I haven’t been here since they first opened. And to be honest it was disgusting that time. The strips fries biscuits and red beans and rice were allllll bad. This time though the chicken sandwich and fries and red beans and rice were all perfect!! And the service was super fast and friendly. Thank you for that. Sure wish you could bring back the po’boy though! The big sandwich just doesn’t hit the same in my humble foodie opinion. Thanks!

I'd strongly advise you check your food if they seem to be too busy. My family and I have had our LAST meal here. I've tried calling to rectify this situation but can't seem to talk to anyone. I've been trying since August 30,2025. We spent almost $70.00 for this! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

My family and I ordered inside because they seemed to be too busy in the drive-thru. They were DEFINITELY understaffed and we agreed to wait patiently for the chicken to finish cooking. I specifically mentioned not being in a hurry for a fresh order and understanding the flow of business. All they need to do is set the timer and actually wait for it. I'm glad we caught this BEFORE giving it to our 8 year old and no one that had bitten into them was hospitalized. Things would've gotten REAL bad had any of us gotten sick. BE AWARE IF YOU EAT HERE!!!!

I had the occasion to travel to Shaboygan, Wisconsin. While there stop in for $5.00 / 3 piece special. I received Excellent customer service from a Popeyes? This is the second best Popeyes location I have visited. The staff was very friendly and thorough. Kudos to the staff. Keep up the AWESOME SERVICE! The chicken was spicy, hot & every bite was soo tasty !!!!

Well where do I start??? How about with today's escapade. I went to Popeyes for their chicken, the drive thru was busy. I finally got my turn and had to repeat my order 3 times. It was not complicated at all. A simple family pack. Well I was given a price and told to pull up to the window. Everyone ahead of me had to pull over and wait. It was my turn and I was given a different total than what I was told. So I question it? He repeated my order and I asked why it was a different total. He had no idea. I gave him the money and should have received my change but instead he told me to pull over. He then said it would be 40 minutes to wait. I said 40 minutes he then corrected himself and said 14 minutes. I said I would not wait that long and wanted my money back. Well he refuses to give me my money back. I asked why I was not told they were out of chicken when I placed my order. He had no answer. I demanded my money back. Again he said no and he got a manager. Well again I demanded my money back, she said she needed approval from upper management and asked me to pull over. I said no! I want my money back now! So he called for approval and it took several minutes, but I was given the money I gave to them and didn't receive my change from. I was given my original amount back. The customer service is so incredibly bad there. Between never getting orders correct and poor communication between staff and customers and the inability to have chicken available during the supper rush is unacceptable. I will definitely recommend other customers to go elsewhere because Popeyes customer service is really bad 😞

I typically don't write reviews on Google just because I tend to stay out of that realm. However, Popeye's deserves a review! A good one at that!

My mom and I were looking for a good quick bite to eat and Popeyes ended up being our designation and we're happy we chose them!

The food was cooked incredibly well and the Mac and cheese was SUPER CHEESY AND DELICIOUS!!!

The workers were very polite and were working extremely hard.

Overall the food was cooked very well. And the Garlic Parm wings were so tasty.

5/5 for Popeye's!

I was driving through sheboygan and made a point to stop here for a spicy chicken sandwich combo. I couldn't have been happier. Everything was perfect. The lady took my order almost immediately, took it correctly. I ordered my sandwich wo pickles and my food was made fresh and given to me within a few minutes. It was so delicious. I imagine this is exactly what the sandwich is supposed to taste like straight from their test kitchens. I wa so happy with my meal I made a point to thank them and compliment them on my way out. I like about 50 minutes away from here in Milwaukee and I have a Popeyes less that 5 minutes from my place and I won't go there. Service is so bad. I'd be willing to drive here a cpl times a month just to get my fix. It was that damn good. Thanks you to the entire crew working on may 4th 2025!!!!

Every time I come to this Popeyes I receive great service and 9/10 times experience high quality food. It usually takes a little longer for the orders, but good things take time to make. That's how you know it's fresh. I know "fast food" isn't really fast anymore. That's true for ALL fast food restaurants. The quality of Popeyes is what sets it apart from taco bell or McDonalds. You get quality at Popeyes, and that makes any wait worth it. Often times when I'm told to pull forward to wait, there's a pickup truck that always speeds off...it's always a pickup truck, and a different one each time... Also I super appreciate the coupon books I get once in a while, that's honestly what keeps me coming back :)

Happy with my $6 big box because without that deal my food probably would've been $20-25 bucks. Not happy that I wasn't greeted or acknowledged for the first 5 minutes I was in store. Ordered a 12 piece tender family meal, gave us the wrong food. When we called to tell them and ask to exchange for the correct food, they basically told us no, and that we either need to throw it away or eat it and they weren't going to correct their mistake. Food is decent as it should be for a new restaurant. I have had 2 issues so far however. 1st they say they are open on wendesdays until 11pm and I've been there 2x's now and they closed at 10. So whoever keeps changing their hrs needs to stop. And second, I'm all for immigration, but maybe don't have someone who barely speaks English at the cash register? The manager on duty thought it was funny that her employee kept messing up people's names but it's incredibly annoying to have to keep repeating yourself.
Also what's the point of doing a mobile order 10 mins before you arrive just to have to wait another 10 minutes after you get there? The level of service in sheboygan leaves a lot to be desired.

Service is terrible! Will not be coming again. It took 40 minutes for my mobile order after waiting 15 minutes at home so technically almost an hour. Came through drive thru and the guy at the window didn’t even know my order. He asks one of his coworker and said my name and she didn’t know either. Then he comes back and repeated the same order he asked me initially if it was my order. I told him no again and told him what I had ordered and then he tells me to pull forward and wait. Waiting was fine. However, I waited outside for almost 40 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, I went inside and asked how long it’s going to take and the woman said it’s coming right up. I have gone to Popeyes three times now and it seems like it gets worse each time. This time around, I ordered 12 pc classic chicken. waited 5 minutes to get to the window, which is understandable pending the cars ahead of me. However, once I reached the window. The attendant at the window did NOT know what I had ordered and almost incorrectly charged me 3X. I had to tell him exactly what I ordered AGAIN. He then proceeded to tell me to pull up to the door as it would be "5 minutes" before my order was ready. I pulled up to the door and waited for 10+ minutes. I saw at least 5+ cars behind me get their food and leave before me. After about 15 minutes, I walked INSIDE. When I was inside, no now acknowledged me even though there were three people by the register, one including the manager (or who I assume was the manager as they were wearing gray while everyone else was wearing orange). After a few minutes, someone finally asked if I had a pick up order. I told her that I have been waiting for my food from the drive through for over 10 minutes. She then asked if I had a receipt. I told her the guy at the window did not give me a receipt and said it was only going to be a 5 minute wait. The manager then came over and talked to me with her pair of tongs and snapped them at me saying she "THINKS" they are working on my order right now. I restated that I have been waiting for over 10 minutes. To which no one cared. a few minutes later, The guy from the window reached over the counter and gave me my chicken. No apology from anyone. it didn't seem like anyone cared they had wasted my time or guaranteed a time for me and failed to follow up or update me that it would be taking longer than expected. If I had known I would have to wait over 15 minutes for my chicken, I would have left and went to KFC. It's so sad to see this place have such poor reviews already since this place is one of the new places in Sheboygan. Good service is had to come by these days but the standards here are just not a priority to them so unfortunately, I won't be returning. Hope they do better in the future.

I got the spicy chicken tenders and my girlfriend got the signature chicken. The spicy tenders are really good tasting with the spiciness coming from a seasoning instead of sauce which I enjoy. The signature chicken came with a lot of meat and the fried crust was perfect. We both got the mashed potatoes with cajun gravy which was delicious. The biscuits were also a perfect middle ground of being moist and dry, not too moist where it's nasty and not too dry where it drys your mouth.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT OMGGGG this place will for real take all my money 😭 finally we have a popeyes here. the staff and management are all so amazing and kind! shout out to Karina for taking my order she’s such an angel 🥹 so sweet and made sure every detail was right about my order. I loved it so much I highly recommend stopping by and getting some delicious food from there! 10/10 experience and to top it off the dinning area was very clean. you don’t see that everywhere. Loved it here!

First time at this new Sheboygan location. Highly disappointed and don't recommend. The order was repeated two times and the whole order was still completely wrong. The soda was warm, watered down with zero carbonation, yuck! The food was luke warm, fries were cold, soggy, and wilted. My son ordered large Cajun fries and they stuck a small fry inside the box of another order. I ordered two drumsticks and they gave me a small dried up wing and breast.
They had a big team in there, so I'm NOT sure why they had all the difficulties. It's sad that this is how they are starting out already! Not going back!

Y’all don’t understand English in there. Food was MID! Didn’t get anything I asked for. Fries was soggy, biscuits was cold. Wait time was 43 minutes! Overall a 2.5/5. Only thing that was good was the strawberry Fanta! Wasted $52.
