Ok for as long as I have gone here you can NEVER buy quarts of ice cream without them being melted to the point of near liquified. I’m guessing old equipment , or turned down to save on the electric bill or poor ventilation and freezers can’t properly cool. Food quality very low. Not quite sure what the burgers are made of… Either way too cheap and don’t care. It shows . I’m so glad they are closing… maybe someone with passion will take over and make it what it should’ve been.all along.

This place is very popular so be prepared to wait. This is one of those times where the wait is absolutely worth it. Using grilled cheese sandwiches instead of bread is a pretty crazy idea for a patty melt, but it was delicious. Don’t tell my trainer. Get yourself a burger while you still can!

This restaurant is very special to me and thousands of other people that have had the honor of eating the wide selection of unbelievable food and awesome desserts here at Pop's Custard in Menomonee Falls. I've been coming here since I was 14 and in high school. Back then you could get a soda of your choice,a rather large hamburger and an order of French fries for a $1.25. Everyone at North high school ate there on our lunch hour,it was a ritual for many of us. I've been back many times throughout my life and still enjoy myself. I have heard that Pop's is closing and that truly saddens me. Thank you for the wonderful years we've had there and I want to thank everyone throughout the years that worked their butts off to make sure we had the best tasting food ever!!

I’ve been going to pops with my family since i was a child, the place is only getting better.

The potential to dominate your younger sibling at TicTacToe at the table before your food is ready. Then to get served some of the BEST burgers, malts and sodas in the wisconsin area. We ordered the butter burger and a side of cheese curds, both being incredibly tasty and probably one of my top 5 places for cheese curds after this visit. Along with this the strawberry malt hit the spot, and the coke was unironically the best i’ve ever had. No idea what they have going on with that soda machine but it was delicious. All in all pops is what i remembered as a kid- great food and atmosphere.

Please go by pops and support this staple, phenomenal food for literally years.

I tried the small single butter burger, and it was great! I added tomato and lettuce and cheese. The tomato and lettuce were super fresh and there was a good amount on the burger. It was the perfect size for me. I got a snowstorm with peanut butter cups and banana. It was a bit runny, but I’m guessing it’s because the burger took a little bit to come out of the kitchen. It was quite busy, but was totally worth it. I will definitely be back. Inside it’s a very cozy and family friendly vibe. Thank you for the delicious food and great service.

Cute little custard place with an extensive menu. You can call in an order for pickup or order in the restaurant; it doesn't take long for them to prepare the food. Great selection of burgers and sandwiches, plus soup and appetizers. I particularly like the Southwest Chicken Sandwich. The only thing I have ordered and not liked was the tuna melt - it had a strange seasoning or spice that I didn't care for. My daughter had the brownie sundae and it was substantial. I visited this place because it used to be great, but unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. We ordered a tuna melt and a cheeseburger. Both the burger and the fries were served cold, and the tuna melt wasn’t warm either. I mentioned it to the cashier, and their solution was simply to reheat the burger and refry the same fries in the same oil. For nearly $30, the quality and service were not worth it. I expected much better.

My family has been going to Pop’s for years since we moved to the Falls. It’s always been good, with good service and prices that were decent, but not great. I thought the slightly higher prices were justified because it’s a small business - the kind of place my family and I like to support.

Tonight, I stopped in because I was craving custard after I had dinner at home. I was SHOCKED to see that a “Snow Storm” was $8.99! A Google review from just three weeks ago had a picture of the menu, showing the same item at $6.79. Of course, inflation touches everything. But this just feels exploitative.

Because I was already there and don’t want to spend any more time, I reluctantly ordered my custard, but, disappointingly, that will be the last time I stop at Pop’s. There are a lot of other options. Maybe other folks can spend that kind of money at a place like Pop’s- they were busy tonight - but it won’t be me.

The service was still good, food and atmosphere are okay. But the value just isn’t what it used to be, so overall, 2 Stars.

I've always favored Kopps for all things custard and cheeseburgers. I do still love Kopps, but POPs is a very close second in my book. Service is great, they haven't screwed up my order like your typical fast food places do.
The custard is great and love the "single" scoop which is more like a double... I'm not complaining!
The food is pretty good, burgers are perfect size and tasty, the sides are decent.
The custard and springs are what make this place.
Definitely try it out if you haven't, you won't be disappointed!

We were in the area and a hot and humid day DEFINITELY called for custard! Since we have not tried this location, it was an easy decision. While walking in, someone was carrying out onion rings - that made it onto my order because they looked great! The onion rings and curds were very good. The huge selection of custard was difficult to decide but we were able to finally narrow down our choices. The root beer float custard and cotton candy blend were good choices! The workers were very friendly even though it was very hot and they were pretty steady with customers. This place is worth a stop, and then go back again! Love the look of the place also.

This place has been calling my name and luring me back in since the mid 80s. Absolutely, one of a kind, in a league of its own, 100% Wisconsin frozen custard served up in a quaint little restaurant in the heart of Menomonee Falls. This is a great little dive of a place: small, clean-feeling, kitschy, and with a substantial menu (relative to its genre). I can recommend getting a burger and custard. I have always been a fan of Pops, but today I was very disappointed in their service. My friend is lactose intolerant, and she ordered a hamburger with no butter or cheese and received a regular cheeseburger. That’s fine, mistakes happen sometimes. So we told one of the younger ladies in the front and explained that she’s lactose intolerant and politely asked them to remake the burger. The girl just rolled her eyes, didn’t say anything and seemed extremely annoyed. That’s terrible customer service. Not even an apology was extended. Then they remade the burger and handed us another burger with cheese. The first time they messed up we were understanding. But the SECOND TIME?!?! My friend had to again re-explain that she’s lactose intolerant and can’t have cheese. The girl seemed even more annoyed like we were really inconveniencing her. It’s just sad. It’s not like my friend just doesn’t like cheese. There’s a reason. And we explained it. She can’t have it. And even if she just didn’t like cheese it doesn’t matter! The customer asked for an order and received it wrong twice. No apologies extended either time. Just attitude. Terrible customer service. Not sure I can go back. It’s a food allergy for crying out loud.
