We were just passing through the area and quickly decided to stop for a round of golf. I’m used to playing in golf courses in other regions. For the price I paid, I didn’t have a bad time. The majority of the nine holes are par 3’s, and some of them can be somewhat challenging due to ups and down. The greens were lacking and not cut as short as a green should be. They were pretty unpredictable. It was tough to differentiate the fairway from the rough, if not impossible. For the space that they are working with, the layout is nice. The staff were very friendly. I wouldn’t go again however I wouldn’t dissuade someone else from going! If a 9 hole course consisting of mostly par 3’s will scratch your golf itch while passing through town, go for it, but it didn’t scratch mine. Still overall I would not say I had a negative experience for a seemingly small town course.

* We changed our score. Went back this year= fairway is rough, grassy & the second hole there is no green at all. The flag is sitting in the middle of a fairway. No outhouses along the way except a broken tipped over one. Definitely not interested in going back.

Year 2024 review= Fairly decent course, lots of hills, greens were fair. Service was excellent. Looks like a driving range too before the clubhouse. We would go back!

Campground executive golf course in the north woods. Its about what one would expect. Greens were a little rough like many in the northwoods. Fairways and rough were cut ok but had some weeds in them. The course layout might have been a touch tight but was relstively challenging for some ups and downs to work through. The clubhouse and the staff made the experience great.

This is not a review of the golf facilities. This "camp ground" is definitely not for heavy Big Rigs, especially with tags. Tight surroundings with many trees.  $30.⁰⁰/ night.  The person on the phone will tell you full hookups - but no sewer, no dump station. Need to arrange for a vehicle "BlueBoy" be delivered, to empty your tanks - 30 gallons at a time. Water spicket on one side of the site and electric pedestal on the other. For the site that we were in, it was necessary to use an extension for water and also an extension for electricity. Only 30 amps are available. Water psi 40 that drops to 20. Sites are gravel, grass, and mud.

I paid $28.00 and started to golf this course yesterday, 5 June 2024. By the third hole, I had enough and drove cart back to clubhouse. I knew the course would be wet as there had been a substantial amount of rain in the past week, but it was a total waste of time and money. Two of three greens had what looked like weeds growing on them. There was absolutely no way to make putt based on skill. I hit the fairways of the three holes I played and had to search for quite a while to find them since the grass was like being in the rough. I would have loved to get a partial refund since I played only three holes but wasn't offered one. It would have been advisable for the course to be shut down for a period of time to let it dry out. I'm pretty sure there is not an immediate fix for the putting surfaces. So, $28.00 for three holes and three lost balls that hit the fairway was definitely not worth it.

It is a hidden gem that needs some TLC but the new owners are working on updating. Once they do some campsite Maintenance it will be a great place to camp out of the hustle and bustle.

Golf course was a plus for the stay. Restaurant had decent food at good prices and everyone was super friendly.

The clubhouse was clean, updated, and cool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The course is fully functional and well maintained. A beverage cart was fully stocked and available twice in a busy nine holes. Tee boxes remain uneven and the driving range is no longer. It's definitely a great place to host a tavern sponsored scramble or worry free golf.

This course is absolutely beautiful! But caution if you plan to play a Monday morning. We ended up waiting on 6 of our 18 holes for matnance workers. They didn't seem to care we were playing or on the tbox, and ended up not getting to put one because they set up a sprinkler. Would've appreciated being warned they participated in "matinance monday" beforehand! Luckily we got a Groupon and we're not in a rush so we still enjoyed ourselves!

Honestly, I don't have many good things to say about the course. In my view, it is way overpriced for the length of the course and condition it is in. Greens are a joke...many of them are extremely small, slow, and discolored. It is hard to tell on the longer holes where the fairway is and the rough is. Some holes are downright stupid and quirky with blind shots. Its just not worth the drive and money in my book with other courses around the price point that are in much better condition and fun to play

This course is a hoot. It is short, but challenging. The greens are old fashioned, hence small. They are domed so you must approach from the front or you will be back and forth all day. There are tough blind shots on par 3’s. It is a target golf course. There is one Par 5 that is a bit redonkulous! When you play you will know what I mean! You can play a round in under three and a half hours if you can shoot straight. Don’t waste your time looking for lost balls! You’ll never find them. Just stay in the short stuff and have fun.
