First time at a Portillo's. We loved the food! Polish sausage and whitefish sandwich with fries. Very friendly service and food was ready quickly. ONLY complaint is we were surprised at how we were there at opening and tables and floor were dirty. So was the glass coming in. Like they hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Plenty of people working too.

This service is about the worst I've seen at a Portillos bar US31 in Indianapolis... People working servicing their friends while $60 order sits. Then they put onions on a no onion PS, The beef was COLD, they gave all the cheese away to the friends, and the girl had to dig to the bottom to half fill 2 cups of cheese. MY FAMILY AND I WON'T BE COMING BACK.

If you can't decide between dessert and a drink, they have you covered with their Chocolate Cake Shake! Of the bazillion times I have been here I have never had one - until now. Wow it was delicious! Along with the tender and delicious Italian Beef sandwich, their crispy fries with a tiny tub of cheese sauce, this was a delicious meal that was well worth the detour... it wasn't on my route but it's a drive I'll make any time for this incredible beef! The server was great and I got my food quickly. I'll be back to this favorite stop while in the area! We need more in Wisconsin - please come north!

Their Italian Beef, wet, with hot giardiniera is to die for! The sandwich has all the right flavors! The bread has a great texture after getting dunked. The bread is soft, but not slimy like a cheap/inferior bun. I could eat several of them, several days in a row! I wish there was a a Portillo's closer to where I live.

I also had their Chicago Dog. It was a good proper Chicago Dog. Delicious!

I've been a die hard fan of Portillo's since being introduced in the '90s when I frequently worked in the Chicagoland area. Food was always hot, delicious, well proportioned. Had a beef bowl combo from this location today that was lukewarm at best (added mozzarella never got close to melting), the peppers to beef ratio was about 50% and the sausage was cold. Had I not previously waited in the Drive-Thru for nearly 15 minutes I would have gone back. Some good things should never come to an end. Unfortunately, this one is pretty close as my last few visits have been subpar. Portillo's, what happened?

Food was very cold and missing items that were listed on the receipt for all sandwiches ordered to the point we had to take it back. Cheeseburger was greasy and flavorless. None of our beef sandwiches were dipped like requested even though it was on the receipt. Cheese fries were the only thing worth eating. Very disappointing visit to Portillo’s unfortunately.

Absolutely love portillos, actually came here after having horrible service at my go to food spot and this place hit the spot! Got a big sandwich with a sausage and cheesey fries. Best part I got the sandwich dipped in the gravy! Usually when I go to portillos it's packed but this one was calm and clean. Staff that took my order barely spoke but I'm fine with that because he made sure my order was right. Overall this place felt like heaven after the hell I had left. 😂 New go to spot has changed, if I'm going to spend my money somewhere I'm picking the spot where I have my food done right. Couldn't even post a picture because when I got it the food was already gone.

Don't trust the "seals" on takeout orders, open everything in store. Has to waste my lunch going back to get items they forgot, and had to wait while they re-stocked those items too. Ended up with cold soggy fries and sandwich, and no time to eat anyway. I had a bit of a drive, so didn't get to shovel my lunch into my face till a half hour after I first sat down to eat it.

Their beef sandwiches are outstandingly disgusting. They taste like paper. The meat has absolutely no flavor, not even salt. The meat is also mushy almost soggy, so soggy that it made the bread all soggy too. The stuff on it just tastes like any old pckled peppers out of a jar, nothing special. I would only recomend this place to my worst enemy. My husband said the spicy chicken sandwich was good but he went to Culver right after for some tenders because he wasn't full lol so do with that info what you will. Everything is also very overpriced.

We bypassed the Greenfield location that we visit frequently assuming this would be another great location.
They completely messed up our order, we paid for additional peppers, cheese sauce etc and didn’t recieve any of it on top of the order being screwed up. We’d ordered 3 combos, 1 Italian sausage sandwich by itself and 1 kids meal… the only thing correct were the beverages!
We were told to go inside to have everything corrected/remade since we ordered in the drive through.
We still weren’t satisfied with the food, still didn’t get the cheese sauce we paid for but the customer service from the manager, a few employees and the willingness to fix the issue was nice, very thankful for that. Food 0/10
Just a waste.

I know the foods good but I made a mistake by not knowing the beef and cheddar croissant has gravy on it...at least I think it does because my poor sandwich was a wet sponge. First time here. Loved that they have a big enough menu to accomdate everyone liking. The food was really delicious & and the staff was friendly. We ordered the Italian Beef & Sausage Sandwich Combo, the Hotdog combo , and a kid's meal. All meals came with French fries & a drink. My first time at a Portillo's and I'll definitely be back! Had the Maxwell Street Polish it was fantastic. I usually don't care for crinkle-cut fries but they were thin enough to be crispy and tasty. The interior looked really cool and the staff was extremely friendly and fast. My only regret was I didn't have room to try more of the delicious sounding menu items! 🤤

Whomever put it in the bag, threw it in because when I pulled it out of the bag all the toppings came out of the wrapper.
