's quite good.

The chicken itself in the tenders is a little overcooked, and isn't as moist as most other places in town. It's nothing that can't be solved by their sauces, which I've always really liked. Depending on the day, you could get decently cooked tenders, or burnt oil sadness. I'd describe it as the Russian roulette of ordering chicken in this town.

I HIGHLY recommend the mashed potatoes. The seasoning and gravy are usually quite good. Like everything else at Popeyes, it's subject to random chance of getting a bad meal, but it usually doesn't disappoint.

The shrimp are about as good as you'd expect from a fast food chicken restaurant. Popeyes is a decent option overall in terms of the quality of the food.

The employees seem like they hate their jobs but don't wanna take it out on you, so at least they're not rude. Frequently having sauce forgotten is rather annoying though.

I would like to share my experience that happens just now at the store in Manitowoc wisconsin. I went to the store and this person (Ashley) ignored me and some others customers for about 10 minutes so I decided to approach the counter and ask for service she looked at me turn around and went to the back.This never happens to me at all at this store ever.Then she proceeded to say to someone on the back(this is not my shift but I won't tolerate a faulty mouth) all loud in front of all the customers and storm herself out of the store.After that this lady maritza ask me if I was been help and took my order and I decided to say "that was outrageous this is not how you conduct yourself in front of the customer" and maritza apologize to me for what Ashley did.Next thing I know (Eric) came to me and introduced himself as another manager and also say the he was sorry about what's happened and together offer a complimentary drink or snack.Even the this lady act like a idiot and with out any remorse make those comments this guys save the day and hopefully management take responsibility for this acts.

I have eaten at Popeyes since they opened and have always enjoyed the food, but this store is the most inconsistent place ever so that’s why it gets a 1 star. Sometimes it’s fast service sometimes it slow (even when it’s just me) sometimes the person taking my order is rude and rushing sometimes they’re slow and nice sometimes they have items I want and sometimes they don’t. I think this store needs some serious work on service but like I said some of they’re employees are nice. May 15th I stopped at the Popeyes in Manitowoc and order a chicken nugget basket and and a tender basket. both combos. I also asked for a large mac and cheese. I got my food and they never gave me my mac and cheese. I let it slide because I was starving and wanted to get home. Today (May 18th) I went back to give them a second chance because i really want the mac and cheese. Today I ordered the same exact thing. The lady taking my order said they didn’t have any mac and cheese ready, so I said I would patiently wait. I pulled up to the window and paid. She never gave me my receipt and said pretty rudely, “You’re gonna have to pull ahead because I have to go and make your mac and cheese now. I still have other orders to take.” So I pulled forward leaving enough space for the cats behind me to pull out. I waited and then finally she brought out my food. She said with an attitude, “next time I tell you to pull forward, you better pull all the way forward.” and then she basically threw the bag at me. I once again ignored the horrible hospitality and drive home. As I was unpacking my meal i noticed she messed up multiple things. she gave me hot sauce instead of ketchup. She didn’t give me my biscuit that is included with the combos. She also didn’t give me any silverware. At that point I was just glad I had my mac and cheese. When I opened it up, it was all separated and runny. It was clearly not cooked/not cooked long enough. I was very disappointed and did not appreciate the disrespect from the employee. My son wanted Popeye's Chicken for his birthday so we called them ahead of time and asked them how much notice they needed for a very large order. They asked for about 20 minutes so we placed a very large order which came to about $85. When we went to pick up the order, we drove away and checked our bag and noticed that we're missing part of our order. We're missing more than half of it so we had to turn around and go back to the store to get the rest of it. By this point the food had been in our bag for more than 20 minutes and was cold because they had to remake the other part of our order that was missing. We asked if they could make the first part of the order as well so all of our food was fresh because it wasn't our fault that they forgot half of our food and for almost $90 we wanted our food to be fresh. It was their mistake. The girl snatched the bag of food out of our hand, and said she could put this food back out for sale for the other customers. Mind you this chicken that she took from us had been in our car for 20 minutes and we had touched it because we wanted to see what was missing from our order. So she took chicken that was taken out of the store that was in another person's car and we have pets so there was pet hair in our car and then she took that chicken and put it out for resale to other customers. That's disgusting and that's against health code and that's a violation. I contacted corporate and corporate sent me $5 coupon. As if I would ever return. This explains why we all felt queasy after we ate our Popeyes chicken that day. This was our first, and last, time ever eating at this Popeye's Chicken.

I had the best chicken sandwich of my life this afternoon. I told the woman at the counter that I was a Popeye's first timer and she made sure that the cook make the sandwich fresh. It was perfection.

12/20/22 - Place is a joke straight up, rolled through at 9:15 with 3 workers and all the lights on (they close at 10), and proceeded to not answer the drive through, and act as tho they didn’t see the two cars trying to get food (I was kicking it in one of the two cars), like bro you close at 10, if we pulled up at 9:50 even 9:45 I get it. But pretending like nobody’s there for 30 minutes (we left after waiting and knocking on the door) and locking all the doors an hour before close is wild. Almost downloaded the app to place a mobile order but that was pushing it a little too heavily all things considered. Was just trying to get a spicy chicken sandwhich ferda

Was good in the past, ordered last night, the chicken is half the size on the buns, chicken tenders look like bluegill fillets there so thin, change your slogan to "no more chicken from popeyes" . Another fast food place down the drain.
