Some of the worst possible service you can get. Placed an online order that said to add honey packs, my food took a good 45 minutes to come out and they didnt put any honey packs. When I asked for some at the drive thru a guy said it was an extra charge? And that I had to come in to do it. I went in and the big lady up front wasn’t acknowledging me so I asked her for the honey packs after she just kept doing other stuff and she grabbed them without saying anything and threw them on the counter.

Haven't had Popeyes in a long while so I decided to make a trip and get some. I was extremely disappointed in both the service and the food. Cashier even incorrectly charged me for a side the was supposed to be included with my meal package. Didn't notice til I got home and ate. I will not be going there again and I do not recommend Popeyes anymore.

Enjoy Popeye's food. Went through the drive through. First, order was $14.50 but no change to give bacn so just donated the additional 50 cents.
Was asked to pull forward. Waited 15 minutes for chicken strips, mashed potatoes, and a pie. No fork or spoon put in the bag.
All said, the staff was friendly. Maybe too busy that details fell through the cracks?

The App might fail to update your Locations! If that happens your S.O.L. if you placed the order from Madison Wi and your last Popeyes was here in Byron Ga.

Yes the app did use Location sharing and was set. I tried to contact the location via phone in Ga that recieved the order "But a message answering saying the Voicemail wasn't set up using the # that Google listed.

Sad that a Company doesn't have a Value set on keeping a Customer of many years.

Ordered through the drive thru on my lunch hour. When i got home called about 1/2 the order missing. The manager was rude, refused to address the problem and offer a solution. This location is so u professional. I never even got a receipt and the employee at the window was screaming at the car in front of me. Took 25 minutes to get a 4 piece w/ Mac & a biscuit, no communication behind the counter, besides the young man walking around the restaurant rapping about making a brick of dope, while cleaning, then attempt to go back in the kitchen & touch food, until another employee yelled for him to wash his hands. I had went to this Popeyes on the 28th of last month through the drive thru. And I intended to pay cash and the rest on my card. So the worker at the Popeyes charged my card for 28 and change and than pocketed my 20 dollars ….. so all together that’s 48 dollars. And now that I want my money back I’m getting the run around and I didn’t notice till I got home that I spent that much. I just want my 20 dollars back but they ain’t trying to give it to me and keep saying they have to investigate it! I don’t know why it’s ok for a worker to pocket 20 dollars from a customer and not give it to them!!! And why they are still working there and not fired. July 2025: I ordered bone-in wings and frozen mango lemonade. They didn't have either. I was stuck with these nuggets and regular lemonade. NO CHOICE! Checkout didn't care. Manager didn't care. Online bot was no help. No refund. Would not even let me choose that they were out of stock. They can give you anything they want!!!! It doesn't matter what you ordered.

I tried to reach out to corporate while I was still at the restaurant because the restaurant said I should ask for a refund through the app. Guess what they said: NO REFUNDS OR CHANGES AFTER THE ORDER IS PLACED. I tried calling later that day and you can't talk to anyone. They just refer you back to the same stupid app.

August 2025: Drove by the restaurant at noon today. Good result of the poor service: no lines at drive thru anymore! Haha.

November 2024 Sunday 4 PM AND STILL HORRIBLE? Thought I should give them another chance. Wrong idea. Ordered online. When we got to the counter, NO CHICKEN SANDWICH! Yet they are putting some together on the back counter. See picture. NO COLESLAW! Had to switch to another side . No napkins at the counter. When I asked for some, received dirty ones, pictured.
Atmosphere: played the same "Swany River" song on trumpet over and over and over..., jazz version.

Update 7/10/2022: today we arrived at 7:05 PM and when we got up to the screen to place our order, we were told, "We don't have any chicken or rice." After a 2 minute discussion, we determined that they don't have any bone-in chicken. So we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. We finally get up to the window and AFTER we paid, she said, "It will be 7 minutes for the sandwiches. Is that ok?" At that point we didn't really have much of a choice. The whole process from the time we arrived to the time we drove away was 55 minutes!

It's Popeye's! Of course it's juicy and delicious. And the chicken sandwich is irresistible. They make mistakes with the order sometimes but they always try to rectify. Not perfect but really great for fast food.

2/13/2022 Fries were barely warm and not crispy. Liked their Mac and cheese but it was also just barely warm at best.

I made an order for pick-up on 8/2 at 1:13 pm. There was no time given for when my order would be done, it just said “it will be ready soon” I constantly check my order for an hour, it still says “it will be ready soon” I end up calling the place after an hour to see if my order is ready. These guys said they didn’t even have my order, they were getting “slammed” with orders and were short staffed. They told me I’d have to go in and “wait my turn” I then pull up to this place, not to get my order, but to cancel it and get my money back. Right away I see a few workers lallygagging outside, I go in, there’s a line of people and the workers are just sitting there lallygagging as well.. in front of the customers. I put my order onine to them and went to pick it up. In the drive thru I gave them my name and they couldn't find my order. I had the receipt on my phone to show them and they said I was at the wrong store. I showed them my phone which showed them it is this store and what I ordered. They had me pull up and wait. The employees make and grab the sandwich’s without gloves (I didn’t see anyone wash their hands in between doing so). The employees fight about who lost your order, too busy arguing to work. I placed my online pickup order at 3:38pm, I didn’t receive it until 4:21pm, as I watched them make everyone elses food because someone had “my ticket”. Once i received my food, I asked if this is the portion they serve for large fries and the employee said yes and walked away. I paid $3.75 extra per large fries to receive a regular version just because they had 3 orders waiting on fries…so they shorted everyone’s order to a smaller portion. Disgusting and disappointing is an understatement for this restaurant, which sucks because I used to love their food.

We ordered our food at 12:08 an we ordered the 12 for $12 boneless original wings. We got 12 boned wings that were COLD . THEN we come back to correct our order we find employees out smoking weed! The person had 20+ orders stacked and only made them as people came in. So the person had to flip through the stacks of paper to find the right one. I moved in this area about 5 months ago and this is my 3rd time ordering here on door dash, I'm the person where 3 strikes your out and this place is out I really love Popeyes, but all 3 times was just disappointing. I work in the restaurant industry so I kno it can be bad days but 3 times in a row is ridiculous I will never order from here again. I would rather be unlazy and drive to the Popeyes off of Mayfair road Burleigh than even drive to this location and it's closest to me. I ordered spicy and got mild I ordered a 4 piece, I know Imma get a breast in the box but not 2, 2 breast a wing and drum I hate breast. I only ordered a 4 piece because I thought I would get all 4 when I ordered a 3 piece I got a breast, wing and drum, I thought I ordered in person a thigh because I made it clear I didn't like breast but I got 1 but they did fix it cause I was there in they face. I love love thighs but never seen to achieve those when I ordered from this location. I also always order a sweet tea Everytime but they never have it I don't drink soda at all or flavored drinks I drink tea and water all day so when a red drink shows up at my door I'm automatically disappointed. Worst place ever. If I could give no stars I would. I was there when a customer came in and said her order was missing food. The manger was so rude and argued with her. He refused to give her the missing items. 3 biscuits and 8 pieces chicken. He didn’t help her at all and refused to give her corporate number. Even the employees agreed she should get the rest of the order.

Waited outside for half an hour, worker came out and asked what we ordered, waited again, worker came out asking for proof of order, waited even longer, food finally came out, but drinks were absent and missing a side, worker said they don't have the drinks we ordered and they only have some sodas and they don't have the side we ordered, waited even longer, somebody else came out with drinks, but no side, waited even longer and eventually got the side.

This is a place with a limited selection of items, yet they are regularly out of staple items like chicken, drinks, and sides. This is their core food, how are they out? When you finally wait forever to get your food, it will almost certainly be wrong in some way and probably missing something. Instead of addressing the unavailable items at the drive-thru window, they make you pull forward and wait forever just to tell you they don't have something. Meanwhile, when you are waiting for your simple order and you are told to pull forward just so they can get out out of the way, they will happily fulfill orders of people behind in line and you get to watch them drive away with their food while you are left waiting. This is understandable if you have a large order, but is completely disrespectful when you ordered a single meal item on the menu.

KFC across the road has better service, though Popeye's has essentially dropped the bar on the floor, so that isn't saying much.

I asked the cashier what are the specials they have going on? She asked another young lady next to her and she said we don't have any. The manager told the young lady you been working here long enough you should know what to say. The young lady said I don't and the manager was like tell them to look online.
My thing is, if i am a customer and I ask a question pertaining to deals they have going on, why would I need to look online why the cashier is standing right in front of me. What if it was an older person who had no phone or knew how to even use the internet? Is that what you would say to them? The cashier was very polite and she said sorry to me and I said it's not her fault. This was bad service on the manager and my chicken was old and dark. You don't treat customers or your workers under you like that.

Rude as ever the lady in the drive thru all I wow, all I did was ask if the pickles sandwich was spicy or the chicken was spicy she started snapping talking crazy rude as ever. I cannot believe how rude people are at this Popeyes then they give you old stale chicken all the time dried out cold they need to fire her. This is ridiculous. Popeyes is a wonderful food chain people like her are bringing it down.

As usual, there was a huge wait at the drive-through, so, instead of waiting, I went inside. It is the typical fast food restaurant inside and outside. The food while deep fried and unhealthy was good in a fast food kind of way. I knew what to expect and got what I expected. On a very positive note, this particular location was extremely well managed. Kudos to the management team, and thanks for the tasty food.

I’m really frustrated how they got my order wrong and the sprite that I ordered was expired, I had a food poisoning from what I accidentally ate, I ordered and told them I wanted flounder fish and right after I payed they told me they had no flounder fish, everything was expired as well as the fries were cold and not crispy. The floors were dirty and I wanted to cry right after I found out about the restaurant. They serve us dirty food and it’s not exactly what I saw in the app or in the menu. I want to report this to the police but because I’m not that type of person I wouldn’t do that.

This store just can't get anything right. Most days if you pay cash, you need exact change because they never have any at all. The store is usually littered with discarded straw wrappers and sticky soda residue on the floor. When coming in only 3 of the soda flavors actually worked. They are also consistently out of food items. Today they were out of all chicken sandwiches. The staff is also usually rude or impatient with customers, spreading their frustration to the customer. They are also very slow. You have to wait in line for the person ahead of you to get their food before they even take your order. This makes your entire group wait until your food is cold by the time you all have something. Their drive thru usually has a long line that you will either be trapped in trying to get food, or trying to get around to park and walk in. This chain has food that I really enjoy, but I can't stand going there anymore. It is possibly the worst customer service in all of fast food.

I was the only car in the drive thru. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to ask to take my order. No one did. So I drive up to the window, just to see if the speaker was broken or something. I could see the employees inside just hanging out, playing on their phones. So I left.

I probably should have read the reviews before going here. You know I always thought the line was because the food was so good, but waiting 20 minutes in line and then having to wait another 20 for your food, isn't exactly what I thought fast food was supposed to be like. And as expected, the food was cold by the time I got it, so not really sure what the hold up was. Sadly I won't be back. Food isn't special enough to put up with the prices, poor service, training and management.

they did not have spicy chicken tenders when I got there,(not they didn't have any ready, didn't have any in the shop) didn't have cajun ranch, and when I went to get a fountain drink, sludge came out. GROSS. DISGUSTING. DISRESPECTFUL. I asked for 2 breasts. They said because it was close to closing time, they only charged me $2. They gave me the driest, most burnt pieces of old squirrel meat that they could find and sent me on my way.

For some stupid reason, I went back, and they did it again. Old, dry, bald headed chicken with almost no breading AND gave me fries instead of 2 mashed potatoes. Tried calling, no answer. I returned the next day with pictures and they said I should have brought the food back today. I don't want that nasty old bacteria growing in my refrigerator. Your place is terrible.

Ordered online. They didn't even know about my order when I arrived at the pickup time. I had to wait 20 minutes, and then they got the order wrong, I ordered the 16 piece meal, a 10 piece tenders, apple pie, cheesecake, and chocolate chip biscuit. I got the 16 piece, sides, and 2 apple pies, I asked about the tenders and biscuits and they said they were in the bag. I unpacked the bag and they were not there, and I had to wait longer to get their attention again to fix the order. They didn't have the other deserts. And it wasn't until I got home that I realized there was no sauce for the tenders. Terrible service

Crazy wait times. Don't know the cause so I don't want to blame anyone but be ready to wait close to an hour in the drive through. Still better than the Popeyes on 16th street by far.
Edit: On 2/1/25 i ordered two chicken sandwhichs and got two tenders on some bread instead of a chicken breast. If the tenders actually had meat I wouldn't be upset, but with skinny tenders it's terrible.

Went to the drive thru today, the girl on the speaker sounded upset, and had an attitude just taking my 1 meal order. When I got to window she pulled out her phone and put it up during putting her hand out for my card. The manager walked right up and started talking in her ear, and she took my card to the front, keeping her phone out waving around her face the whole time. She kept trying to slam the window shut (hard for her to do since the window kept going off the track), after every interaction, mad and rolling her eyes. She only said my total during the whole interaction, and I didn't even get a spoon for the mash potatoes. The food tasted like old grease, and was not worth the terrible interaction, which has me questioning if I need a new card since she had her phone out around it. Overall terrible experience.

If I could leave no stars, I wouldn’t leave any. This place is the absolute worst with service. Hours of operation states open at 10am. I don’t know why I had to wait 22 minutes at the drive thru order box and still didn’t get to place an order. We drove up to the window to see if anyone was there and they were doing nothing. Two teenage kids doing nothing. Any other location outside of these Milwaukee areas is way better service and quality. Save yourself time and just make the drive.

I waited 30 minutes in the drive through before placing an order. The attendant never asked me if I wanted my chicken tenders mild or spicy, so when I got to the window and told the attendant she assured me that they gave me mild. Guess what....they were spicy. Why lie? Just double check instead of telling me anything. I can't eat spicy because I have a sensitive stomach. Oh and the food was not up to par...the fryer oil needed changed because chicken was dark in color and you could taste the difference. Same goes for the fries...bad oil ruined them. I asked for sweet heat and they gave me BBQ. I spent a little over $30 for a horrible experience and li e too far to go back.

The food is delicious and they had always served me well, but on 11/12/2024 at around 5 pm I didn't understand the young man who served me very well, so I didn't know how to respond, all this because I am in the process of learning English, then he proceeded to prepare the order while he and the other partner started saying things alluding to the fact that I was Mexican, they laughed and looked at me, it is uncomfortable when you know they are talking about you but you don't understand what they are talking about, it seemed in bad taste to me, really. I think they should put people in charge of serving me who really want to work and who are more humane and not lazy people who hate the world because they have to work.

I ordered original chicken. It tasted nothing like the Popeyes I’m use to. The chicken wasn’t golden. It was dark brown. I ordered blackened chicken strips and they sent me some disgusting breaded strips. The only thing that tasted alright were the biscuits and mash potatoes. I do not recommend this establishment. If you want good Popeyes, go to Chicago.
